[Q] Power Consumption Exceeds Supply - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

I frequently receive a notification pop up indicating something like, "that the device power consumption currently exceeds the supply. Please plug in."
I take care to exit unused applications, etc, but this still occurs. In fact, I have tried rebooting to ensure nothing is left running in the background. Oddly, it occurs EVEN WHEN PLUGGED INTO THE CAR OR USB outlet... Most often this occurs when I'm using the device for navigation, so GPS, and DATA will be on. The notice has also popped up during other applications. It has happened when using LTE but also when LTE is disabled.
Is this something that everyone is experiencing? If you are, can you please post your Service provider, your SPECS, any mods, or if you have made any progress in stopping it. Lets see if we can track this down.

That's strange. I've never seen a message like that. It doesn't sound like something native to Android / Sense, do you have any battery monitoring / power control apps installed that could be giving this message? How long does your phone last on a charge if you don't plug it in?

I've seen that error before. I wasn't using the USB cable and charger that came with my phone and that cable was damaged in the USB socket. Have you tried other plugs?
Sent from my HTC Raider X710e using XDA App

The reason you are probably seeing that on car or USB charger is due to then not proving the right amount of power. If you have the screen brightness set high and using navigation it uses quite a bit of power. Most USB and car chargers usually only provide I believe a half amp where as most phones like a charger that users 1 amp.

Ive had that happen once when I was playing a really graphics intense game. I was over at a friends house and had it plugged into his computer to charge and was showing him how much better a game looked on my phone than his and it did that. I was using the 3 usb ports on the front of his tower, and he also had his phone and a headset plugged in that front hub as well, and since that hub is powered by one connection on the motherboard I just figured the 3 devices (mainly the 2 phones) were just drawing too much power at the time.

I have had it happen when I was playing a graphics intensive game while plugged into USB on my computer, but never when plugged into AC or car charger.

Thanks for the replies. Good to know it is not just my device.
Unfortunately, my problem has compounded. While I was using it last night, plugged into a USB in the car, it drained enough to shut itself down. I let it sit for a bit and tried to boot it up again. It quickly shut off again. I plugged it into the HTC wall charger over night. When I got up in the morning, it still wouldnt turn on. I tried pulling the battery, replacing it and plugging in again. The LED lights up orange for about 4 seconds, goes off and stays off. It wont turn on.
I left it plugged in for the day while I was out, and nothing. It still won't power up. I notice the battery is cold, further indicating to me that the issue is that it is not being charged at all (rather than a charged battery in a dead device).
I have tried two different USB cables and tried both the wall adapter as well as the computer USB port. Nada... Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a Holiday, so I think I will have to go to the store tomorrow and see if someone will be kind enough to charge my battery in a store phone for an hour or something...
Anyhow, once I get it running again, I want to avoid this in future. I currently have it Network unlocked, and Bootloader unlocked. I have installed CWM Recovery 5.5.0.4, and Rumrunner Beta 11. There was talk that a version of CWM Recovery was not allowing the device to charge while it was off. I am thinking that this is perhaps the culprit in my case. Although I thought that was for 5.0.2.7 (or something similar)?
Any input would be appreciated.

I would find someone with a vivid and try on it, maybe the battery is dead.

Make sure you have beta2 of the recovery which resolves this issue, I too have the Bell Raider and have yet to see this error. I'm running stock with bloat removed and rooted with beta2 recovery. Just go in the recovery if you do not see beta2 written in the CWM header you don't have the latest.

It looks like this is bang on. Apparantly computer USB ports for USB 1, 1.1 are minimum 200 mA with 500 mA recommended. Not sure about USB 2.0. Interestingly there is a proposal for USB 3.0 to allow for 20 Amps or more so you could easily power a laptop and other devices through a USB connection.
The HTC Holiday draws something more than 500 mA and presumably a max of 1 Amp as this is what the included HTC wall charger is rated for.
Anyhow, I guess I will have to pick up a new car charger, because the USB port in my car only pushes 500 mA max, and same for my current car charger.

I noticed that when I would remove and reinsert the battery with the device plugged in, the orange light would illuminate for about 4 or 5 seconds, then go off. In the hopes that this meant that the battery was charging for that brief period, I repeatedly removed and reinserted the battery for about 10 minutes this morning, trying the power button each time. It finally booted up. I turned the screen off and left it alone to charge. A few hours later I checked on it and it is up to about 1/3. Anyhow, putting that out there as a last resort if anyone else has a similar problem.

