Same thing have happened to me due to incompatible theme. Hangs on twrp splashscreen and reloads over and over..
ADB still worked for me so it was easy to fix.
You got drivers installed?

Install Samsung USB drivers and reboot your computer, then try ADB again.
You have any theme in /sdcard/TWRP/theme/ , or maybe problem is somewhere else.

Use odin and add TWRP from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748327

Hi,
in my case it was because of an old TWRP version. With GT-I8190_TWRP_2.8.6.1 the boot loop was gone

My SGS is stuck at bootscreen, HELP Please.

Here is the thing:
I was on JPY (rooted) and i flashed (voodoo lagfix) my phone sgs Kernel flasher (it worked before more than once). It restarted and then...nothing. It's stuck on that screen. I can't get in recovery mode nor download mode.
The phone is not even detected by the pc.
I already tried that trick which suggest to remove battery and reboot, but nothing.
Guys, Help, Please.
How about download mode? Can you access that?
Nope. I can't access download mode either.
Help? Please?

OK i've take a look and i'm quite sure it won't work either. Why? because i noticed that even the battery icon doesn't show up when i put it in charge i just get that ajax loading icon (which freeze) and then nothing.
isn't that rather an internal sd trouble? That's my guess please let me know what you think.
Well, at the current stage you have two choice. Try the homemade jig or bring it back to Samsung for a refurbished unit. Pick one.

I had i similor issue, and i tryed to connect via adb..
try to see if your phone is connected with fx: c:\androidsdk\tools\adb devices
if so then type c:\androidsdk\tools\adb reboot recovery
this all depends on where your androidsdk files are located on your computer.

I tried this. My phone is not detected. When you had this issue could you see the battery icon? Or when you plug in your phone in pc could you hear that small sound? cause in my case i don't.
No battery icon, but i heared the small sound..but i tryed severel times before the it rebootet in to recovery.
What about the 3 button solution, and then connect via odin..does it reconize your phone?

I tried that 3 buttons combinaison so many times i can't count. I think the bootloader doesn't even load properly. That fact that i don't have that sound is a frightening.

Im having this same issue, after trying to flash android revolution on my unlocked/rooted rogers One, it froze on the successfully installed part and I had to wait for it to die to try to restart it.
I cannot boot into recovery or connect it to my computer in any way, ./adb reboot bootloader doesnt work it says cannot find device.
When I vol down + power the bottom lights just blink and the phone does nothing.
Any idea on how I can reflash the phone?

I have this same problem as well. I also believe I have bricked my HTC One (ATT) and I tried to flash the stock boot.img but when connected to my computer, the phone is completely empty with no download folder, apps folder or anything like it was on stock. I'm on TWRP Recovery but how to I reinstall the boot.img and fix the phone and put it back into factory settings?

Sigh, Im an Idiot after all these years with android. I accidentally wiped everything

So I rooted my phone HTC one verizon m7 with sunshine and towelroot and it worked. It has been awhile since i flashed and installed roms.
So I installd TWRP and roms , The rom wouldnt work and it would go back to TWRP. and I Forgot to back up/nandroid then i panicked - Accidentally wiped everything...now I'm stuck in TWRP with nothing in it. NO rom's no back up .
ADB sideload gets stuck trying load in TWRP or mount wont recognize on my computer. Please help. Will gladly donate if I can gee this fix in couple hours
Install this recovery http://mdmower.cmphys.com/download/317/?version=2.8.1.1
Then connect the device to your computer and you should see the storage connected as MTP. Copy your Rom to it like you do normally and flash. Maybe you must wait a little before the storage appears connected to the computer.

There is no need for donation. If you want to donate give it to some poor people in your area our to the devs of the Rom/kernel you are using.

[Q] How to transfer files without a rom?

Hi guys,
I did something really stupid and formatted my whole phone, so I can only access TWRP and Fastboot! I need to get a backup from my pc on the phone, but I wonder how? I can't push files via fastboot and TWRP's MTP mode isn't recognized by my pc
Any ideas how to get any file/rom on my phone?

Twrp will recognize otg drives. You can push via adb in recovery as well so long as your drivers work.

Yes. Try connecting with the phone off then boot into TWRP. You should be able to use adb though, check your drivers.

That sounds like the charging screen. Adb push/sideload should work. Reinstall your drivers and make sure all other phones have drivers removed.

[Q] Stuck in boot loop

Hi,
So I haven't been able to use my phone because I've been stuck looping into TWRP. From there I can install ROMs and go into the bootloader but out of the 2 ROMs I have, Cyanogen won't install and the stock ROM sends me in this loop. I tried side loading using ADB but for some reason when I search for devices on my computer (W7) nothing shows up even though M7WLS shows up in my USB devices. Is there away I can access my phones internal storage to put another ROM in? Or is there something else I can do to fix this? I tried using my back up but that still keeps me in the loop. My phone is unlocked but S-On still and prior to today I was using ViperOne. Thanks! Let me know if I'm missing any information.

You could try to adb push a rom to your device while booted to twrp.
Code:
adb push RomName.zip /sdcard/

Sounds like maybe your drivers are not installed correctly try this.
On your PC go to device manager and find your phone(usually M7WLS), right click and select properties
Select the driver tab
Select update driver
Select browse my comp
Let me pick
Look for ADB USB device or similar should be one of the first couple choices
Select MyHTC install and you should be good
