I need help, my phone is stuck on the LG screen at boot, when I reboot to attempt getting into CWM i get the screen that says "are you sure you want to do a factory reset...." When I do so and factory wipe it goes back to the LG boot screen and doesn't go into Clockwork Recovery. Tried many times but no luck. I also tried connecting it to my pc and getting the LGNPST program but it doesn't see or recognize my phone as there is no way for me to connect it to USB Mass Storage.
Could I have really bricked my phone? I have screwed it up before but always able to get into CWM and turn on USB Mass storage, now I cant even do that. Any Help Please!!!

Dear android experts,
I had CM 5.0.7 installed on my HTC Dream, and I stupidly installed ROM Manager, wanting to upgrate to CM 5.0.8, and used the application to do a backup - after I clicked the 'backup' function, the phone rebooted, and is now stuck on the startup logo (and has been stuck for the last hour). I have already tried pulling out the battery and booting the phone into recovery mode, however it cannot access recovery mode, and still hangs at the startup logo. Is there any way to get past this startup logo, or is there no hope for my phone? Is there any way to push the phone into recovery mode via adb? I am a complete amateur, who follows step-by-step instructions - please help me!
P.S. If this tells you anything, while my phone is stuck at the startup T-mobile logo, if I plug in the USB cable, a message on a red background appears at the top of the 'G1 T-mobile' logo, saying 'FASTBOOT USB'.
P.P.S. In case this is a detail that could help me, while my phone is in Fastboot Mode, I have four options available:
HBoot Mode
Reset Device
Restart to HBoot
Power Down
Could any of these help me?

This thread is old, and OP is ignorant and wants to blame ROM Manager for his own problems. If you can't get into recovery, chances are you are using one built for another phone. Find the one for the G1.
Or ran into the know issue of cm5.0.7 that fash_image sometimes (more than not) fails.. thus applications using it sometimes fail.
But you have danger spl right? So flash the recovery via fastboot.. and if you don't have fastboot/adb and intended to run these custom roms its about time you installed it.
I'm new to the development side of Android and I bought a ROOTED phone from a Co-worker. Well my phone tried to do a software update and the phone is stuck in a CWM boot loop. Me not being familiar with CWM or ROOT, I pressed the factory reset button in CWM. Now I am unable to fix it. I have tried ADB sideload to load ROMS to the phone. They will say they are installed but then it will just go right back to CWM. I am trying the LG flash tool now but my phone will not go into download mode. Can anyone help me, please. I love this phone....

Can you get into clockwork mod without it looping
If not try command
Adb reboot recovery
Chances are previous owner has some Roms saved on the SD card
In the download folder
Keep in mind Roms are carrier specific on this phone
Yes it boots into CWM recovery and I accidentally wiped everything. I am trying to use the LG flash tool but it will not even go to download mode....
In recovery factory reset clear your cache and dalvic
And try sideload again,if it doesn't work try pushing the file with adb
If you can't get that pm me and I'll troubleshoot with you.
D950 on LG logo
I have a D950 only boots to the LG logo. I rooted the phone and then tried to install CWM. I didn't know about Freedom Flex then, so i used a forum post to try and do it. I successfully got CWM on the phone, but now it won't boot past the LG logo (also boots to CWM, I think it'll go into download mode). I'm not sure if I did any of it correctly, but I've tried CWM, ADB, LG Flash Tool, Odin, etc to somehow get the phone working again to no avail. I'm not even sure if anything can connect/detect the phone. If there's nothing I can do then fine, but if anyone can help/try to help please do. It was a nice phone an i'd love to have it working again, its been so long.
I tell my problem, I had running my lg, then I saw that I could install TWRP / CWM Recovery, but my lg is D950 AT & T, install the recovery and everything ok, when I gave enter recovery mode, the phone will reboot and all good do not touch anything in recovery, just wanted to see if it had worked, when you reboot, the phone will stay in LG and there does not pass, looking at other forums I read that this recovery can not be installed in these models because they are D950 variant, have a different software, the fact is that now the phone just stays in LG, I put in download mode on the PC, but only placed in donwload mode and the PC does not identify anything, does not sound anything that is connected the phone, and not to do !!! I tried to hard reset and nothing, and in the other forum say the phone is Brick, please, I need help
Hello,
First of all, sorry for my english as it is not my mother language
I've tried today flashing CM13 on my Wiko Rainbow, but I either failed following the instructions or the files I had were corrupted, leading to a never-ending boot.
I don't know if it was already a soft-brick back then, as the phone turned off while booting just after the installation, but 40min after it (obviously because of en empty battery, which was at 37% before installation)
At first, when the phone was plugged into the computer, the phone was booting up, showing the charging icon for a few seconds, and then was going into the infinite boot for 10 seconds, and then rebooting for the same process.
When I was charging the phone on a wall plug, the phone was just in an infinite loop.
The problem was that, when I did the Volume down + Volume up + power thing, I had a choice between Factory mode and Custom mode, but both of them led me to a black screen, and the phone powered off.
I then searched how to install a custom recovery with a soft-bricked phone, and I got a tutorial on SP Flash Tool, that told me to use a MT6582 scatter file, and to select only a Recovery. I downloaded a TWRP for my phone, and then started download, retracted the battery and plugged the phone on the computer.
I got this message : "brom error s_fthnd_file_is_not_loaded_yet"
The software told me to format the Flash, which I did, and this error now became this : "BROM ERROR : S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (5054)"
The thing is that now, the soft brick is now a hard brick, and I can't get the phone to boot anymore, adb doesn't recognize my device, and after installing and reinstalling my phone drivers, no solution came out yet, so I'm hopping that you'll find a solution to help my problem
Thanks.
Regards.

You're going to need the firmware (not just TWRP) to fix your phone. Have you been able to download it?

using SP Tool gives directly through the USB
Hi everyone, I have a huge problem with my d415 (T-mobile)
I was testing some roms, after installing CM, the phone get stuck booting to TWRP over and over, I tried to flash a CWM trough TWRP, and now I canĀ“t do anything.
When I turn on the phone, it show the LG logo screen with this:
(800) fastboot_init
(900) USB init ept @ 0xffd8000
(920) udc_start()
I can acces download mode (Holding Vol- while connecting the usb), but when using LG flash tool It always stops the process at 49% (Stop due to an error) or something like that.
I can go to factory reset but it never ends, stuck at the "Factory Reset Processing"
I don't really know what to do, also, seems that the drivers are not properly installed , (using lgmobiledriver from Lg website)
I literally tried everything.
Any ideas?
