[Q] What kernel and rom?

What is the best kernel and custom rom for me? I have an xperia x8 and need one that can support dual touch as my screen is cypress. I'm currently on stock kernel with gingerxperia v13.
Which kernel is the fastest and best for playing games etc. and that can also support dual touch?

gengerxperia v20 it`s very good

GingerXperiaRay v3 with nAa-08 kernel ...
Works great ~

I use alfs kernel + gingerdx v21...its very fast and stable...but the phone itself cant go superfast...put only what you need and it sould be allright!!!!

and you don't have problems with ext partition or app2sd in alfs kernel?

GINGERXPERIA v21+Alf v06+Swap+Optmizer+Odex=speed and smooth

I also use GinderDX with ALFS kernel, but I think I'm going to change it for something more stable.

I recently changed to froyopro v2.2 whit alfs v6 kernel,and i can't believe how fast it is,and stable of course!Reaaly recommend you to try!

app2sd works fine for me! ext partition dont know though....

I am using S-rom V008 with nAa V09 + odexed and runs very smoothly. 729 max, 245 min. Smartass V2 with bfq i/o scheduler.

gingerxperia v25 especial edition with nAa kernel v10 .......very fastttttt........

I'm using MiniCM + nAa kernel, and they do nice at the moment.

alfs 06 for gingerdx + gingerdx 21 obviously

anyone have Froyo ROM for xperia x8 with nAa v10 kernel,because gingerbread can't install and play HD or 3D game..

You have this and this Froyo ROM that work on custom kernel. I havent used them but it seems that they wont work on NaA kernel, only on LDX and Alfs.

On mini cm.2.1.8 and gingerdx games work werry g00d.For me games work better on gingerbreds (2.3.7) roms.

Hd games you can playing on any rom.For me the best rom is gingerdx v22 alfs 007 ics kernel with libs,good for gaming is also mini cm 2.1.8.

Try GingerXperiaRay v04 it's faster than minicm.

@droidx8 : i use gingerxperiaray v004 but can't play HD or 3D game, can u tell me how to mod gingerxperiaray v004 can play HD or 3D game ( tutorial )..

The same xperience like mine b4... just use Chainfire 3D and swapper 2. Download Chainfire 3D, install and download its plugins. Choose PowerVR libs, as it is faster. For Swapper 2, install and set setting: set swap 128, and swappiness 10. There you go...

especially Odex,SuperCharger and E15i Optimizer
and of course overclock
Ps:with MiniCm 2.1.9 or gingerDX(alfs)
as minicm and GDX are best stable smooth rom(my point of view)

Test done without killing any apps, and without turning airplane mode on and without overclocking and swap. Smooth...
edit: don't know why but there seem to be errors when i upload the screen. Anyhow, my score is....1600 (exact), low because of ram (using some apps while testing) and sd read&write (having the standard sd that came with the phone).

I have stock kernel.
And for me
PrimeHD V6.0 tops the list followed by GingerDx V024 followed by GingerXperia , which in turn followed by Froyopro which again is followed by Froyobread. :O
People say LiuXperia is best for gaming. But haven't tried that out

wait wait wait. will it really work? you just downloaded normal alfs v08a and minicm7 2.2.0 and it is just fine?
I thought you should use nAa 11 for minicm7 2.2.0??
