dude gdx is for stock/alfs/linuxdx kernels. flash another kernel or another rom that are compatible (minicm 2.1.8 by nAa and nAa kernel).

You may try, but as some roms have their own particularity so has the kernels, and maybe features like WiFi, 3G, vibration and others may not work or get bugs. The better you do is to flash the Rom´s specific kernel, or stick with stock one with modules.

You can use LinuDX or Alfs kernel. With nobodyAtall's kernel wifi don't work in GingerDX
What are the best, and "nAa-09" is good? The roms already support "nAa-10"?
Install minicm 2.1.8,and naa v10 kernel. For me this the best combination, goog gaming performance

Ginger DX is very good, used it a long time, but want a little performance boost by changing the kernel. But I have a question, I searched but could not quite understand what is the bootloader and for serving, to use the nAa I need the bootloader?
Gingerxperia ....best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nAa 11 is not the same as alfs v8
it's just that now alfs (v8) <- is for cm7

They are both kernels, but uses different methods and different libraries, so no. They have got things in common, but they are not the same.
Well there are a lot of things the same but there are a couple of things different so i use alfs-08 but.... nAa is more used (dont know why?!)
I want to adjudge that ALFS v07 as well as V08 can run CM9 without problem.
I'm using Paul's ICS on ALFS v08 very smoothly
Even no problem in wifi also.
Everything is just as fine as with nAa kernel.
But the bassy sound is not present in ALFS v08.(one and only difference)
where can i find old version of naa kernel.?.the naa08...cause i need it for gingercrust rom.... thanks

try them both and then decide
If I switch the kernel when the ROM is installed on my device, will I lose all my data?

nope :good:
Hey, I have a problem flashing the nAa 14 kernel.
I have a nAa JB with the miniCM10 now.
I shutted down the device and flashed the kernel but when I turn off the X8, at the nAa homescreen, the led becomes yellow, purple and red and I cannot go into the recovery. The Xperia continues to reboot itself and doing the same thing all the time.
What should I do?

For GDX, use alfs kernel.
I tried it myself and its totally bugfreeg
