Stuck at boot screen

I'm stuck at the "Tap the screen to set up your Windows Mobile-based device." The screen on my HTC 8125 has been acting flakey... working sometimes, but mostly not. A friend thought he would help out, and thought hard reseting the device might help. Now I'm stuck at the tap this screen message, only the touch screen isn't working and is not accepting the tapping. Am I completely outta luck without a phone now?? At least before I could make and answer phone calls. Now, NOTHING. Just this screen. IF there is any way around this that anyone knows of, PLEASE let me know!!
Thank you
I think you have a hardware problem
Maybe the flex
maybe the microcontroler
maybe the rom Try a new again instead the one you have
for skip this screen alignment try to search on the forum there are many ways
I simply conect it to activesync even if it is stucked at this screen it syncs with your pc via activesync... then go to explore...Windows folder.... startup... and delete the file called welcome.lnk then softreset.
Yeah my wizard is stuck to @ tab the screen etc.
I can't connect to activesync becuase activesync does not detect the phone.
Nevermind!

I have the same problem, i tried looking through explorer but i couldnt find the file to delete so that i could bypass this startup. If anyone figured anything out let me know please.

thanks!
1. Do a soft reset. (small hole on the right side)
2. When screen is black hold camera button, this will boot into bootloader
3. Connect USB cable (USB will show over left softkey)
4. Try to flash a new ROM.
I did this process a few times with different roms.. the best I had was using the HardSPL process, and then the NBD_v8.3_8MB rom.

[Q] HELP! SGS doing funny things - USB connected

Really need help guys. My SGS is doing REALLY funny things...
I just got my SGS a few days ago and so far all I've been doing is installing aps on it (no messing with rooting/flashing).
Today, I was trying to get Keis to work. I reinstalled Keis and unplugged and repluggeed my phone a few times and managed to get it to recognise.
Here's the problem, now it ALWAYS says USB connected on the top left hand corner. Everything seems ok except after a few minutes of the screen turning off, I can't turn it back on again. Absolutely no activity. If I try to turn it back on immediately after it goes off, it can come back on again.
Things get weirder. If I remove my battery or turn it off, I can't turn it back on again (it flashes a loading symbol in the middle of the screen for half a second then nothing happens). To turn it back on, I have to plug it in and wait for the charging screen to come on. THEN it comes on.
I've tried doing a factory reset but nothing changed... Is there a hardware fault? Perhaps flashing will solve the problem?
ps. When it's off, I can enter download mode but not recovery more unless I plug it in...
Sounds like a hardware problem on phone, But I beleive its more of a Grounding problem with your usb. Can you try it with another port or computer? Also does your pc/laptop have a grounding pin for its power supply? I noticed I get odd power spikes when I travel to asia as their power is not always good. You can always buy a surge protector for your computer and one for your samsung charger. Other then that see if you can get new KIEs (I Don't EVER use it as its crap and never reconizes my phone)
Also if you want to kick up a storm, get the thing replaced as it sounds like a phone hardware problem as it should not crash when you take battery out. Could be battery but better to change the whole thing.
Try activating USB DEBUG in settings. Check the option and restart.
It should solve the problem. You can UNCHECK again the option and the phone should work also without USB debug activated
It will happen again, it seem to me a problem with some USB port, or some cables, activating a *waiting for USB* option BEFORE the ROM loading
Thanks
Thanks for the advice guys. Last night it suddenly started behaving itself after the 10th or so hard reset *phew*
Very strange problem and I think I will stay well clear of Kies from now on... Samsung make a good phone but lousy software...

[Q] Charging but not opening??

Hello everyone..
I broke my phone (i9000) screen flex.. and ordered a brand new screen.. i wait about 2 month to have got the new screen..
as soon as it arrived i replace the old one.. screen working without any problem.. but i couldn't manage to open the phone..
power button appears to not working.. if i connect to the charger i can see the battery icon, but i cant wake up the phone..
please help me..
I would suggest that you open the phone again...take the battery out and pull the rear- or middle cover away again (unscrew that 6 or 8 screws). Then insert battery again and try to start the phone by pushing direct onto the inside "powerbutton". I got this managed with my fingernails but perhaps a small tool will help for example a pencil or something like that.
If its starting then, you just have to adjust the inner powerbutton better to that small frame, so that the external powerbutton does it meet better by pressing it.
Fisrt of all, thank you for the reply..
The phone is separated to the parts.. i try your suggestion.. nothing happened..
i try to link the two base pin of the power switch with a cable.. still nothing happend..
something strange is happening but i can't understand..
update..
I start up the phone..
But the power key isn't working.. I can't take to the sleep mod with power key..
How can i boot it up.. I made a jig with 300k ohm.. then pluged in to the phone.. than it opened to the download mode..
I try to flash a new rom, but computer said "device don't connected".. I give up than unplug the jig.. Suddenly phone powered up..
So i don't know how i powered it up.. but it is working..
I still have an issue.. Please help me about non working power key..
I don't think your power key problem is software or rom related....there should be something mechanical or electrical wrong.
I made the same experience when i unplugged the usb jig...phone starts automatically (sometimes), think this unplugging causes a sort of electrical bridge between the contacts and so the phone starts.
To get in recovery mode there is an app in play store, called: reboot to recovery (root). With that you will get in CWM...i do not know anymore whether it also has an option: reboot to download mode, but therefore you will have your jig, if necessary.
I'm already using a cm rom.. So i can boot to recovery easily.. Updated to the lastest nightly..
I agree with you about the problem source.. But i don't know how to fix this..
I can open the phone with this jig methot.. but this is not working every attempt.. I need to fix problem..

