I got battery drain because i fully charged my cell lastnight and when i woke up says 75% , thats 3 night in a row
Rference Holiraider 1.5 with last holicakes kernel
Did you do a full wipe before installing the ROM? Are you utilizing any overclocking features of the kernel?
What are you using to charge your phone? USB or the included wall charger?

I switched to serendipity 5.10 from perception 10.4. I currently have speedmod and kp1. My problem is my battery. The very first time i flashed a rom I didn't do it on a full charge. I've tried the bump charge and deleting batterystats.bin file etc etc... Nothing helps. Could I have damaged the phone/battery for good? A full charge lasts about less than 8 hours with moderate usage. It was fully charged and I let it sit overnight off the charger and lost 12% by morning.

Um.. are you overclocking it? If you are that will kill your battery if your not tweaking your voltage settings.
I don't overclock my phone - so unfort I can't help you with under volt settings, etc.
If you think your battery was broken after flashing - you can test this theory. Flash back to stock - charge up the battery then run as normal and see if you get a normal usage then you know it's the ROM (*) and not your battery.
Actually no I haven't done anything with over or unclocking. I did try that before with stock and it was the same. And I did get another battery also so its the phone not the battery. I guess i just have to live with it

Usually doing 2-3 charging cycles does the trick (fully deplete battery and then charge until full).

I'm using MiniCM7 on top of his kernel and no bugs for me except battery.. If battery reaches 15% phone will shut down soon... battery will drain in few moments and battery icon will get into "drained icon" (that red one with x in the middle)...
I connected my charger and phone is not charging... But, I didn't realized that...
Offline charging works for now and we will see
I think battery stats wipe will solve it.... I just have wiped it.. but battery is ****...
Phone is now exactly one year old... I hope it just was my fault because I rearly fully charge my phone...
Anyone had similiar expiriences? I don't trust my battery now....
Try with your stok kernel and rom

Hi,
Off later my mobile's battery has stopped charging to 100%
It started while I was using the Paranoid Android ROM and I thought it was due to some kernel issue. However, post that I have flashed other ROMs including the stock ones but the issue remains.
I had installed Android Tuner and it showed that battery is in good health and the scale is 100%
Has someone faced similar issues? Please share solutions if any

Have you tried wiping the battery stats in recovery? Otherwise try some battery maintenance by letting it completely drain and charge again a few times over.
Hi
Yes I wipe the battery stats when flashing a Rom.. Have also tried discharging the battery completely and then charging it but no improvement..
If there is any specific tool for battery maintenance then I can give it a shot..

I had the problem earlier, drain your battery completely , take it out , after 5 mins plug it in then switch on....let it completely charge

Hmm, my only suggestion is to try yashwantpiduru a few times over. Also, until you get this sorted, try only charging it using your computer to get a slow charge. Don't "rapid" charge your phone using the AC adapter.
Other than that, you may require a new battery, even if it's reporting "100% health"
So I don't care if it takes a couple hours for the phone to charge, the problem is that the phone charges to 100% in about 2 hours and I don't think that is normal, I assume the kernel with android hd revolution has fast charge enabled. I have not installed a new kernel. I did but then i flashed a new version of hd revolution, I assume that overwrites the kernel

download an app like trickster mod and see if fast charge is enabled...
ARHD comes with the stock kernel. I believe it is turned off.
I downloaded the app but it doesn't say anything about quick charge. Maybe i am looking into the wrong place where is it in the app.

I believe that HTC has not enabled Qualcomm's fastcharge 1.0 and I think that the fast charge that certain custom kernel will optionally enable is a different thing entirely.
My understanding is fast charge enabled by custom kernel is more accurately called usb fast charge , which will allow greater than 500ma when plugged into pc or laptop usb 3 port for charging.
I don't believe this will alter the charge current or rate when plugged into HTC or other model of ac mains charger

I think you are exactly correct about fast charge. And I've read that people have destroyed usb ports by trying to over-draw them with it enabled.

I installed battery monitor widget and it tells me the amount of current the phone is drawing from the charger and also how much it loses when it's not charging. The phone starts off at a low 220 but when I went to look at how much it was taking in it said 800. How could fast charge be enabled if I don't have it. Maybe the hd revolution has it enabled in the Rom. Is there a way to flash the stock kernel. Thanks
