hi
it is possible to write ROM from SD Card ??
Yes it is, if you have the backup rom on SD card. Enter bootloader with sd card inside the device and it will ask you whether or not to flash the rom.
i don't have backup on SD Card
why do you need to use SD flashing? this was primary designed for emergency purposes, it makes physical rewritement of all parts of ROM (could be compared with complete format of your pc, not just quick format)a and new initialization
of course, you must have SD card to take backup from - this is easy to create with various tty clients, the most used for it is mtty (putty and others could be also used)
I need to flash my harmer from sd can you write how do it??
I dont have backup on sd can make for me thiece backup and send me on mail or something like thiece ?? My harmer stop on splash screen i was flashing on cid locked maschine :|
- I tought that a SD backup was needed, and yes it is. But u can use your own phone and your own SD to do it.
2- Get a clean SD card (in qtek 9100 / Htc Wizard case is MiniSD) with 128MB (some people say 64MB, but I personally used a 128MB, maybe a 64MB is enough)
3- Kill (task manager) wescomm.exe (this is related with activesync installed on your PC). Insert the blank SD card on the phone.
4- Get your phone in bootloader mode. Like this : Phone powered off, press Camera button + Power On, will enter in bootloader mode (RGB screen).
5- Now connect your USB cable to your phone. And start MTTY_updateROM.exe (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/uploads/romupdate.rar). After open, on Port selection, choose \\.\WCEUSBSH001 and press OK. A window will open with a blank sheet.
6- Type "r2sd all" and hit enter... wait to the end (at end shows "cmd>"). On your phone screen u can follow backup progress... small bar will appear down the RGB screen.
7- Power off the phone (or remove battery), enter bootloader mode (camera button + power on) and this time RGB won´t appear right away. Will ask if u want to "download SD image", press voice dial button to agree, and writting will begin. Wait to the end. Power off and power on normally. Now your phone should be working ok. Not even needed to reflash the phone after this.
Thanks to all and hope this helps more people with this problem""
In Wizard forum Ozzy give me thiece solution
I screw my Wizard....
Hi,
Im really new to all this, and... in a few words, I screw the registry of my Wizard T-Mobile, and now it doesn't boot, I can enter to the rgb mode, and, I understand that flashing from SD can help me, but, the steps described above are for restore a backup or make a backup ? Im so confused
Thanks in advance.
UPDATED: It worked great! but... just one thing, The SD is not reconigzed by my phone, is any way to format it from the Multi-Port/USB TTY ?
Regards.

I did all that you said (backed up to SD card, then restored to SD card successfully), but the problem still remains (obviously).
Is there anywhere I can simply download a 'clean' image file specially formatted for SD cards?
Hi, PLZ HELP ME! i just have run the Hard-SPL v1 on my xperia x1, and it was all fine, but then, i Used the KovskyAdvancedRUU (Task29 mode) in order to fix broken sectors of internal memory, and the process ended OK... but my X1 have restarted, and now,i dont go further than de "Sony Ericcson" screen when i shut it on.... If i go to the BOOT screen, It just stay in the "colours" screen.. (I have the Micro SD whit the ROM named kovsimg in my device.... so, PLEASE HELP! im kind of newie....
ALso, i just have formated the Micro SD card into FAT32, and have the room in the root...
You have done all things correctly until now.
1. Can you check your ROM name at your PC whether is 'kovsimg.nbh' or 'kovsimg.nbh.nbh'? (Correct name should be only one .nbh) I guess you renamed it to double .nbh already.
2. After confirm the ROM name is correct, remove the battery and insert memory card.
3. Put back the battery then press the volume button down, and power button together and HOLD BOTH BUTTONS UNTIL TRI COLOUR SCREEN APPEAR
4. If your ROM name is correct then it should start installation.
Hope this works for you..
HAve done it like 4 times... i checked and everything was allright... i tried with 3 different micro sd and nothing happened.... At the end, i just bored of triyng with the micro sd, and installed the rom with the cellphone connected to the pc (using the RUU kovsky)... but still dont know what goes wrong with the SD....
have you pull out the usb cable from pc when in the boot screen (after you finished perform task29)?
Followed instruction with using Y cable to downgrade SPL. Tried numerous SD cards with no luck. I only get to the Enter USB Host Mode..and that's it. Stock Image on SD, tried a few formats, a few cards, a few USB ports. Anyone have any ideas on what to try next. *As I read it, no goldcard needed with SD going from 5.X down.
Thanks.
TMOUS HD7, (Startech Y cable, Generic USB card reader, Sandisk Card)
Followed this:
download NoDo or Pre-NoDo Shipped ROM from here.
extract RUU_Signed.nbh
rename RUU_Signed.nbh to SCHUIMG.NBH
copy SCHUIMG.NBH to SD card
insert SD card into Card Reader
plug USB Y Cable's power connector to PC
plug Card Reader into one end of the USB Y Cable
plug HTC Schubert into remaining end of the USB Y Cable
boot Schubert into USB Loader Mode, not Bootloader
how-to: hold Power, Volume Down, & Camera button(s)
a. device should now detect SCHUIMG.NBH
b. device may reboot several times (about 6x)
return to XSPL Tutorial's Step #5, here.
Had same problem, After step 9, press camera button again and and watch screen. You mite have to do camera button couple of times till it starts.