Thanks. After I let the battery charge right up, I will check that. (I don't want to tempt trouble by rebooting until I have finished a charge). I thought I had the latest version but maybe I borked something in the update.
jebise or other Bell Raider users: Were you able to use the ph39IMG method of flashing? I have had no success with it; I got an error that it was for the wrong type of device. I deleted the zip and used the next method listed in the superguide. However, now I get a series of errors relating to not finding ph39IMG when I boot into HBoot.
Thanks

if you use the fastboot method to flash the recovery, you dont need the PH39IMG. the 'error' messages you see when you boot into HBOOT is normal. every time you boot into HBOOT it looks for the PH39IMG.zip on your sdcard

PH39IMG.zip did not work for me had to use fastboot. As PG states its normal to get those errors, because it looking for PH39IMG.zip and can't find it.

Thanks for clarification on the "normal" errors I should expect. Im not a total noob, but feel like it, switching to HTC. I understand I can use the fastboot method and have done so. But do I have to? The PH39IMG.ZIP would be much more user friendly. So, why would I be getting an Invalid Device error with the PH39IMG.zip from the superguide post? Is it specific to the AT&T Vivid or something?
Anyhow, after all the problems I was having, I decided to wipe/factory reset and restore from a Backup made in CWM recovery right after installing Rumraider for the first time. I am just waiting for the device to reboot (has been on the HTC boot screen for about 10 minutes now... :-/

once you have done your recovery you dont need to do it again until you update the recovery with a newer version. its a one time thing, unless you relock stock RUU the device.
the ph39img.zip was configured for at&t vivid. you would probably need to modify it for any other holiday device.
if you are restoring from a backup, did you make sure and flash your boot.img from your backup first? otherwise you will be stuck at that HTC screen for a lot longer....just boot into HBOOT and flash the stock boot.img

Strange behavior charging the phone.

Hello.
I have my Vivid with everything working good, S-OFFed and rooted. I have a stock ICS rom which works fine for my needs. The thing is I never leave the battery to completely die, everytime the phone warning me about low battery, I plug the AC charger or just the USB cable to my PC and then charge the battery.
However last night I fell asleep and the battery went down to 0% and the phone turned off. Now it seems that the phone isn't able to wake up the battery. I don't know how, but the battery got like 1% of charge and the phone woke up. Once it woke up, it get the charge perfectly but I took off the charger to go to my room and then the phone turned off, it seems it could not stand with such a little charge. Now I connect it to AC or PC and turn on the orange LED by 3 seconds, then the LED turn off, then the screen goes from black (turned off) to grey (on, but showing no image) and the LED blinks on orange to green. In AC is the same, and in USB you hear the usb-on sound but in the phone the behavior is exactly the same.
Obviously the battery isn't getting an initial charge and that's why the phone never wake up.
Why is happening this? Is there a way to fix it?
Help please!
Try to borrow a friend's battery and flash a different recovery. When my phone wouldn't charge while powered down, it was because chargemode was broken in my recovery.

Yes but, any suggestion about a good and stable recovery?
You're 100% this thing is because of that?
Thanks in advance.
Nothing's 100%, but I had the EXACT same problem as you described. Worse, I didn't know anyone with a Vivid at the time, so instead I kept plugging it in and unplugging it, getting that one second of charge until I was able to boot the ROM and let it charge to 100%. It took forever.
I've been using WCX recovery since the first version WildChild released, I've never had a single problem since I switched. I don't think you can get it here anymore, though, you might have to find his forum (it's distributed with his ROMs).
Edit: Looks like the All-in-one tool in the Dev forum contains a WCX recovery you can flash.

The thing is I have no friend with an HTC Vivid. Is there a way with 2 wires and a 9v AC adapter to give some charge to the battery and then put it in the phone and then still charging from the OEM AC adapter?

I flash the WCX recovery, but I'm still having this issue. After flash it do I must do something? Like run the recovery or something?
Thanks.
Well, I would try to go into recovery to make sure the flash worked.
If you're running a working chargemode recovery and your phone still isn't charging while powered off, I don't know what the problem could be. Have you tried a different cable/charger?

Well right now I'm in the recovery and it says in the bottom:
Code:
RA Revamped

So I assume everything has properly flashed.
Beforeflash the recovery I've tried with several chargers.

