Hey guys, I changed my WebOS boot sound to "Droiiiiiiiiid". Wondering how to change the boot sound on Android. I know how to change the boot animation though.
Anyone know?
If I'm not mistaken, CM9 isn't able to achieve boot sound as of yet.

i'm doing an install on my 06 tacoma using my dell streak 7, since the battery life isn't very good im looking for a way to change the boot loader to boot the device whenever it has external power applied, my original droid would boot with external power and my optimus v does it now with the cyanogen mod rom it has so im sure it's possible. is there any current roms that do this? or any known method of changing this?
Flashed my SGS with build 15 and during the boot animation there is no sound. Just wondering if or how to get some sound during the boot.
I havent seen startup sound in any Custom Rom that i used..... may be its only available in stock rom....
i was trying to flash android on my tablet and now its stuck on the moboot screen anyone know how to fix it???
What options do you have in the moboot menu?
Boot failures?
When it does that I boot into webOS, use externalz pro to delete the android boot entries (name.uimage), then re-flash android.

i just turned it off and back on and flashed again and it works now!!!!!
I tried replacing my boot animation with a different one, place the new animation in /system/media. When I reboot I just get a black screen. I didn't back up the old animation. Im on MavRom 4.0
How do I fix this?

The easiest way would be to use Rom Toolbox to change the boot animation; it has the stock boot animations for the entire droid line. MavROM uses the stock D3 boot animation (which is the same as the D2 and D4... come on moto, why are you so lazy...)
It will save you all the trouble of manually swapping them, permissions, etc. and it has a very nice list of boot animations as well.
Hey guys, first time poster here. I used cwm to flash a lollipop ROM coming from PA 4.6, and as the title says, the boot animation won't load. I've tried hard-resetting with no success. Help?

the animation loaded, it's been stuck in the swirling stock android boot animation. I'm thinking about letting it lose it's battery
