What about the kernel + one version can be more stable than the other....
Verstuurd van mijn LG-P970 met Tapatalk

I wonder too
I use the 20B
does anyone manage to install both

The difference between these two roms are : 12 char
And language support if i'm not mistaken
Sent from derp-mobile

Diff. in V20 B & N
hmmmm. I think main diff is language support . V20B supports more Asian languages with of course English so it's released in most Asian country's.
I used both but i found V20B is more smooth and stable than V20n.

Best stable Froyo firmware for indian SGSL 9003

can u tell me wch is most stable indian firmware...
Im getting camera hang in my DDKC1 and XXKPE firmware..i donoo wat to do
plz help
I used to use DDKB2, and it recently got updated to DDKF1, both are quite stable!
Haven't had experience with any other Indian firmwares.
DDKB2 is here and DDKF1 is here.
Note that DDKF1 is an update to DDKB2 (INU). The disadvantage of the update (DDKF1) is that there is no compatible CWM from Skin1980 for it (yet).

Did you flash twice. Its a must. Follow the instructions properly and xxkpe works very well.

Xxkb3 & xxkpe
The Best Stable Froyo version will be XXKB3,
but if you flash it right, the Gingerbread version XXKPE will be stable enough, actually better than any Prior version of Android.
Agreed with the above poster, xxkb3 is the best froyo for any user, but the newer GB is way better than froyo IMHO!

XXKB3 is the most stable one which I have seen so far. It also fixes the GPS issue which is there in XXKB2

Okey.
You know su660 is base model of p990 (AKA Optimus2X in Korea)
There are little differences between those. (touch key, dmb)
and I guess sources of those are same.
Kernel version is same with froyo, but it is new build.
Wi-fi and 3G are faster. Launcher is softly.
Unfortunately or not, we can use froyo's OC/UV kernel.
Oh, our forum(in Korea) have froyo's Oc/Uv kernel for su660.
and we are testing froyo OC kernel+stock GB rom. (Maybe, it is good.)
PS: Pardon for my poor English.

even though they are similar, you MUST NOT flash a SU660 ROM to a P990 device. If you're lucky, it will barely work, but more likely, it won't work at all. "Little differences" have huge impact when it comes to ROMs for devices.
Best example is the G2x, which is, apart from that pseudo 4G, the same devices as the p990, even more alike than the SU660. But a small change in the partition layout makes your device a NVFlash-restore-only case if you attempt to flash the G2x Firmware to an O2x.
So pretty pretty please, don't confuse people in these forums that flashing that SU660 ROM is safe, it is not, and if you can't wait for gingerbread, you should try Paul's Gr alpha instead.

Oh, I'm so sorry. there are some misunderstanding. My device is su660.
and we (su660 user in korea) are using Cm7 nightly and miui rom for p990
with little modified kernel (cause touch key) and lib.
and the reason that I write this thread, I let you know GB for p990 is nearly.
Pardon for my poor english and don't misunderstand plz.
My phone is Su660 too, but i don't understand korean so no rooting so far.

I'm thinking of porting Marvel (w/c is based on v20n) to other versions like v20b or v20g.
What do you think?

[ROM] Rebuild of CIS V20C Gingerbread Update

Hello,
I managed to extract kdz files, so I had time to make this rebuild.
Note: This CIS (Russian) rom doesn't include so many languages as other roms (e.g. V20Q).
The baseband is available here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?lmphipfldl0anl8
Features:
• Rooted
• Deodexed
• Busybox included
• Zipaligned
• Ext3 conversion
Download
Thanks to royskeyz for the mirror!
Flix123, Link cant download...
differences to v20q, which languages supported?
@ seksith
I can download it without any problems...
@ Spuggi
No, there aren't many differences. Some people asked for a rebuild, so I made one.
English and a few other languages are supported.

Supported languages + english are attached to this post..
things i noticed about v20c:
-long first boot (as usual)
-first 5 minutes laggy but afterwards very smooth
-even more crapware, some by lg (lg music marketplace, e-reader, some russian widgets and tools, lg v kontakte (<- real name))
-on stock kernel + 313bb i get 2300 @ quadrant
-on spica's sr3r2 kernel i also got about 2300
-on guestekrnl 1.41 i got 2200
-> no big difference (still smooth on all 3)
-with gueste i got bsod when charging (didnt tried with spica's kernel)
-uv tool for gueste kernel cant set startup values (it says that rom doesnt support startup values)
-crapware can be removed without Issues or FCs (only exception is backup&restore, when renaming/deleting it, i have no signal)
-N.O.V.A. 2 runs smooth
-bb 313 + v20c i get very good signal (usually 20-24 asu and -65/-71 dB, eplus @ germany)
I did not test GPS or bluetooth at this time (both can be enabled but i dont know if it works properly)
When i enter the hidden menu with 1809#*990# and go to device test and turn off the led brightness the phone freeze