[Q] Htc vivid stuck on splash screen, will not do a factor reset.

Hello, I've been using my htc vivid since about march last year, and I recently rooted it, flashed Kanbang and added wajee's desensed rom. Things have been going smoothly until recently, I attempted to change roms to xperiense (Also by wajee) and I'm now stuck booting up at the splash screen, I can access my boot loader, but I can NOT preform a factory reset, Please, if anyone here can help me I would seriously appreciate it.
If the recovery program is not showing then you need to clear the catch if the recovery still don't work try to reflash the recovery or even a different recovery . If that don't work relock the bl and run the stock ruu and start over , the hansoon tool kit makes this a breeze and you will be back where you where in a few minutes.
I can access the bootloader, and I forgot to mention that If I plug it in to my comp it does not seem to want to charge, it shows the light for about 5 seconds, then the capacitive buttons will vibrate if pressed, but nothing displays, I have to boot into the bootloader without it plugged in then plug it in.
Yea pull the batt and boot into hboot , then select fastboot plug the phone then it should say fastboot USB , running the ruu will fix any errors you have so you can start fresh ....just remember never pull the plug while the ruu is running .
Well, Thanks for trying to help, but the batter will NOT charge and is dead, I'm ordering another OEM battery soon, Thanks for the help but I've read and this actually appears to be the problem, again thanks you for trying to help.
No problem , if ya need anything don't hesitate to ask here someone can always help out .
Are you sure the battery is kaput? Have you tried charging it with a wall charger? HBOOT doesn't support charging BTW, and USB won't charge unless the phone is ON and in the OS (or in TWRP recovery which DOES support charging).
Pull the battery and leave it turned off, then plug in the wall charger. You should get an orange LED and presto, it's charging. See if you can power up after an hour or two. If it spends two hours on the wall charger and still isn't charging, then it's either A) your battery, or B) Your charge port. I had the charge port die on my blackberry torch. Thought it was the battery too until I borrowed one from a mate and swapped things around.

Thanks for the offer but I have a bro with the same phone who lives nearby so I'm going to see if I can borrow it tomorrow for a few minutes, if it works, my new batter is in the mail, if not, I'm going to talk to at&t and see if I can get the phone replaced.
It keeps claiming I have the wrong version (The Ruu) any chance of a link to the most up to date one?

[Q] HTC Vivid won't charge or turn on

As the title says, my HTC Vivid won't turn on, charge or anything. The orange light that says it's charging doesn't turn on, buttons don't vibrate or anything. It shouldn't be bricked because I haven't done anything to brick it. I was using Xbox Smartglass on it, I locked the phone and went back to my game, about 15 minutes later I tried to unlock it and it did nothing. The battery shouldn't have been dead because I charged it the night before. Any suggestions or help please?

LOL The reason I got a Vivid is because he gave it to me. Sadly, I was hoping there would be a technical solution instead of trying a new battery. I've got one ordered though. :/
Some have bad batteries.
Mine started doing the same thing. For a while I thought the battery life on Vivid was horrible compared to the Aria I had at the time. Then it progressed and one day finally quit completely and would not take a charge from any charger I had. So, being a techhead I decided to probe the battery with a multimeter and it showed very little voltage, so low I guess the charger wouldn't even recognize or try to charge it.
So what I did was take a battery charger I had for a walkie talkie radio and touched the leads to the battery for 3-5 seconds or so, put battery back in phone and it would then charge. I did this a few times until I could get to ATT store and the guy ordered a new one through warranty. Haven't had a problem with the Vivid since.
Same Problem
Last night I pulled my battery at 21% after shutting the phone off to clear the memory. I put the battery back in and put it on the charger, I tried to turn the phone on and nothing. It is not showing that it is charging. I have four batteries for this phone and none of them will turn on the phone. I am at a loss here. The phone was working fine until i shut it down and removed the battery. Any ideas on what is causing this or any way to force it to turn on.

