Hello. Has anyone tried this battery?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLD-2430MAH-EB494353VU-BATTERY-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-MINI-/250880402856?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a69a325a8?
Is dangerous to test batteries like this? If it's not, maybe I'll buy it :3
Most people who buyed one sad it is not better than the standard battery but i havent try it on my own!!

Description says equal size like stock battery.
But double capacity!? Am i right that stock battery has a capacity of 1250mAh. I don't rember exactly size at the moment.
That would be double than stock at equal size! Is that possible?

agree with you. its kindda fishy when they sell it on e bay. If it is true, I am sure Samsung themselves will sell it to their customers first~ Or even IF it is true, it might cause unseen damage to the phone eh?~

It cannot damage anything as long as voltage is the same as original battery.
not good
i have used these battery myself
the biggest mistake of my life that i bought this battery..
though it,s written 2430mah battery.. but it,s worse then the stock battery that comes with the phone,,
more over this battery stoped working just after 20 to 25 days after 1st use...
total loss...
then i put the stock battery in my phone,
if any improvement u want,, try simple 1500mah battery.. i have heard that they are bit better than the stock battery...
i,m warning all of u.. not to but this one...
i wish i could post the link here but xda won,t let me,, coz i,m new,,,,
not fair..
give it a try, and tell us if that's work

I think it is better to buy 2 stock battery rather than using a double capacity that might break your phone.

If that battery really had that capacity, it would be really really expensive... beacuse it's so cheap it looks like a fake. I would only go for branded and CE certified batteries. After all, i think the stock 1200mAh battery is just fine for our small Mini . If you need more capacity, go buy another one and when your first battery goes empty replace it with the second one

well you know, OEM battery price is about $30, why so expensive? perhaps samsung talks about quality which placed on battery.
well, you can buy it to vanish your curiousity, then give it personal review to us
I'm not preventing you to buy but i believe something bad will happen to our SGA using that battery

More details pls..How long does the battery last?
Usage pattern?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-1500m-...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item4165e43896
I have been using these batteries for about 4 months now and I must say I'm pretty impressed. The battery life is a bit better than the OEM battery and it comes with three and a wall charger.
Im hvg this flickering screen symptom right after my phone drop at 50% of battery. It will suddenly shut my phone off if i continue using it. And the worst part is, i cant turn it on until i charge it again. Any ideas?

Usually this happen when the battery isn't original.

it could happen with any battery if quality is not good or diminished. I think so at least Check your battery, does it look out of shape?
You could try a friends battery, or an alternative rom could also be another issue.
You can also experiment with the power saving features to turn them of.
Uninstall if any, power saving apps/ screenfilter apps.

Doesn't the warranty on batteries last for 12 months ? Why not get Samsung to replace it if it fails withing that time frame.
Then again, For the price of one, Is it worth all the aggro of sending it to Samsung, Waiting, Waiting some more, Then having it sent back ?
They do go pretty cheap online, And the Anker 5000mah are worth considering (except the size increase)

As they're classed as consumables I believe warranty on batteries is only 6 months, but I think it would be great if we could somehow make samsung aware of how short the battery life is on these, maybe some sort of petition.

Obviously the battery is faulty. Is it a genuine Samsung one or one of those cheap Chinese knock-offs ?. Dont use the battery again or you may destroy your phone next time.

Even the best aftermarket batteries usually reach the OEM capacity only, unless they are larger. Those for low prices are more likely to have lesser capacity, especially if from Ebay and produced in China. Regardless what of is written on the label, real is something like 30 - 50 % lesser juice.. As a backup they are fine, but don't hope for better than OEM.
