Nexus S i9023 _ICS
Nice thread. Simple but elegant.
This is the first ROM I'll use if I have to switch from MIUI
First rom I've stuck with. Loving it.

Wow!
am using Mandaman's mod over your rom, and it's great in stability and usability.
btw, I've been asking around but no sure answer.
I know you do what you do and you are not someone's problem solver, but I am really hoping that someone agree with me that this indeed is an irritating problem.
well, here goes.
when headset is connected to the phone and listening to music, ringtone and notification sound mutes the music then plays from both headset and phone's speaker. The problem is the ringtone volume from the headset is really small. it's almost inaudible.
can this volume be increased?
or, better yet, can all audio be routed to the headset when it is connected?
Thank you Pete! Very much appreciate your work. Keep up the good work.
Really good to have you back here Pete.

Nice to see you back here....BugglessBeast's my favorite one around, thanks !
easy to press thanks button now
My favourite OG Droid ROM.
I've heard many good things about this rom and I may just give it a shot on my NS and Xoom. The only thing is that I would hate if there was no volume wake option for NS as the power button on the phone is not always responsive.
i have been stuck with Bugless Beast along with Steve garons kernel
hi guys
maybe there's a problem with downloading crespo_02-08-12???

Very nice cross-platform release, I must say. Nice work.
Will try it today ;>
I have bootloop when I set the minimum value of the CPU to 100MHz on i9023
I think that a missing of your ROM is powerwidgetnotification
Sorry for my bad eng

Was waiting for this to be ported. Amazing rom, thanks
Though it seems I cannot disable navigation, for some reason.
Edit,
Just noticed that this rom is incredibly smooth, like smoother than anything I've ever tried before. How was this accomplished?
Hmm salad bar looks like an interesting concept

This rom was originally for galaxy nexus, so the navigation was pretty essential Next build, i'll make it so that buttons/key popup is disabled if you are not using navigation mode. I recommend disabling navigation mode even now, so that your video player/gallery will full screen properly.
sounds really cool, I can't wait for the dropbox link to start working again so I can try it out.
OP updated with link to Google Drive, Mediafire (damn dropbox) and re-uploaded images to imageshack to avoid them going down again. Still could do with a proper mirror
Picks build coming tomorrow morning when I can upload. Running now and all picks work fine

From Rob43's git

No idea yet. The new rob build will be posted later tonight. The new build posted doesn't have anything new in (Rob's changes were committed after I built it) other than the settings menu icon and cherry picks.
Oh...this wasn't ported rom..right..?
Can someone post battery graph for me..? Thanks!

I am not responsible for your device. Flashing is your choice. Only flash for your specific model! Also please keep in mind that this is the initial release and bugs are to be expected. Scott is working on this mostly himself and does not have a team that is helping him. Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Im going to say this once and only once... He is doing this for fun and I am building it for this device. It is our CHOICE to share the work with everyone. If you decide that you do not like it, good for you.. Move on and flash something else.

Wouldn't boot on my P3110. Got past Samsung splash screen, then just sat dark and lit. Reflashed, same issue. Downloading again now to make sure it wasn't a dodgy DL.
I could not get it to boot. Flashed without issue, get past the tab 2 screen, and then blank screen and it just stays blank ?
Am using Beanstalk on my infuse and love it - hope you get this figured out

I believes all you would have to do to port this to sprint is change out the Eri.XML and APN.config
from a cm10.1 for your device. I don't port much these days. building from source is way cooler

General Info & Introduction
~Android Open Source Project: Or in short AOSP. Android is an open-source software stack created for mobile phones and other devices. The Android Open Source Project (AOSP), led by Google, is tasked with the maintenance and further development of Android. Many device manufacturers have brought to market devices running Android, and they are readibly available around the world.
~Rooting: Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user.

You have no idea just how sexy them damn animations are when you scroll! and they are even customizable with extra effects added on too, when i first used this rom and saw them animations, i wanted to give it the d no word of lie! Let me know what you think! Not the smoothest ROM with Trebuchet but smooth as when using Nova!

But please, mind, we won't support any issue arising from Magisk nor relative modules.
Listing all the additions would be a huge wall of text, that you wouldn't even read.

I think this is going to be the worst supported rom ever .
Hello, thanks for your work.
Few (minor-ish) issues I've found:
•Gesture Navigation seem to be missing the right/left swipe gestures to go back, and HW keys work even when 3-button navigation is not selected. Gesture Navigation shows the settings for adjusting the Gesture Pill Bar length, and also left/right edge sensitivity, but the pill bar never seems to appear.
•Screenshot overlay (the one that appears after taking a screenshot, allowing you to edit/share) doesn't have a delete button, although I'm not sure if this is an issue or a feature.
•Also a few performance issues on my end: I thought it was the blur compositing tanking my phone's performance, but disabling blur in Developer Options (Under Hardware Accelerated Rendering --> Enable blurs: disabled) didn't seem to make a difference. This might just be in my head, but, any suggestions for improving performance?
The performance issues aren't extreme, just slightly off-putting.
Absolutely loving the style and aesthetics of the ROM, thanks again.
How can ROM have pre-installed GApps but no Camera app? Not even stock one?
Also atleast for Vodafone India, you need to configure the APN first to use mobile data.
Other than these problems, I like the overall look & feel of the ROM. I don't use gesture navigation so that's not really a big prb for me.
Would love to have advanced restart options in power menu if possible as like most MiA1 devices, power & volume buttons are pretty much hopeless for my device as well

Capacitive buttons not lighting up??? Come on, people!!! P.S. Maybe I missed the option, but I kinda doubt it...

What's annoying? You label this "official" and it doesn't have this basic thing. I didn't curse or anything like that. I am frustrated to see this in non-betas. I am not asking for a photo app with tele/portrait support, and if this little thing called "fully working capacitive buttons" is too much to ask, then please excuse my lack of politeness.

Is there a MI A1 model with AMOLED so we can bother about AOD support??? What's the point in having AOD in a handset with LCD display??? Can't find a way to mess up your battery completely?

Don't listen to this annoying guy. Yes, there should be the option to activate it. Despite having an IPS panel, it is good to use it for when a notification arrives or you take the phone out of your pocket or you pass your hand over it. Like Motorola phones, it's a good feature.
Really nice rom, I love the UI. Some freezes but it happens on others roms too.
Good job!

Strange behavior: just for a moment i had a really strange lockscreen, everything aligned left with weather at the right of time (almost at the center of the screen), it actually looked very nice! But it soon disappeared and turn everything centered again. Is it a hidden feature?