That sounds like a royal pain.
Could it be the changer or its USB cable? Work some contact cleaner into the power button?
I'm having this same issue. I'm not sure if it's the battery, since the phone boots to bootloader just fine. But the battery won't charge when the phone is off (red light comes on for a second, then quits) and I can't get past the HTC screen booting to ROM or recovery. Where is a good place to buy a battery?
Even if the power button was bad the phone should still charge a battery. I have a charger that will charge the batteries without the phone so I know the batteries are charged. I have several different chargers and none of them will show the phone charging. I even tried connecting it to my computer. The phone is dead, I guess I am going to have to crack it open and see if anything has come loose inside. I really like this phone and am going to hate loosing it. I paid a lot for this phone. That shinny penny I paid to get this phone was my favorite.
Have you tried plugging the phone USB into a desktop and using that to try rebooting the phone into bootloader or recovery?
Hasoon2000's Vivid All-In-One Toolkit in the dev section can do that pretty simply. i used an earlier version of that to unlock the phone a year and a half ago.
i don't remember if the phone has to have debugging turned on for the desktop to feed it commands.
Even if this works i dunno whatall it'll prove.
i like this phone too a lot, and am sorry yours seem to be having hardware problems.

The phone does not turn on at all so getting to the bootloader is impossible. It does nothing. Does not even charge a battery. .

That's the definition of a bricked phone, was what i meant. No screen, no led, no button function, no sign of life, and from no explicable cause.
Android phones don't have real on-off switches that directly disconnects the phone from power. Its failure to manifest signs of life doesn't absolutely indicate irreversible hardware failure. There's a bit of a chance it's firmware.
Aside from the power button, Android phones can be controlled thru the USB port.
I took your advise and plugged the phone into the computer and left it over night. This morning I rebooted the computer and the phone screen lit up. I got all excited and tried to use adb to reboot into bootloader, Of course the phone was not found. I took the phone off the cord and the screen shut off. I pushed the power button and the screen lit up. Let go of the power button and the screen goes off. I tried another usb cord and now the screen no longer lites up. Maybe there is hope for this phone.
If the screen lights up like that... there is power to it...
Sounds like you have dirt in your power button... or the button isn't making contact...
Time to disassemble and check the power button...

Yeah, that part where the phone was seen by the desktop, and then not, can have something to do with the Windows drivers. Most of the folks on these forums know what's with this stuff better than me; i usually have to tell windows to stop the hardware, disconnect and reconnect the phone USB and start the connection up again, every time before i do one set of commands, like put the phone into bootloader and download a kernel image into it.
There's a Vivid unbricking project over in the dev subforum, you must've seen that. Whether or not you get your phone working again, i hope it'll be a productive journey for you.
i was perfectly happy just messing with apps until i bricked my tablet; that got me into all this device unlocking and rom burning and fun stuff. It's too bad the Vivid isn't simpler to hack.

my phone cant boot to desktop after i flash the kanel please can you help me
9 times out of 10, if the phone will not turn on at all it is the battery. For some reason, the Vivid will occasionally stop seeing the battery. I have fixed this on mine when that happened by using an external charger. That worked because my battery was actually OK, the Vivid just wouldn't charge it or even see it. Once it was charged it was fine. If your battery really is dead (sounds like it might be the case), get a new battery. There is a 2000 mHr battery on Amazon that is not too much worse than the original (when new).
I had the same issue once, it turns out that I fixed it using a external charger

[Q] [PLEASE HELP] HTC One M7 not charging when on.

Device: HTC One (M7) Stock ROM
A few days ago, my never rooted, stock firmware, no unlocked boot loader, no custom ROM, never dropped HTC One (M7)'s battery died. Plugging in the charger had no effect, absolutely NOTHING. Tried 6 different cables and 9 different locations to charge it, nothing. Waited a while, dying in desperation. Then after so much of panic, I plugged it again, and randomly it started charging. But the charging had a loop - showed a bright orange LED with the power symbol on a battery for about 5 seconds, then a dim orange LED with the green battery charging, and a number, for about 10 seconds. The loop kept repeating. Eventually I could turn it on till the (incredibly low capacity) battery could live. So I did about 10 resets to it, and the situation would not improve.
Since my phone just decided to do this to me just before a long journey of mine, I was quite upset, and eventually infuriated to the limits. I decided to take it along and try different things to it - tried, tried, cleaned the ports, searched the net, nothing.
One fine day it decided to break the loop - now it charged, but only when off.
And today again its started the loop.
And here I am, begging for some help. I'm starting to hate this device now. Please help me.. :crying:
P.S. : I played a lot of Clash of Clans on the phone - it heated up a lot. Hope the info helps (Possible corrupted overheating charge instructions of the phone, etc.)
please help i love this phone cant lose this at all

I am having the same exact problem right now. its very annoying. I have to drain the whole battery to charge it again. and its in that loop that you mentioned. plus it does not charge when you put it on charge when its on. it doesnt even have that charging light. it only charges itself if its off and if there is no battery left, i have to put it on charge by draining the whole battery by using apps and stuff and i am so pissed right now i cant find a solution to this. Did you find a solution on how to get this fixed?
I am currently having a similar problem where I can only charge my phone if off. Hopefully someone can help!