cool, will give it a try. doesn't seem like it's sticking but who knows. thanks for the heads up.
Also i used 4gb micro card with adapter and card reader. Rom file that bought phone
back to bootloader was RUU_Schubert_TMous_1.20.531.01Radio_5.51.09.11a_22.31.50.09u_by_Ansur Changed name and it loaded perfect, only rom i found that worked. Then you can change bootloader and install any rom. You have to try several times like me and do not worry you will not destroy phone.I have tried about 6 roms after changing bootloader and have no problem with phone. Just remeber very time comsuming and you have to have a lot of relaxed moments OK Forgot camera button is not sticking that is what starts the file downloading in you phone press and watch screen and you will see it change
I was flashing 2.36 into my phone with odin, and unfortunately if failed. Therefore, I unplugged it and took out my battery, afterwards the phone won't start in any combination of keys!!!!Just a balck screen even when charging, WHAT should I do to fix it????
Someone help me pls??
Long press powerbutton
1 Try to press the power buton for a longer time,
2 Try to get back in download mode (Home button, Volume down together and press Powerbutton.
I did a lot of things with my 9000 and sometimes i was also afraid.... but i still use it.
You could try a jig from dealextreme or ebay if buttons don't work. A jig is considered fool proof, if that doesn't work your hardware would be defect and you can't ruin your hardware through ODIN.

look in My Android Solutions
But First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power
button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....
Tips before Flashing:-
Backup all your important files, contacts, SMS, game data, images etc to PC or
Ext SD card. or make Nanadroid Backup If you have CWM
Backup your EFS Folder to PC or Ext SD card
Enable USB Debugging on Phone. Touch menu>Settings>Applications>Development>
Charge your battery to more than 50% before you attempt any sort of flashing.
Disable Samsung KIES when using Odin. Kill Kies.exe, KiesTrayAgent.exe, &
KiesPDLR.exe using Task Manager on PC
Use only ROM and solution for your model and Wipe x3
Take your battery out and hold on power key for 1 minute --
Then return the battery and press power + volume up + home key for 30 second ....
After that choose reboot ...
I hope it useful ^_^

Hi guys,
i came up with a temporary to unbrick LG G4 H811 , you just need a 32 GB SD card ( i used Sandisk 10 class) , the dump that i will link , and Win32 disk Imager, the SD card must low level formatted.
1- download this dump
http://www.mediafire.com/download/nkaarfueu161run/H811-10N-fulldump.zip
2- put the SD card in the PC and chose the dump file and write ( run as admin ):
3- put the sd card in the phone plug the battery and power on.
now you will be able to enter Download mode, the problem is that when you flash a firmware, it goes to the SD card rather than the EMMC memory. the Dump is included with TWRP recovery and an unlocked Bootloader, so if someone happens to know how to access or mount the EMMC memory that would be awesome
Guys this solution is for H811 bricked by Firmware downgrade, not for deffective devices (serial 505) which Bricked on there own
EDIT : if you can enter TWRP recovey , check if your EMMC memory is alive by typing in terminal : cat /proc/partitions
if you see both mmcblk0 and mmcblk1 , congratulations !! your EMMC is alive , if not , you can use the SD card as your primary storage and flash either a custum ROM or KDZ

