Now i have an ask:
How can i install stock apk of android 2.3.5
I'm interested in these apps:
1) Samsung's MyFile
2) Calendar
3) Memo

It's not possible, as the ics rom and the stock Samsung rom use different framework. You should try ES explorer, which is free on the Market. Also there are many free notes apps. Please hit thanks if I could help

Marcee may be correct. I tried many times installing the touchwiz music apk, but it never installed. Of course, you'll need the touchwiz framwork which ICS doesn't have. Unless there's a way...

I really miss the TW dialer with the swiping of contacts left and right. Is there a 3rd party dialer app that does that?

It may be helpful, to wipe data of the Memo.apk in Manage Applications?!

atm not, but it is the stock samsung keyboard fitted to the border of the screen, resized.
The keys are smaller.

NGP from 4pda.ru found how to fix issue with market. It's not the fault of the firmware version, but a version of the Market. Replacing Vending.apk in the firmware to the old version solves all problems. The main thing is to log in to market account held "in the presence of" the old version of Market.
Before flashing should change Vending.apk (/system/app/Vending.apk) to attached one

just hold the power button pressed until the menu appears.. there you have the option to take a screenshot...
spen doesnt work with aosp rom, but must work with any rom using touchwiz

Second Question, Is there any way to delete Unwanted Home Screens from the Stock ICS Launcher on AOSP?
Should be able to hit menu and then edit maybe off homescreen. If its Nova launcher, you can double tap home button and drag screens to the X.
Which launcher is included in the asop rom?

the original ics launcher... changing dpi could cause force closes which lead to flashing the whole thing again.. so i would suggest to install nova launcher from market first...

Hey guys, I just made the thread to let you know about the new buzz launcher in market. I own an o3d and an ob and the thing is really cool. Basically it allows you to view and download other people's homescreens and share yours, apps and widgets included, in a few simple clicks. Just try it out. working just fine here on both my lg devices (black and o3d) stock ics. don't know what the problem might be.
why do they need permission like services that can cost me money ? is there in app purchase option ? i hate that i see apps with permissions like this. makes me feel paranoid but what the hell...lets try it.

no in app purchases but you use internet connection to download the various homescreens... anyway I think you will like it. It is customization at its simplest

its from the galaxy Y so it is based in stock , it will not work in cm. maybe try in gingermod or emanon

i tested in stock rom deodexed, moving to system because not
installed via recovery, and:
AccuWeather works, Calculator works, Contacts and DialerTabActivity not work (My phone app has disappeared), Launcher (Holo launcher themed) works, Music not work (force stop), Music Hub I have not tested , WeatherWall works...
