I did, and it works great!
Only thing and I'd have to test further to be sure, but... I didn't see the Time Without Service show up on bonsai, but after I put this on it had the TWS 50% thing show up in battery use. I restarted and flashed my backup and the TWS went away. Now I don't see why or how a theme would cause this and it may have just been a coincidence.

You work so hard man, thanks for the continued great support. I am such a blue *****- can never get away from it, but this theme looks great.

Just downloaded and installed the new [ROM][ACS] SyndicateROM Frozen 1.0.1 (Madhouse) :: EXT4 - No CIQ/speed/battery :: 3/8 and installed this theme. So far no problems. Did a clean install with factory reset, wipe 3x's. Flashed the rom and booted 1st into the rom. Poweroff and installed the theme. So far I see no problems with data, phone, message. Have not tried email, but GMail works fine. Will do some more testing and will update the files. My theme does not make any chamges *.jar files so everthing should be ok. time will tell

Since my theme does not use any *.jar files I don't think tkere will be a problem. If I have time today I will do a flash with Bonsani and post what I find.

yes me too. very much. i like simple, dark, matted, unbeveled, farily monochromed themes.
if you could make sure the selection dots colors match the volume bar, etc colors that'd be great! like if you have a blue vol bar like you do, make the selection dots blue too. not green.

May I ask you, where is the notification bar image located exactly? I am trying to change mine to a specific look but can't find where in the fromework apk its located. U seem to know ALOT about theming. Could u tell me where the notification bar background png is located exactly? Thanks in andvance. !

Try again, I guess....I flashed both before uploading them and just to be sure I checked inside both just now and they included my edits. Make sure you're using edify with cwr 3.x....which im pretty sure everyone is using by now. If more people have problems, I'll try uploading them again.
jkat, be more specific. If you mean the status bar or the notifications themselves, they are in framework-res.apk. If you mean the quick panel, that's in twframework-res.apk.

I just downloaded my own themes and flashed them twice each, both worked fine...I don't know what to tell you...
Maybe my scripts are outdated or something, I'll try putting my themes into someone else's .zip tomorrow. Sorry it's not working as advertised (for some reason the first time I post a theme I always botch the first upload....)

i'm going to guess that jkat797 and i are running the latest of cwm 3 [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046905]
changing the updater-script from:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
to
run_program("/sbin/mount", "-t", "rfs", "-ollw,check=no,nosuid,nodev", "/dev/block/stl9", "/system");
worked for me.

I have tested this on SRF 1.1.1, Frankenstein and AnonymousRom V7 and it works perfectly.
Now Working on EC05 AND EE03.
There are two zips that can be flashed through clockwork *no wipes necessary*
One is just the icons and the other is a themed Touchwiz 3 launcher that only has the home button themed.

Really?? a lot of fc's? Or just certain apps? I only tested on Syndicate so I will test to get it to work on frankenstein as well.
You would have to delete any apps out of the system/app folder in that theme zip so they don't overwrite the current apps that are themed.

Yea it was swipe messaging & google framework, the framework stopped fc'ng after I got rid of juice defender

Just tested on Frankenstein... and it works great. Glad you got the fc's to stop though... it had to have been juice defender i guess.

AWEsome!!!...This brought back the simple clock.apk and myFiles.apk to replace Desk Clock and that annoying other file manager that was on SFR 1.1.1

It is not, no. TW3 with themed application button.
And it doesn't effect the battery icon at all. It's just themed icons and launcher

[Theme Release] - 'MURDER' for JT's Vanilla GingerBread 2.3.5 ROM

This was a challenge for me since I'm new to the Fascinate scene.. I've been theming Droid 1 roms for about 8 months now but the wife upgraded and wanted me to port my themes so she could run them still... Since I'm sure JT will be updating frequently, I decided to release it now even though I wanna invert the stock Mms.apk unless he adds that feature in.. I saw in a thread that a nexus Mms is working on this rom so I might just grab that... This is an update.zip so install it via recovery or rom manager... I did all the xml edits since this is vanilla and doesn't have any customization options yet so all you gotta do is install it and enjoy... ..
MAKE A BACKUP PRIOR TO MODDING YOUR DEVICE!.. I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU OR YOUR PHONE...
Installation instructions:
1. download the link(s) you want and move them to the root of your sd card or to a known directory.. also, if you installed gmail from the market, you need to uninstall that from data/app since the one I include goes to system/app..
2. either use rom manager to install rom from sd/choose the zip/wipe dalvik cache/let it do it's thing
3. or use the power off menu to reboot into recovery/wipe cache partition/go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache.. don't wipe data tho.... then 'install zip from sd/choose zip/find the zip you want to install/yes... repeat for any other zips minus the wiping... then reboot..

