Hi all,
Just wanted to let ICS users know that, with today's update, GTAIII is finally working on ICS equipped Xoom's (well, it's working for me on EOS wingray, anyways). The game no longer locks up as it had been doing before the update.
Thanks for the update
Awesome. Time to play again.
Also controller works great now!

The Gamestop Android controller works with GTA and many other games as well as the emulators.

There's a free version available bit when I load a game, it kicks me out. The oder versions worked fine on my nexus one.
Can someone confirm this please?

I don't think the developer is reading this forum, but he has mention this issue over at his blog:

However, I’m still looking into the incompatibility of psx4droid on the LG Optimus / Honeycomb / Xoom devices. Since I do not have any of these devices, it will take a good amount of time debugging

Go look around for V1 (not V2) 1.7, it's the best version so far and works like a charm on my 2x.

Thank you, now psx4droid also work on my optimus 2X.
i used fpsece on my windows mobile when i owned xperia x1 , it was really nice to play some games with keyboard in slowmotion for most of them , but now i have lg2x it's really fast but , i cant play any racing games becouse onscreen layout butons...it's really sensitive to much if you ask me ....when i steer left or right it keep steering even if i let the button ....how do you deal with that ? sorry for bad english
Just FYI: The developer http://www.zodttd.com/ released a new beta 3.0.7 some hours ago, which works on my Optimus X2 (even though sound is a bit strange on some ROMs). You can get it right here: http://t.co/T6vsQjc
Strange, the 3.0.6 is not avalaible... Where is the post on zodttd.com ? plz
Beta 3.0.7 and 3.0.6 doesn't work on my LG OS.
The emulator didn't save the path to the seleted bios. So the emulation didn't start.
My speccs:
- modaco v10b Fr10
- cpasjuste 2.6.32.9 - 5 psycho kernel
How is your working configuration ?
I've tested it and it doesn't work on my phone either, so i just bought FPSE and that really works like a charm on my phone. It's fast and smooth and runs well everything i tested so far!
Sorry, this topic is related to psx4droid !
Buying FPSe is not the solution.
But zodttd is aware of this problem. Quote from twitter:
@HarrisMAhmad Hmm. I know the Optimus 2x is incompatible currently. Fixes are coming for that device too. I'll have to debug.

btw:
psx4droid supports eboot images and some games are working under psx4droid but not under FPSe and vice versa.
So there is no best emulator. To have both emulators is the solution to have the best psx emulation experience.
Psx4droid v3.0.7 works. Just tested fpse and it just destroys psx4droid easily.
You are absolutely right.
Deleting the App and all related stuff and a new installation was the solution.
Now playing Crash Team Racing as high compressed EBOOT.php (ISO - 577,64 MB / EBOOT - 356,49 MB )
Runns smooth on LG OS
I had both of these on my gtab, cant get them to work on xoom... they open but when i pick a game it goes to a black screen then back to game select
anyone get these to work?
The most recent version of SNESoid Lite works fine for me. I've been playing Mario RPG lately without any problems, and I played Mario World the other day with my Wiimote Classic Controller connected. I just grabbed it off the Market and haven't had any trouble yet.
I know the 3.0 version of psx4droid was crashing on Tegra chips (or maybe just the Xoom), but the latest version (3.0.5, put up today) attempted to fix it. ZodTTD has said that he doesn't have a Tegra device so it's been hard for him to debug, but you can keep an eye on his site: http://www.zodttd.com/wp/
Edit: Just tried psx4droid and it crashed on me, so it looks like there's still some issues with that one...
i have snesoid full 2.2.2 and no dice, but the lite version thats 2.4 works, ughhh
I just coughed up the $4 to get the newest version from the market and it worked, on to beating super mario world again
oh, and I had psx4droid running on a old version 1.7 on my gtab im trying that now, will post results shortly
psx4droid v2 1.1.2 works on my Xoom fine, along with Snesoid 2.2.4.

So ive never really used bluetooth before....for anything....on anydevice...ever lol. So the other day i bought this nifty little bluetooth controller for my phone (you know...to sneak games in at work ;D btw its a Nyko Gamepad and its awesomesauce). So I found myself looking over at the touchpad on my desk thinking...hmmmm this could be awesome to use with the gamepad! But a quick XDA search seems to report back that Touchpad + android + Bluetooth=Nope.
Heh so my question is, is there any roms out there that support bluetooth (like is it pre cm10 or something?) and if so can I get some opinion on which one I should try ( I suppose that it would be cool to use a cm9 based rom cause then i could use SGA's GamerZ kernel ). Any info would be cool, If you feel like flamin just keep on walkin buddy .
The only ROMs that dont have bluetooth working are the newest 4.2.2 based ROMs (CM10.1). Anything before that should work fine. I used to use my PS3 controller with it all the time.

Development for the TouchPad isn't as fast pace as it used to be. The CM10 ROMs are probably as good as they are going to get. Most devs are working on CM10.1.

When I used my PS3 controller, it was mostly with emulators. PS1, Sega, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, etc. Some Android games worked really well with it though like Shadowgun. The Sixaxis Controller app also lets you create your own button mapping which makes it useful for any android game. I used it with the amazing spiderman, the dark knight, Dead Trigger, Max Payne and others.

I think I was just using jcsullins build. Its been a while but it worked great. I've been on cm10.1 for a while now. The only downside is the lack in Bluetooth.
I have my chromecast on my samsung TV. But I can't really play GTA or any games because of a small amount of lag. Any ideas or ways to get around?

Buy a Nexus player? No but the issue might reside in the limitation of chromcast only using a 2.4ghz network instead of 5 GHz which might reduce the lag

I play emulators on mine every day one mine and they work great. I mainly use SuperGNES and Mupen64. I've heard there are PS1 emulators and Game cube/GBA that also work. I'll try GTA on mine later.
You need to sideload the games to it using EFS but its really easy to do. Also PS4 controllers do work from what I've seen. You can head over the the Nexus Player forum to see more because I haven't checked recently.

When I try to cast my N6 onto my Chromecast, I just get a green screen. My whole tv screen just turns green, the only way to fix it is to disconnect my phone.
Only happens if my was to screen cast, but everything else works (Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.)

OK so I've been really busy with finals coning up next week, but I tested GTA San Andreas and it works great on my Nexus Player. I used the controller from the play store and it functions perfectly. You can install it directly without needing to sideload it. Just goto the play store in chrome and hit install then choose Nexus Player.
Here are some pictures of it on my TV:

Screen casting also works on slim as that was the first non stock that fixed the green screen... That is mandatory for me as I use Kodi all the time .... What used to be xbmc
