Modifying HTC Clocks Widgets - Desire HD Themes and Apps

Hi Guys,
I'd like to find out if it is possible to modify the Analog HTC clock widgets, I would just like to make some adjustments to the opacity of the analog clocks.
Where in the system files will I be able to find the apks for the clocks?

}
This is the clock I would like to modify, I want to decrease the opacity of the clock and change the hands to neon Green to match my battery level icons
Thanks,

Ok, so I seem to have figured out where it is, now the problem is that it is an M10 files, not PNG's like I thought it would be.
And the m10 editor thread is dead, so I cant get the editor. So is there someone out there who would like to try and modify the clock for me. I have attatached the m10 file for the "Beam" clock which is the one I want to edit.

Editing the color of the hands can't be done, the m10 editor can't decode the images in Sense 3.5 files.
I changed the opacity of the clock itself though, I hope it was the right value If not, I'll try again.

Couldn't get it to work, my phone kept doing weird things after I flash it and I open the clocks in the widget menu, thanks anyway

Hum, so there is no way to modify that ugly clock, even with the m10 editor, except for some parameters like opacity??

Interested in transparent widgets?

I've been messing around theming widgets, and figured I'd see if anyone was interested in getting them when they're done. To give you an idea of what I'm doing, here's a screenshot of the music widget. Obviously in the finished version the text will be a bit more readable on different backgrounds, this was sort of a proof-of-concept. Let me know if any of you are interested, and I'll keep you posted!

Just take the weather widget, open with winrar/winzip. Take out the res folder. Open all the images that say widget bg or widget background something like that in photoshop. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Del to delete image and make them transparent. Save. Drag res folder back into the apk.
Bah i'll just share mine.

have anyone can tell me how could i get these Notification icons < wifi, bluetooth..........above
[Low right corner button]>Widget>Settings>[Wanted widget]
I CAN NOT FIND THEM (
lower right corner button>widget>settings>
then there are all the notification widgets for you to select.
yes i know. but i want to mod them i need apk file
Aren't those the HTC Widgets?
yes widget ~
Some of the images for those widgets are in the skin. If you extract the contents of a skin .apk from your phone (located in system/app look for the skin name ie metal.apk or slate.apk) Then when extracted look in the res/drawable-hdpi, The icons for the widget are in there. I have written a basic guide on how to edit .apk images here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=843937 or check out the sticky in this section there is a more in depth guide there.
Hope it helps
Does anybody know how i can get the colored icons in the shown taskbar?

These are described as framework mods. This requires you to have a rooted device with s-off (eng bootloader or radio s-off), then can then be flashed. Not as easy as just the skin components. There are some available here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801928

[HELP] Future MIUI theme

I'm sure you are all familiar with the new MIUI craze, I'm currently working on a theme for MIUI but its not actually going to be applied through the theme manager. Sadly this one needs xml edits to change the status bar font to white.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Thats the current progress of the theme, basically looking to black out the pulldown in a matte style. I have all the recourses done and in place I just need help changing the font to white. I've googled searched here and every other android site I can think of how to do it.
I've attempted editing with a hex editor.. that didn't work the series of numbers I was told to look for didn't even pull up while searching in the hex editor.
I've edited the xml files, Status_Bar.xml, Status_bar_expanded.xml, and status_bar_latest_event_content.xml and got no results. I tried editing the services.jar file and got nothing as well or it would cause boot loops.
To put it simply I'm not sure if I'm just not doing these edits rite or what but I have tried just about everything I can think of to change this font. Tried every tutorial I could find, and I just simply cannot do it. So I'm here asking for help from anyone that knows what they are doing or how to do it differently.
MIUI 1.2.4 is the build I'm trying to do this on, android build # 2.2.1.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated by not only me but the entire MIUI theming community I'm sure.

[Q] StatusBar Background

Hi @ all!
I recently switched from my good old Xperia Mini to my brand new Xperia SP:victory:
So as soon as I got root (thanks to DooMLoRD), I started to mod everything I disliked before. Like the white Phone apks, cause I really hate this new-fashioned "white-minimalistic design".
But there is still one thing I really liked on my Xperia Mini and which was removed on Android 4+
The gradient StatusBar!
How can I change my StatusBar Background from this simple black/grey panel:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
To a more fancy black gradient one, like this?
I know it's about editing/decompiling the SystemUI.apk, but regarding this I have some questions:
Which xml in the res/drawable folder is the one I have to edit after decompiling (and how), so that it will use a png instead of a hex colour code?
Which folder is the relevant one for the Xperia SP? res/drawable_hdpi? res/drawable_xhdpi?
Whats the exact resolution of the png I have to create? Is it a solid one or tile-based?
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to to get rid of this new-fashioned flatdesign. In my eyes it looks like made with MSPaint!
regards
SOEDI
