Just wanted to share all these with you guys. I'm not gonna be able to upload any screenshots because there are just too many.
Zip file contains:
144 WidgetLocker Themes
DISCLAIMER:
I did NOT make any of these themes and take no credit for them! These are simply themes that I have collected over time from around here on XDA and from other various websites.
*NOTE*
If you want to make your own theme, just edit the images in one of the zip files. Rezip and copy/paste to the folder mentioned above. It's really that easy lol.
If you don't know how to install these:
Download and extract the zip file.
Copy and paste all zip files onto your INTERNAL sdcard and make sure you put them in this folder:
Code:
/data/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker/themes
Once you do that, reboot and now you will have 144 WidgetLocker Themes available. Obviously though you have to have the WidgetLocker App for this to work. Which can be found here for only $2.99
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
DOWNLOAD:
WidgetLocker Themes
I will add more to the zip file as I get more collected.
Excellent Hicks!
There was a themes folder inside of the folder you posted. Do I just put all the zip files in that one or do I need to unzip and put the actual folders in that themes folder that is there?

There are hundreds of hosts, take your pick. I personally use rapidshare.
Thanks btw, I'd like these too.
Edit: (how big is the file? if you want you can email it to me and I can upload it, pm me if you do)
Download link please !!!

If someone wants to get it from there and rehost it.
My Drive
MegaCloud
DropBox
SkyDrive
Those are the links, please tell me which ones work or not, first time setting it up, just so I know I did them wrong
On another note I used AirDroid app to move them to the right directory, really easy and fast.

Ok so I am trying to get friend stream to work in the new fresh rom. I got the apk from damages rom along with the widget. In cmd I successfully push the apps /system/app/ after typing in adb remount. However after I reboot the app is not there. How do I get this to work? Also was wondering how to port a system app from a darchlegend rom to work on any other rom. Any advice is welcome.

Wont work, period. It needs an .odex for both the widget and the normal .apk for it to work in the latest release.

I was kind of hoping TitaniumBackup would give me this one...
I can't find the odex...
But I read from the other Hero forum that Friendstream may require an update package.
Mods, please sticky.
I'm getting tired of asking for APKs of stock files, so I have ripped apart the original system.img, and uploaded it to my MediaFire. This should contain all of the APKs from /system/app. Upon request, I'll rip some other ROMs apart and upload the apps from them onto MediaFire.
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=...0a80bbfd46652c42972c62268198c95645c60d3adceb4
You can also just download the slidemeroot.zip rom, which is everything stock and copy the apk's right out of the zip file.
But now you don't have to download the entire ROM for a single APK.
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App
I also have all of the stock apk's uploaded on my web server, but it's probably not a good idea to be redistributing them for anyone to download. Something about distribution of copyrighted works... etc...

It's the ROM. I believe I either unyaffs'd or flashed, and pulled before booting the first time. I just re-unyaffs'd again to make sure, and yes, most, if not all, apps go have an odex.

We'll see what happens, but, like I said, I doubt the mods would ask everyone to remove their cooked ROMs containing any APKs.

Download one of the stock/ota roms. They're in the system/media/audio folder.
How do I unpack the IMG file inside the zipfile?

Ok here is one of my all time favorite themes, NexTheme!
This is for CM7 posted at 6/1/11 - 10:40PM in the CM7 thread.
Currently it's only the Framework, SystemUI and Settings. (which themes most of the phone)
I will be going through and theming the apps later this week (crazy busy at work this week but I'm trying to have the apps done by the weekend). If anyone here has seen my work on the OG Droid you will know I'm very detailed and have added quite a bit that the original theme did not have so stayed tuned.
If you find anything missing please let me know so I can update it, (not the apps of course at this point). Oh yeah I threw some old school animations in it as well.
As always please make a backup just in case.
This is a .zip file and installs like any other .zip, just don't wipe when flashing.
Let me know what you think so far, good, bad or indifferent.

Saved for update.
And one more just in case.
Cool ill check it out. Thx

I will get some up tonight. But just so you know NexTheme is based off stock HTC.
working on one
i have a blue version and a purple version of "nextheme" that I am uploading righ t now. Hopefully I'll be able to post links and photos...
The way I "theme" is basically just the entire rom and the theme chooser to make it more complete. Seems like the theme chooser won't theme everything.
if anyone is interested....

Alright here it is. Pull whatever you want from it. Everything is here apps framework exct. You could take this drop it on your phone and flash it if you want.
The standard drop on SD card flash via Rom Manager.
But i would love for someone to just take the framework for system and apps and put it on a Tmobile theme engine.
Download here.

Since LG won't release ICS, why not skip ahead a bit and start adding Jelly Bean stuff to GB. Attached are some of the things you can use right away. You must have root.
If you don't follow these instructions properly, it's not my fault if you screw something up. Best to make a nandroid backup before you proceed, mmkay?
Boot animation:
Copy to /system/media, permissions 0644. Might look a little weird since it's 640x640, but you can't have everything on the first day JB's released
Play Store:
Install, done. Or, copy to /system/app, permissions 0644.
It's for US, so not all of the changes will be here. Most notably, you can't buy movies out of US yet (the option will not be there).
Fonts:
Extract the fonts, copy to /system/fonts, permissions 0644, rename to DroidSans.ttf (rename the original to DroidSans.ttf.bak or something) or symlink it to DroidSans.ttf. Do the same for the bold and italic fonts.
Added both Roboto and RobotoCondensed, as well as some more. You can only use Roboto or RobotoCondensed at any one time, you can't have your cake and eat it too
Wallpapers:
Extract them, paste them somewhere, open in gallery, set as wallpaper.
Now, doublecheck your permissions. Failure to set permissions correctly may result in bootloops.
After all that, reboot to enjoy.
PS. All of the zips are not flashable zips, don't even try flashing them.

The bootanimation.zip goes in "/data/local"

My boot animation.zip is in system/media.I have seen both used ..I'm curious now which would load if I put a diff in each spot...might have to try..
Update: the answer is local/data loaded boot animation when there was one in each spot...however the actual jellybean animation is loading but not displaying right for me ....just some graphics flashing for a sec then black screen til boot...same happened when I replaced file in system media. I think zip is corrupted.

Yes.. First, decompile your framework-res.apk and then overwrite the files on framework-res.apk with the files from the zip and recompile it after they are replaced.. And then put the modded one back..
