Hello friends out there I m facing a issue with camcorder that while recording it seems to hang.in between for 1 or to seconds then again resumes recording. I have faces this issue with all roms any one else with same problem or.any solution for.this problem. Thanks in advance

maybe some app is slowing you down! check them!
I had exactly the same issue. I recomnd to change the camera application. Ucam is allegedly a good application.

Use LG camera downloading it from the market. Even if flash does not work, it's the stock app replacement suggested by the virtuous team.

Hello there. M facing a strange problem with my milestone. My camera lense is focusing automatically every 2 seconds even if my phone is kept away untouched. But camera app is not running still camera lenses move I can hear that sound n even I saw with eyes. I tried all rom still same problem. I m not using any spy can app etc still . But due to this problem some friends though m taking photos. Any one else with same problem. Any suggestions

Do you have Google Talk Application running?
I mean... must be Google Talk that keeps doing the focus's sound of the camera.
If your Milestone is overclocked, it means it will activate the hardware.
Though it is weird that making the Camera mechanical tuning... But not quite often.
Basically it will once MS is in booting progress.

Tried uninstalling gtalk and also tried orignal milestone rom still no success when I flash the rom the problem is gone temporary but after 12 hours it comes back. Any more suggestions. N thank u guys for trying to help me

Atlast today I got answer for my problem. Yahoo messenger application was focusing my camera all the time .after removing it the problem is solved now

My camera is working just fine. Maybe you have bad hardware?

Anyone ever find a resolution for this? I absolutely love this phone but I'm a hardcore user of Snapchat since everyone I talk to uses it for communication and this is ridiculous. Almost makes me want to switch phonese. Does it still work this way on CM/stock tons maybe?
i believe its just the hardware itself the sensor is trying to get more light in and it makes it lag i think (im no expert on cameras) as soon as i got a nexus 5 i noticed how much smoother everything seemed in the view finder and right now i just compared them it just seems to be the way the htc one is

Mine is occasional lag.
Same problem on mine, makes videos almost impossible with low light, my Alcatel pop s3 is extremely faster on snapshat. Is there a way to fix the problem ?
Hi all just brought my z1. lately i have experience camera issues. Which when i try to start the camera, the camera app start but there is no picture but black screen. experience it 2 times and only restart can solve it. anyone expeience this error??

Read And post there your question again, seems there is not a solution yet, I have the same problem just barely, it fixes turning off and on the phone.

Having another issue today were messages aren't responding with the right notification sound and is always wrong :S