I have found a solution to this. I am really happy since i am able to use my phone again.
Let me state what exactly i was going through.
I had to use the phone till it actually turned off completely consuming the whole battery and it was very frustrating because i had to deliberately use the phone till the phone shuts down and charge it. And once it started charging, it has a weird stupid way of charging. It shows that its charging and it goes off, comes back on and shows its charging, then it goes off... When it goes off the red light goes away...then comes back on.
I've read other threads and forums about people having the same issue. Others say they're not even able to connect their phones to the computer. You all should try connecting your phone to a computer and check if its able to transfer data.
If that happens, then you're saved. Because this really worked out for me.
Now, i'm not really sure what kind of bug this is, but here's how you fix this.
If you're able to transfer data to your phone, you must browse your phone on the computer and copy a file (or a couple of files - in my case i transferred a movie folder that had a couple files in it)
And guess what..i put it on charge and started charging like normal oh my god i was happy as hell
Thanks. I hope the same works for you all, people have been saying you have to clean the charging port but not really

I'm not sure how are you NOT able to get it connected to your computer. Since i connected it to the computer, it didn't start charging but it allowed me to transfer files. And so i did. You might wanna change the cable and check if its letting you connect to your PC.
So far its working perfectly alright. I don't have a problem as such. And wait, you could install a file manager and move a couple files around. Maybe delete some files or download some files and try.
I Hope it works for everyone who's getting this problem. I know its not a hardware problem and HTC support sucks BIG time. i don't even have htc headquarters so i couldn't get it replaced, bad. but if your phone is under warranty you must get it replaced

Hi! so you are saying that if i move some files from the computer to the phone it might get fixed? Well, i cant plug it to the computer, it just doesnt recognize the phone, if i plug it when the phone is on the pc doesnt show anything and the phone doesnt charge or anything, just like when trying to charge it with the ac charger, if i plug it with to the pc with the phone off then it shows a message that doesnt recognize the device, and the phone doesnt even charge aswell...
Right now the only fix i have found is to solve the problem of having to drain the battery in order to charge the phone, now i fixed it unticking the fastboot option in energy, now i can charge with any % but the phone must be off. Btw it gets a lot of heat while charging it this way... idk if its normal, i heard that because the aliminium case it gets more heat than normal plastic cases.
Thanks for your reply, ill try to connect the phone to the pc a few more times.
Hello guys , , I have the same problem , charging the M7 (On stock rom), I have tried many things ,roms and kernels , currently I managed to make it charge with the screen on with some conditions..
I installed SLIM ROM from their site (4.4.4) . To charge the phone with screen on I have to check "screen on while charging" (because if the screen goes off it stops charging /same thing if somebody is calling me )
To Charge my phone I just need to Reboot normally and charge it ( if you install this rom Activate the sound for the ac plug/unplug so you can know if it is charging well or not )
Eaven if i have to do these things its better then the OFF mode .
Hope It helps .
HTC M7 Only charges when it's off and the laptop can't recognize the device.
Hello, I've had this HTC M7 since last year. It's worked perfectly until a couple days ago.
The phone will not charge when it's on. It only charges when it's off. Also, my laptop won't recognize the device. I've tried with a couple different AC chargers, but no luck.
Sometimes my phone says "CAN'T CHARGE WHILE IN USB HOST MODE," and I don't know how to take it out of USB Host mode? I'm guessing this is a problem with the software. Before this happened the phone worked flawlessly.
Any help, please??!!