T-Mobile G Flex only charging (D959)

Hi Everyone,
I was hoping someone would be able to help me with this as I've been at it for hours and I still can't do anything.
Basically at this point I think my phone is stuck in a reboot, what happens is when I open the phone the LG logo pops up, after that the T-Mobile 4G LTE screen with the white background shows up and the phone basically either gets stuck on that screen until the charging is finished or reboots every hour or so. I don't understand whats going on I've never touched the phones files and I've never rooted etc. I've also tried to hard reset but its the same problem. I found a ROM for this phone (original from TMobile) and I was planning on trying to install that and hopefully getting it to work but for that I need to be able to get into download mode, whenever I hold the volume up button and plug the cable in it goes straight to charging and my laptop says USB Charge only Interface (tried all 4 ports), I've also installed the LG United Mobile Driver but to no avail. Since my laptop is not recognizing that my phone is plugged in other than a simple sound and the laptop charging the phone I don't know how else I can get the phone to work because I cant access developer options either for the phone because of the reboot / stuck problem.
Does ANYONE have a fix for the problem? I don't want to go out and buy another phone because I really like this phone. I hope there's a fix. Thank you.
Ive come back to this issue and I still haven't found a solution, I'd be forever grateful if anyone has!

Cannot start phone after battery got fully depleted

Hello,
Today I didn't notice that I need to charge my phone, so it eventually turned itself off. Later I knew I received an important SMS that I wanted to check but I didn't have the charger at hand so I tried to turn it on twice. Both times the Mi logo showed up, then the phone immediately turned off. The 3rd time I tried to turn it on, nothing happened.
When I was finally able to connect a charger, nothing happened. The screen doesn't turn on, the Mi logo or battery logo doesn't show up, the small LED doesn't react either. The charger was heating up so I knew something is happening so I left my phone there. When the charger started to cool down I knew that the charging is done, so I tried to turn on my phone again but nothing happened.
I have TWRP 3.3.1-0 and LineageOS 16.0 20200422 Nightly installed.
I have tried to press Pwr+VolUp but nothing happened.
I have tried Pwr+VolDn and FASTBOOT showed up. From here I tried to reboot by holding either Pwr or Pwr+VolUp or Pwr+VolDn.
By holding Pwr+VolUp or Pwr+VolDn the device turns off.
By holding the Pwr button, the Mi logo shows up for a split second then the phone turns off.
At this point I stayed in FASTBOOT and connected my phone to my PC and tried to use the Flasher Toolkit Nikel V3 (the tool I used when I installed TWRP and the custom ROM and whenever a LineageOS update bricked the phone) to reboot or boot into recovery, TWRP.
The phone doesn't react to any commands which is really strange, never had this issue before.
If I try fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-0-santoni.img I get the error "unlock device to use this command." Which is really really strange because I had it unlocked before.
So currently I cannot turn on my phone, I can only reach FASTBOOT and nothing else. My main goal would be to backup data (photos etc), reviving the phone is only secondary.
I was searching the whole day on the internet and couldn't find anything that helped.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Try charging with different USB and charger.
Also you may want to remove the back panel and disconnect the battery connecter from motherboard and reconnect it after few seconds and try charging with charger.
Proceed carefully if you wish to remove back panel in order to not damage any device components to be precise the fingerprint flex cable which is glued to back panel.
This is what helped me to revive my phone but I couldn't find any trusted stock ROM sources so I installed a stock ROM from androidmtk.com and xiaomistockrom.com.
Can someone please tell me if they are safe or not? And if not, can someone please link me a Redmi 4X stock ROM I could use with the XiaoMi Flash Tool?
Also, it seems the phone cannot detect anything in the 2nd SIM slot. How can I fix it?
