I tried the player in Hiper Droid, TyphooN CyanogenMod and BOYPPC CM7 ROM.
Works perfectly on HTC Desire Ginger 2.3 too.
Make a widget on the home screen!
If no widget, the installation may not have gone better.
Check you have space on the system partition, at least 3MB!
Application is installed it is there.

http://www.droid-life.com/2010/09/08/download-leaked-r2-d2-live-wallpapers/
I'll have a look at the bootanimation. I have the resizing tools needed so it's usually a few commands at the command line.
Here you go... not tested though... resized to 240x427 then cropped to 240x320.
EDIT: Tested it on my QVGA Huawei U8100 and it worked just fine so it should work OK.
SWEET!!! thanks to you both

OK,got it. Thanks
I use Bionix's rom with voodoo kernel(thanks for his great work), but when i enabled voodoo it says '/dev/block/mmcblk0p3' in adb shell instead of '/dev/block/mmcblk0p4' in his thread. I don't know why but it will be all right to flash another Rom. I also searched on google, but thers's no help about it.
Hope this can help someone who were in this situation..
PS: When disabled ,it says '/dev/block/mmcblk0p2' corretly.
It should always say "0p3", you were looking in the wrong spot. It confused me at first too.

I didn't have enough room in the ROM Zip to include the data package and still be able to use MediaFire's free 200mb account. I have updated the OP with the instructions on how to get and install the data package.
If anyone knows of a different file sharing site that is as easy for people to download from please let me know and I will upload the ROM with the data package included. (232mb).
I know this isn't a BIG deal. But you added the thing for the Sims 3. When i click on it to download it. I get this message. *There is a problem parsing the package.* Uhh, Is it my fault and didn't do something or what??
I use dropbox to host files... 2gb limit and they seem to download more successfully

I have updated the OP to include instructions for getting the Sims to work. Basically the issue arises from the Sims 3 Stub file being locked to my handset. When it is installed on anyone else's handset it will error out due to the device ID mismatch. The way around this is to install the data package yourself. All of the instructions to do so are in the OP now.

Does this "IMPORTANT NOTE: this ZIP file is a ClockWork Recovery update file ==> DO NOT USE IT !!! As far as .Odex files I haven't seen any at all in the root folder.

I followed the instructions above ands while I can see the android keyboard under settings, clicking on the URL space on my browser only pops up the starndard TnT keyboard. How long do I need to engage the URL space? I would like to test it.
Try the google search bar. Just press and hold you should get a pop up. Select "input method" the android keyboard should be an option.
i'm curious as to why people prefer this keyboard over the stock TnT keyboard. the TnT has bigger keys. the gingerbread has these small little "half" keys. annoying to type on. or do other roms not have that keyboard?

[NAND][NANDROID] ATTISOID first release [29.2.2012]

Hi Guys! I finally can release my first customized themed ROM from SP3DV build! This is my daily use ROM and think it is so good to share it.
I'd prefer to shared the NANDROID (backup restore) but maybe upload the usual installing .zip file in next days. The major advantages of this rom is that it can boot with SD CARD inserted (It work for me and hope to work with any SD CARD type). Also use an app (tasker) that prevents rebooting after any missed call.
FEATURES:
- Based on CyanogenMod 7.1 Android 2.3.7
- This is a MOTO BLUR themed rom. (I don't use the BLURHOME launcher becouse it is so heavy for X1. Instead I use a blur theme for Great GO LAUNCHER EX)
- Changed Bootanimation with a 3D CYANOGENMOD7.
- JAVA enabled (For installing .jar files).
- New WALLPAPERS.
- 3 new AOSP themes Added (MOTOBLUR, ANASTASDROID, ROVER BLACK).
- Customized framework-res.apk.
- US text-to-speech (tts) Added.
- Changed the default FONT with the CHINT font.
- used the last Zargloub's kernel (gf111062 - 28.2.2012).
- CPU Max and Min frequency customized (128~614MHZ).
ADDED:
- Go launcher ex with BLUR theme, Go locker, Go locker themes, Go taskmanager, Go weather.
- Gauge battery widget.
- X-plore.
- Smart keyboard pro.
- Multitasking pro (With long press of home key it appears).
- Ucbrowser and Ucxunlei (a great chinese downloading app).
- Audio effect.
- TASKER (A good replacement of chinese Newding) [Great Thanks to BORKISHA and other guys that introduce it].
REMOVED:
- Stoke Android Keyboard.
- Old CMWALLPAPERS.
- CM7 old themes.
- Newding
BUGS:
THIS ROM IS UNROOT! So there are some bugs like wifi problems!
IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CLOCKWORKMOD recovery flashed to your XPERIA X1, please see the link blow till flashing CLOCKWORKMOD recovery. [thanks to Kerfooly]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329379
HOW TO INSTALL:
1- Download the .7z file from the provided link.
2- Extract it and put the folder clockworkmod in the root of your SD CARD.
3- Reboot in recovery and choose backup and restore.
4- select restore.
5- select the date-time provided. then select yes-restore.
6- reboot and enjoy without need to eject your SD CARD when booting!
7- After that ANDROID boots, launch the TASKER app and select your ringtone and SMS notification from your SD CARD!
Special Thanks to:
- SP3DEV
- Sun Dream
- Kerfooly
- Zargloub
- jerrytan93

