[Q] usb crash phone - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i when i try to mount my usb to computer it loading for like 10-15sec but then it just stops and reboot my phone what is wrong?

[Q] my device reboots after every time when i disconnect it from PC

my device reboots after every time when i disconnect it from PC.
this happen when i enable the usb debugging mode only after disable it works fine. I also tried it with Kies and it worked without any problem.

Try factory reset first if it doesnt fix,flash another rom

bro what rom and kernel are you on???

What OS is installed on computer(well it dosent matter but good to know info cause u never know)

Phone bricked after smt ICS

Hello guys I were in cm10 after flashing ics with smt I got bootloop for recovery
and it erases something(like formatting the stock rom) then rebooting after connecting it to computer again the smt didn't detect it cuz of usb debugging is not enabled so what to do now ??

SFT is seperate from the system. It doesn't matter if USB Debugging is enabled or not ( Assuming smt is SFT).
Sorry yeah sft okay but why it didn't able to detect my phone which is in s/w upgrade mode??

Try updating to the latest USB drivers from Lg. I can't think of anything else.

Don't know but when tried again this time after trying lgupdatesetup it connected thnx I flash gb and then ICS and wait until it finishes

it just worked? just like that? I've got the same problem man... SFT doesn't recognize my phone at any port, really don't know what to do

i was trying to backup my phone using twrp. When the phone boots into twrp, it crashes. and this happens every time i boot up my phone. i cant even connect to the phone with adb. What should i do?

Same thing have happened to me due to incompatible theme. Hangs on twrp splashscreen and reloads over and over..
ADB still worked for me so it was easy to fix.
You got drivers installed?

Install Samsung USB drivers and reboot your computer, then try ADB again.
You have any theme in /sdcard/TWRP/theme/ , or maybe problem is somewhere else.

in my case it was because of an old TWRP version. With GT-I8190_TWRP_2.8.6.1 the boot loop was gone

I'm trying to install cyanogenmod onto my m7 but I cannot transfer the zip file to my device using either adb or mtp. If I just drag and drop the zip file to my device, windows will just return an error.
