[Q] Wifi Signal extremely weak

Hi guys, I use the captivate as a spare phone , and sometimes to browse the internet at home. I've noticed that recently the wifi signal has been extremely weak. I'm literally right next to my router and it's showing 1 bar of reception. When i step into the next room, i get no reception at all. I was on stock firmware at the time, I have since flashed to cm10, and the wifi signal is just as bad. Can anyone help please?

I'd suggest you try a different kernel. Also, you could try to delete your saved network and re-connect to it.

Q: about wifi strength of GT-P3110 after changing to cm 10.1

Hi, Iwas wondering, ever since i had changed to cm 10.1 from stock 4.1.1, my wifi's strength seems to have been like any other phone (before, it was 3-full bar, even from outside our house) but now it doesn't even reach 4 bars even if I'm beside the router...
Suggestions to fix this? I really like the mod, but if the price is the wifi...
Also, my wifi keeps on disconnecting on it's own (even if the screen is on). Any solutions?

update: now the wifi disconnects even when it's not in idle mode...
I'm not running any wifi boosters or whatnot

[Q] WiFi range issues

Hi all
I've just upgraded to this great phone,but i seem to be having range or signal quality issues i have a tplink N draft router
but it drops connection as soon as i go upstairs,i get 2/3 bars on my old galaxy s2 in the same area has anyone else come across this issue.

wi fi not working well on cm 12.1 in che1-l04

when i flash cm 12.1 in my che1-l04 device......its all working great..even calling service after flashing modem....but wi fi scanning range not well..evwn after connecting wifi its disconnect automatically....
poor wifi quality..
so now what do i do....suggest please....

Dear All,
unluckily, I bought the Samsung galaxy a30 (A305F/DS) a couple of months ago, I got many connection issues since I am having poor WIFI and MOBILE DATA connection. (3 bars signal while I got full bar signal on my iPhone 11 using the same simcard) and full bar wifi 5.0Ghz signal but unstable.
I've decided to go live on Facebook to talk to my buddies, every time I host someone on the screen the other viewers cannot hear both of us.
my internet connection is too fast (1000/300 Mbps) and my mobile data connection is (100Mbps) .
I've tried different firmware from sammobile.com but the same issue.
I also can't uninstall the Facebook app since it comes built-in together with the firmware
please advise
