Otterbox commuter case.

Ill give you a little review of what I think of it.
Quality is good as in any otterbox product ive come across. Fit and finish is top notch and fits on the device nice and snug. It comes with 2 parts and a screen protector.
I have not put the screen protector on yet since I have the one from tmobile. (which is **** btw) The only downside of the case I see is that it does not fit in the docking station. May have too do some surgery to get it too work.
I say get one its a great case and the back is hard plastic. I have not tested the durability yet and hope I dont have too.

I love my Otterbox for the Streak 7, but would love to find a nook type cover (closing/opening) like a book that fit the Streak WITH the otterbox on.

I love the Otterbox, really sucks that it doesn't fit in the dock with it.
Let me know if you cut anything on yours to make it fit.

I have been pleased with the Otterbox. I think the only complaint I have is that it took several tries to get the case on straight over the silicone. OCD. Had to get all the edges right. & it would be better with an sd card cutout. Debating about getting the dock, since I really haven't started consuming media with the S7 yet. So don't know how valuable a dock cutout would be (for me).

Not that I was expecting it to, but the Leather case at T-Mobile doesn't work WITH the Otterbox on the Streak. Furthermore the biggest problem the leather case, other than the shoddy quality is that it doesn't have a port for the charging cable.

I just got the commuter today and I really like it. It seems to protect the tablet pretty well.

Curious, what did you guys pay for the otterbox case? I could swear the commuter case was $39.99 but now its showing $49.99.

I ordered mine through dell for $49.95(have a dell preferred account) and I think you are right! a few days ago I checked otterbox's website and saw it for 39.. I figured dell just marked it up by 10 bucks, but it seems like otterbox rasied the price

On the otterbox there is a rubber cut out on the top left corner. What's that cut out for?

Its for a tv antenna that us in the states will never get. Go into your internal sdcard and look through the manual. It explains it more

I called OtterBox and told them that I had went to the otterbox site a few weeks ago and the price was 39.99 and I wanted to know if I could still get it at that price since it was now 49.99 and the rep spoke to a manager they both said that they were unaware of the price going up. They sold me the commuter case for 39.99 with free shipping!

A really useful topic.
Actually there are lots of hard cases on ebay, but in my opinion they adding unnecessary bulk to the phone which is not quite slim itself. So from day 1 I've been searching for a good thin (probably silicon but could be other material) full body cover.
So to add to your list, the first one that was out there since the phone launch, the Amzers silicon jelly:

the white S shaped case also looks pretty tight too

Dell Streak Soft Side/Belt Clip Holster

I've designed and am producing a new soft case for the Dell Streak 5" in two flavors. The first fits the bare Streak phone and the second fits the Streak phone with the with the Otter Box Defender skin/case (without the Defender belt clip installed). The big difference in them is that the second model for the Streak with the Otter Box Defender skin/case installed on it is a little wider, taller, and thicker to accommodate the additional size and to reduce friction caused by the Defender's rubber composition when inserting or removing the phone from the holster. I'll post pics of both holsters ASAP. At this point I'm looking to find interested purchasers. Might also be able to have custom branding/embroidering done as well later on if anyone's interested.

Belt holster for Streak w/Otterbox Defender
I'm very interested. I love the protection I have with the Defender but hate the belt clip holder. My phone pops out of it all the time.

The OP posted two identical threads in May and hasn't been seen since, I suspect there's no updates

You guys need a Grandmother with a sewing machine...
2 soft material panels for the inside (heavy cotton, felt, etc)
2 durable panels for outside (like cordura or demin or whatever)
2 plastic sheets to form rigid panels between the above
1 strip of the outer material to form the sides
Then decide if you want a flap, button, or zipper closure
Then decide if you want a belt loop or caribeener to clip it to you.
Make a mock up using old clothes like an old tshirt or pillowcase or jeans as a no cost design.

TITAN belt pouch for VIVID with case?

I just took delivery of the Case-Mate for my Vivid.
It is very well made and fits perfectly. Silicone sleeve with hard outer cover.
Gives the phone really good grip and protection. Got it for under $14 delivered.
I have always carried my phones in a belt pouch.
Does anyone know if a case designed for the 4.7" Titan will fit the 4.5" Vivid with case?
Many of the Ebay sellers advertise pouches for both phones but I wonder if they are the same pouch giving a tighter fir when used with the Titan.

Where did you find it for 14 shipped? The cheapest I've seen it for is 20 shipped. I'm also considering goin with the seidio active case.

Case Logic vs rooCase

Hi everyone. I just got my Nexus 7 (my first Android device) and I'm looking for a good protection. I am still not sure if I want a case or a sleeve, but when it comes to sleeves, I narrowed my search to rooCase Bubble sleeve and
Case Logic Nexus 7 sleeve.
I don't care much about the size or weight, I only want the best protection. I'd appreciate any help and suggestions. Thanks!
