Hi there !
i have gingerDX on my xperia x8.
my baseband version is : M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
kernel : 2.6.29 [email protected]#1
do i need to change my kernel? if yes, what kernel should i use in order to get all the gingerdx functions?
Changing kernels is optional, however be careful when trying to unlock bootloader.
Gingerdx is nice with alfs or linuxdx kernel...

What's my phone status?
Bootloader : Unlocked
Android : 2.3.7
Baseband : ~015
Kernel : Alfs v08a
ROM : GingerDX
Build : v028b
If i understood what you ask is this
if you want to move each application separately : settings-applications-manage app and press the app you want and choose phone or card
if you want all apps that you install : settings-cmodsettings-application-tick on allow app.. and choose install location
hope i help!:fingers-crossed:
You need to go to cm settings, application , install location and select sd card. Or you can just move the apps

Any current x8 roms that enable KSM and actually works? By working I mean it does it's supposed to do and has been stable in most daily operations.
What's the experience with battery use after activation of this feature?

I haven't tried v29, but gdx usually has the oc module. You just need to enable it it hw_config. Go to /system/lib/modules and look if there's a "x8oc.ko" file.