Thanks for your efforts but this did not work for me. Maybe someone else will have better luck??
hard bricked my g4
I saw this post and jumped at the opportunity to try something different than what ive been trying. I will post back with results on whether or not this process was successful. I hope someone finds a permanent solution to this issue. All of my rom flashing experience comes from the HTC M7 (Sprint) which I found out extremely fast is a lot more forgiving. I flashed a rom to my G4 and as soon as I rebooted my phone wouldnt power on or show any signs of life although in device manager it shows the phone as a "port" then qualcomm 9008,,,,, Anyway, fingers crossed!:good:

Unfortunately I dont think this worked for me either. Unless there is something Im doing wrong.
Using a Sandisk Ultra 32GB SD Card with a Sandisk reader to put into the computer, WinDisk32 and the image provided phone shows signs of life! My battery is dead but it is charging. It is now boot looping to Secure Booting Error - Error Code: 1006. I will get a real charge on the battery now and then play around. Thanks for this!
Unfortunately it will not stay on the Download Mode long enough to do anything. But at least there is life.
This got me on the right path and I did fix it like this. I downloaded the H811 V20o dump from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/unbrick-lg-g4-h815-9008-qualcomm-t3452853) Link to file here Link .
After I did this I booted up to download mode but would not get a USB connection (go figure) so I booted to TWRP and flashed the Bootloader for H811 20i and the Boot from Here.
After I rebooted this allowed me to boot in Download mode with a USB connection. Once I saw that I removed my MicroSD flashed the 20o KDZ and I was back up and running!
Hopefully this helps anyone stuck!

If you can boot off the SD card, plugging in the USB while the phone is off and holding VOL UP will get you into Download mode. If you need to get to recovery hold VOL DOWN + PWR until the LG Screen shows then briefly let go of PWR and hold it again. This will give you the normal recovery options, select yes 2 times to boot into TWRP.

Awesome, so I saw the recovery but after I select yes two times it just black screened. I restarted the phone by pulling the battery and tried imaging twrp to the drive. Did it again and it just restarted to that 1006 error after selecting yes twice.
Now, I have flashed everything that did work and nothing comes up kind of baffled at what happened might be my SDCard is doing something wonky so will have to check another card when I have time to go buy one.

Just to clarify. When the imager was done writing to the disk. Did you have an actual image or a folder with files that said image?
Update:
And as I type this I just flashed the singleimage.bin again and I am able to get into the Factory Reset page.
-----Old Post-----
Shows up as like an 86MB partition with 11.9MB free space.
Inside there is an "image" folder with around 178 files in it. This happens when I image either the singleimage.bin, the H811-10N-fulldump.img, or Dump_H811_1GB.img.
The H811-10N image used to work, as did the systemimage.bin. But now nothing I am flashing to the MicroSD is pulling up the phone.

Thanks for the quick response:good: How did you flash the single img bin? Was your phone on when you did that?
Ok so I did the following using the singleimage.bin file:
- Win32DiskImager > 32GB MicroSDCard.
- Eject the SDCard from Windows.
- Battery is out of the phone.
- Put the SDCard into phone.
- Put Battery into Phone.
- Plug Phone into Computer (not sure if this is necessary)
- Boot loop with Secure Boot 1006 error.
- Hold the Vol Down + Pwr until LG. Let off Pwr while still holding VolDown then press and hold Pwr till Factory Reset is up.
- Press Yes twice
- After this I see the Secure Error 1006 message faintly come up.
- Reboots to BootLoop, no TWRP.
It feels like I am missing something here. If anyone can correct me I would appreciate it.

Please use the 10N dump that i provided , clean your SD card using SD Formatter
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
and flash it with the 10N dump ( it has unlocked Bootloader )