I have 9 full themes out and I plan on porting them all especially since the theme chooser isn't built in yet and I don't make those... I put a lot of time into what I do and I relealize not eveyone will like my style or colors but to those that do.. thank you and enjoy!.. Can I use the D1 themes on the fascinate? I really like the battery meter that looks like a gauge. Is that available? Once again, Great work.

Condemnedsoul here on xda made that battery gauge so he has links for it I believe..... thanks tho...

welcome to the fascinate.... and with themes that nice i hope you hang around.. great theme. i am on the nightlys now but i am switching to vanilla rom to flash this.

[APP] ICS Transparent GenieWidget with New Icons

Newest version added. Stock Icons, 50% Transparency. If you would like something different, 50% transparency with the other icon set or something like that, let me know and I'll get it done.
Grab the GW_STOCK_50_TRANS.zip and flash through recovery

Update: ICS Version Added...
Nothing new, just themed the version from the ICS port that's running around out there, just a new version number. I think that some of the colors from the tabs and stuff is a little different, but maybe not. Anyhow, grab GenieWidget(ICS).zip. The old ones for Gingerbread will work with ICS as well

Like many others, I've made GenieWidget News and Weather transparent - but, I've switched the icons, so it looks a little better. The app itself is not transparent, but the widgets are.... flash in recovery... blah, blah, blah.
Oh, and I'm not responsible for anything - ever - that might happen to your phone, your life, your family, anyone or anything that may or may not be connected to you as a result of flashing this zip. Enjoy!

If you're running a white or light colored background, I've added a new zip for that. white_geniewidget.zip. No other changes, just black text where it was white. Enjoy!

I tried pushing it through root explorer and tried the zip through recovery and both times the widget looked like this.

Hmmm. I just deleted the app from system/app and tried flashing the zip and still didn't work. I am running CyanogenMod 7.1.0.1 stable Nexus S 4G.

I'm going to try flashing that ROM tonight and I'll see what I get. I'l report back with my results!

So I flashed CyanogenMOD and then flashed the geniewidget zip. The image below is what I get. I'm running Nexus S 4G as well, so now I'm really stumped. Unless it has to do with the theme? How does the original GenieWidget look on your screen? If you'd like, you can upload it and I'll make that one transparent.

Theme Chooser themes sometimes effect transparent genie widgets. I've had that issue using a different version of trans genie with certain themes.
Currently running what's in my sig and everything is just fine.

Thanks for this and the music widget they're both great my only question is would it be possible to have a clear version with the stock icons? I don't care about the widget but I like the cartoon ones in the app.

That's probably what it is. I am running matted blues from the theme chooser. Man that sucks. I like having my news headlines on my homescreen. Oh well. Good job on the theming and keep it up. The community appreciates it.

I updated the OP with a new zip.. transparentgeniewidget_orig.zip.

I get installation aborted when trying to flash through recovery. Any ideas? These widgets looks great and I really want them on my phone

That sucks... Do you have Root Explorer or something similar? You can just pull the APK from the zip file and copy it to your SD card. Then use Explorer to copy the APK to the system/app folder. You'll need to fix the permissions and reboot the phone, but it should work after that.
In Root Explorer, long press the GenieWidget.APK after you copy it to system/app and pick Permissions. You want Read access for Owner, Group, and Others and then Write access to Owner. All other checkboxes should be unchecked.
Let me know if that is an option for you and if it worked, otherwise I may look at the ZIP and see if I can change it?

Thanks for the zip! Im running the ICS theme though so its not transparent for me (its transparent in the Cyanbread theme)

The theme doesnt effect the music widget oddly enough

ty, messed around with this and it makes my nexus s look great.

This widget works perfectly with the alpha Ice Cream Sandwich roms.

I added an ICS version to the OP. The old ones should work with ICS as well, but this is just the latest version of the app.
Music app is on it's way.
