Some of us have benefitted from the Chinese radio from the XT883 very useful. Also changed my am/pm sign on the lock screen to Chinese lol. That was caused by the build.prop though.
What brought you to choose this phone over the others?

I feel you. I ended up doing that. Though honestly I probably wont be on there at all. I always ask for a dl first cuz I don't wanna waste bandwidth and database space making an account I'll prob never use, lol.
How would I continue to use this when say cm7 comes out or any other rom? Would I drop the animation.zip into /data/local or the contents of the animation

How do you restore the stock one? I did a backup,but when I try to restore using CWM it stops and I get a message saying,"error restoring system," and it stops the restoring process.

Beats the Red Eye
Easy as pie install and far more attractive that the evil red eye (that somehow makes me feel like Verizon is watching me.)

There are numerous screenshot/capture apps on the market... if youre running ICS you can screenshot on the D3 by simultaneously pressing and holding the volume - & power button for a couple seconds.

He doesn't need to support any bootstrap really...no rom does...if it works through bootstrap it works in safestrap too everyone.

As everyone knows that Droid 3 is a global phone but i still have a question
If i go to another country and im not going to use Verizon anymore. Im gonna change my network using Gsm in my country. do i have to buy unlock code ? Do i have to do anything with that or i can just go back and insert different sim card and it works ?

I've emailed them several times to tell them that they need a demo if they are going to charge that much. I'm not necessarily against buying it, but at that price, I prefer to know what I'm getting for my money first.

I was talking about putting a trial version on the android market, not xda. Most Android users don't know about xda.

From what I understand SPB was sold to another company - right now they have their version of SPB Shell out (Russian lang only) - and it's freeware. My guess is if you wait a little longer the English version will be out - and thus cost nothing.