*** Link removed due to unlicensed paid software included in this release ***

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There are not something special in that build! just can find a way to prevent SD CARD checking while boot! I find that if the build be unroot it can't stuck while boot! I try 4zroot for unroot but it can't reroot! When the build be unroot some bugs appear! If the unroot-reroot problem solves, can say that the SD CARD problem finally can be solved!
first one unbelivable it really works with sdcard inserted nice job attisa!!!!
my simcard can't get detected with this rom

So, just load it up, click unroot then reboot, then run again and chose reroot?
for me it gives force closes and system is totally messed after unroot and i'm not able to reroot...
but boot works with sdcard inserted...
Just like me
Wifi doesn't work anymore
what kind of crap you posted attisa didn't you tried it before?
but solution is near...
wifi is also messed up for me...
EDIT: oh ok i understand this is the mod you did to the rom but i prefer to remove sdcard than to have no su rights and no wifi
but pretty good the solution is near
you only should mentioned the problems more clearly and earlier...
I think all of these problems are as result of shell rooting
If there is a way to could full root the NAND roms, all problems will gone (missed call reboot, SDcard, wifi, ...)
If it ok I share tasker and it's settings
What are the Phone Offhook and Phone Idle ?
Sorry OP, but i have to close this. Next time, do not include paid software in your release..

Speeding up GPS/AGPS:
►► One of the main reasons to root an Android phone is to speed up the GPS lock.
►► This happens by changing some text in a file called gps.conf in /etc/ or /system/etc/
► Get a file explorer with root support (root explorer, ES file explorer is good too)
► You'll have to replace your gps.conf with a new, tweaked one.
► Go HERE, pick your country, and download the file inside the folder.
►► If you didn't find your country (like me), pick the country that is the closest to yours.
► Put it on your sdcard
► Open up your root explorer
► Copy the file
► Go to /system/etc/
► Mount system as R/W
► Paste the file, and overwrite it with the old one.
► Now change it's permissions to rw-r--r-- by holding on it, and clicking permissions
► Change both owners to 0-root
Click to collapse
Testing results:
►► The main purpose of the test is to make Android learn the new gps.conf file.
►► This happens by using an app that controls GPS and AGPS.
► Download GPS test HERE, and install it.
► Open it, go to menu-settings, and press clear AGPS.
► OPTIONAL: reboot
► After clearing AGPS, and while connected to the internet, press Update GPS.
►► You'll get a GPS lock in about 5 seconds
► Leave the GPS locked for about 10 minutes for Android to learn how it works.
►►This method will get you a lock in 5-15 seconds with or without internet connection.

► Music hangs for about a second repeating the last syllable the singer says. even while the screen is turned on, while it's charging, or while it's overclocked to 5GHz

Explanation:
►► This usually happens when on AOSP/MIUI/CM/AOKP ROMs and not Sense ROMs.
►► What is happening is that the buffer size for the non-Sense ROMs are set too low, so the music player gets to a point where it has to play something, but that "thing" isn't loaded, so it'll have to wait until the buffer loads it to play.
►► All of this happens is under a second, but this lag is VERY annoying, especially if you're on a headset, and the volume is set a little high.
►►The solution is to set the buffer size a little (or a lot) higher.

Solution:
► Download PlayerPro or PlayerPro Trial.
► Download the PlayerPro DSP Pack.
► Run PlayerPro.
► Go to Menu-Settings-Audio.
► Enable "DSP pack".
► Click "Audio buffer" and set it to Large (or Very Large).
► Click "Audio priority" and set that to Maximum.
►► Now you'll have to always use PlayerPro for music playing, because it's the only Music player that is compatible with the DSP pack... but it's worth it.

Unintentional Bump
Sorry for bumping for an old thread but this is the only thread I got that it properly detected actual satellites on GPS Status. Though I still can't lock-on to my location, and GPS Test just shows 'No Fix' on its status. I'm from the Philippines by the way.
on the same boat..