It can sometimes be caused by a defective usb port on the phone, does your port looks damaged? Boot your phone in safe mode and check if its doing the same thing.
I've already done that and it doesn't work.
I really don't know what the issue is? I mean this is a perfectly working unlocked HTC M7.
I've turned if off multiple times and even wiped it clean twice. I don't know what else it could be.
I mean it's been working perfectly since I got it.
But as I mentioned earlier it will only charge while the phone is off. And my laptop can't recognized it either.
It only appears and "Unknown Device."
But even when it is off it charges for a bit and then it completely stops.
Then you see the battery logo and then it starts charging again. But it repeat that same process throughout the whole time. So, it can never reach to 100%.
As I've mentioned before I've never really had this problem.
I've been looking for hours on the internet and so far nothing seems to work. There was an app I saw on to access engineer mode or something, but for some reason I can't use that app because it says that I'm missing another application.
Any thoughts??

I have the same problem, it can't charge, PC don't recognize when the phone is on android, but when i boot into recovery everything work fine (charge or data move to PC), so far i could't find any way better.
Hi,
had same problem.
Clearing system cache helped in my case.
Related cause for the trouble seem to be a couple of OTA upgrades I did recently.
(I was on a pretty old version.)
I noticed that there was something wrong while upgrading.
Even though the phone was connected to the charger while the whole upgrade process,
battery level went down...
The following procedure is your own risk!
Be careful not to choose any options that wipe all your data or factory reset your device.
This is how I cleared the system cache :
Boot into recovery (hold both volume-down and power buttons for ~30 seconds until menu shows - )
Press volume-down to choose RECOVERY and press power button.
Be patient ~60 seconds until menu appears.
Choose wipe cache partition and press power button.
Choose reboot system and press power button.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks

Really Odd Issue

Alright, I noticed about 3-4 days ago that I was waking up in the morning to almost no charge gained on my phone. I figured my computer turned off or something and my phone just didn't get charged via the USB port. I've now realized that when using specific USB cords (Only one out of 5 that I have works without this issue at the moment), my phone charges for about 5 minutes and then goes into this weird mode where it displays the clock time as a screensaver sort of screen and it stops charging my phone WHILE being plugged in.
As soon as I unlock my phone, I see a steering wheel icon at the top left in my notifications that says my phone is in car mode. Before I can pull down to see what it is or go into the menu settings to see if I can disable it, it turns off and disables again. I went through my ROM toolbox and found no signs of "Car" or "Car Mode" applications installed since I remember seeing "Car" in most rom installations.
It's becoming very frustrating because most times, I plug in my USB cord and my phone begins to charge and then 2-3 minutes later it just stops and goes into that mode. Sometimes it's instant and sometimes it won't work at all. I don't think it's an internal phone problem though because I have a cheap USB cord I found in my closet that is flawless and doesn't bring me this issue.
What could this be? Is my HTC One on it's last legs or what? I don't have my upgrade for another year so I'm really hoping this isn't too serious. The USB cords I do own are in great condition and wouldn't all suddenly stop working at once, so I see no reason to blame those. If anyone is wondering, I'm using CyanogenMod 11 right now, but this is a fresh installation and previously was using a very stable ARHD 6.1 GPe ROM. I also don't think the rom's I'm using have anything to do with it.
I don't know much about this stuff so I'll just leave some other information if it's needed. I have the SuperCID thing done, my phone is rooted and my bootloader is unlocked obviously along with having S-Off. I'm also using TWRP's latest version.
Any help would be really, really appreciated...
Also, to add onto what I said about the screensaver/car mode:
When I unlock my phone while being plugged in and the car mode turns off, my phone doesn't go back to charging unless I un-plug the USB cord and re-plug it in. This is when it usually begins to stop charging seconds after putting it in.

It may be a kernel problem, try a different ROM.
Also try cleaning the USB port with compressed air.

I've been researching it and found a few similar issues and apparently there's no fixes for it. I'm more or less stuck with this for another year until my upgrade. There's a small fix for it but it's a pain in butt to remember:
I have to turn my HTC One off, plug it into the USB for charging and then turn it on and it'll charge correctly.
I've also noticed a major decline in battery life as well. I went from 78% to 71% in 10 minutes a bit ago. Really disappointing seeing as how I've already done so much to this phone I probably couldn't even sell it let alone have a conversation with HTC about it since I've killed any kind of warranty for it so badly.
Damn damn damn damn damn.

Well, if u still got warrany and the phone is working, u can still claim warranty by going back to full stock.

I've had the phone for over a year and I don't have warranty. Would there be a manufacturer warranty for this?
I guess this issue isn't fixable and I'm just screwed. Any suggestions how I could get a new phone without an upgrade for a good deal or something? God damn it.
