[Q] having problems loading a custom recovery

Ok so i tried using Odin and it gets stuck on setupConnection. Then i tried using Clockwork Rom Manager and when it restartes i get the error
E:faield to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
I dont know what to do anymore. The phone is an anycall samsung shw-m110s and it is running android system recovery <3e>

anyone have a solutions?

[Q] My Note don't accept flashing

I tried to flash Slim Bean 3 on my original ICS (N7000XXLRK) and it's rooted but it just give me this massage
"Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed"
and i do not what is it means
i tried to flash with hydra core 7 kernel and give me the same massage
please if any one know the solution for this help

I guess you are using stock recovery to do this. lucky that you survived.
you need to use cwm to install the rom.
download philz kernel lrk and install it the same was as you are doing now. Once done reboot into recovery and install the ron

hey guys i was using mu I9000 like i used to then i tried to use my second sim card i insert it i started the phone suddenly i was going in no network no data i removed and insert back the sim card nothing changes even with the old one and nothing is changed i diald the *#06# the emei was 00499***** i google it to find how to restore my emei i found a site that gives a code *2787...... or something like that and nothing changes just the emei became blank with no numbers on the screen i tryed to flash several times with odin and the stcok jvu firmware and i am always runing with the blank emei no after i flash the jvu stockrom i get a red message after flashing with odin done it says """" E:failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)

and i also gone under root folder i found that the efs folder is empty i tried to upload my saved efs folder it says not enough space .... i tried with the efs backup pro it says can't mount .... please XDA's help me to resolve this f**** prob waiting for your help guys thnx a lot

i had the same problem , but i solved it by :
flash stock firmware via odin
root
flash CM9
flash JB rom
i don't know if that would work with you

choose a 2.3.6 firmware from this thread

flash it via odin , root your build by chosing the right cf-root from this thread

if you have flashed for exemple JVU , you have to choose the right cf-root file ( for JVU build )
then flash cm 9 via recovery , download from here

then flash any costum rom you want from development section

I need help regarding rooting my Jelly Bean Samsung Galaxy Ace II e from Videotron. I've already tried using the root.zip and recovery mode, and I get this error message when trying to install from sd card.
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed.
Any clues?

Wrong section bro, this is for Galaxy Ace s5830.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if you ever figured it out. I'm having the same problem...

my device does not accept any room

If you have stock Android recovery (Android system recovery 3e) you need to change kernel. You can download CoCore kernel here, take kernel.bin.md5 from zip file and put in on internal sdcard and use Universal Kernel Flash from frapeti on Play Store to flash it. If you already have CWM or TWRP you need to disable signature verification. Remember that if you have Gingerbread firmware (Android 2.3) before flash any JB/CM/CM-based custom ROM you must flash stock Jelly Bean.
