I have a strange problem with my OB on the right side of the screen when in portrait the 'p' key 'l' key and backspace key wont recognise a touch, any way to recalibrate the screen?

Does the same area of the screen work in landscape you can test using multitouch tester from market.
And I think its only old resistive touch screens that need calibaration.
I'm not sure I've ever seen calibaration tool for capacitive screens.

Yes seems to work as expected in landscape, used check screen to check for dead pixels, alls good, installed a t9 keyboard and it works great, just have to use this one, no big worries, thanks for the replies

Is it just me or is the screen.unresponsive? Many tine after i press.home for 2 secs swiping through panels does not work,or sometines make a multi touch pinch instead, keyboard is hard to write precise.I'am pretty sure is software problem cause i feel lg left this custom home unfinished and battery unfriendly.

I has been known to be somewhat unresponsive with v10a but not as much as you describe, at least not on my Black. I sometimes press wrong letter on keyboard and stuff like that and spacebar sometimes doesnt register, but home and other capacitive button always work well for me.
But yes, LG could have done a better job with the software because otherwise it's a fantastic phone.
That is what i feel too that sometimes taps does not register, but as i sayd in home screen sometimes i swipe twice and nothing happens after pressing Home Button, not all the time but hapens 1 from 3 times for sure.
I dont have this issue with my OB but i wont be surprised to face this kinda problem with phone made by LG.

My Search and Back buttons are noticebly brighter than other two. Does it indicate some problem with phone? Should I start worry?
Thanks!

It happens in every stock ics rom ive used. When i zoom in a photo with my 2 fingers then suddenly it rotates itself. Is it a bug or it is ment to be like that??
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
You must have turned on thumb rotation under Settings-->Motion. If that is On then your gestures are misunderstood sometimes. Try turning it off and see if it fixes the problem
I cant find thumb rotation!!

If it works on sabsa, then no, must be a software defect

Perform a full wipe of everything except SD card. Install stock ROM and see if it works. If not then its probably a hardware defect

My HTC incredible s has the same problem. I installed Sabsa, everything works fine only softkeys backlight not work (
I am thinking it as a hardware problem as my keys are perfect in landscape mode!! Will try posting a small video of the keys soon!

Same like mine before when my incS got below 10% battery.. no vibrate and no illuminating on hardware key button. so i have to set up back again manually when i recharge the vibrate setting for hardware key and the button will illuminating by itself.

New here in the HTC one area so please forgive me if this topic was already covered. Being new to the HTC phone I wasn't liking the soft button lights turning off during the day light so this app basically keeps button backlight always on, as long as the screen is on.
Confirmed working with HTC one. KiNDA

UPDATE: The soft lights turn off on occasion and I have to toggle the power button to turn the light back on. Bug I guess but quick minor temp fix by hitting the button
UPDATE 7-/4/13: According to solid.snake (see quote below), Capacitive Buttons Brightness Works well

It allow to keep the keypad backlight on as long as the screen is on, or it can simply switch the keypad backlight off.
