I'm having the same issue. I've been running CM9 on my Galaxy Tab (THE Galaxy Tab, not 7+, 8.9, or 10.1) and recently bought the desktop dock specifically for the audio out through the base station (looking to use it for a car PC application).
Sadly, no audio out through the dock :'( Have not tested HDMI as I don't really care about that. Anyone know if there is/will be a fix for this? I'd prefer not to have to go back to a TouchWiz based ROM.
I tried to report the problem on the bug treads, development treads and so on, but no one seems to care about this. I can understand that this is not a core functionality but it is part of the functions of the tablet. Maybe when the ICS rom will be stable someone will loose some time after this... I hope...
...BTW, even the HDMI does not work...
I think that CyanogeMod 9 will never work perfectly with the dock. It's just a random thing to have.
Is this dock referred to keyboard dock? I if yes, I I had the same concerns to having keyboard dock Samsung running on cm9(rc1)

No audio, I can understand. But are you saying that keyboard dock also doesn't work? Have you actually try this correctly?

No audio with dock
Hi, I have no audio from the dock line-out which was working with the Overcome GB rom. I have searchedd the forums and tried the fixes suggested for the 10in Gal Tab, but no success. Anyone got any ideas for the 7in?
Thanks,

Anyone know if this is going to attract any developer attention now or in CM10 development? Please!
Thanks,

Hi!
I have the gt-p1000(gsm) with cm10.1 (android version 4.2.2) and still no audio from the dock port.
I use the tablet as a media source on my car, so I need audio out put from the dock port. I know, I could use the stock rom, but some my favorite apps work only on jellybeam and the bluetooth is'n working on android 2.3.6.
So if You are a guru, please look in to this.
Thanks.
I have Galaxy S who's stock rom has tv out option, but I'm using ICS/JB now and those two don't have tv out option in settings (since its pure android, no samsung **** in it). Is there any way to enable tv out by 3.5mm audio, like application or something?
CM10 has a TV Out option under Settings -> Advanced but I can't see if it works because I haven't got the required cable.
I regularly use tv out on CM10 and it works well. Also used it on CM9 beforehand.
I really need the Fast Forward/Rewind function inside (long) tracks to listen to podcasts and audio books.
First, if I understand correctly, the Galaxy Mini uses the CTIA headset standard, right? More on the CTIA headset standard, see http://www.head-fi.org/t/632892/review-sony-mh1-the-best-kept-secret, and scroll down to: Variation and Confusion.
Here are some apps which are supposedly doing Fast Forward/Rewind: http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...-my-android-device-from-my-headph/30677#30677, if the stock music app doesn't do it. It doesn't do it, right?
As both the iPhone and newer Samsungs use the CTIA standard, any "made for iPhone" headset should work with functioning button on the Galaxy Mini like a charm. At least in theory.
Pls. list your headset accordingly if it does or does not do Fast Forward and Rewind with any of these apps!
can anyone please port, show me an existing port, or teach me how to port, the samsung s3/4/5 music player app that will work on our phone?
Is there a port of the Samsung Music to our device?
