Hi please help me to flash S5830i with Odin 1.85.
I get error on the start,i try to flash this firmware:

One of those file might be corrupted. Try other firmware first, if it succeed then it might be corrupted

Even i m getting the same problem.. I used Odin 1.7 It Loaded up to System.img..50%... and then suddenly failed.. I dont know what happend...

Odin for GT-S5830 no need a *.pit but an *.ops file. Not sure about GT-S5830i.
So another thread about s5830i...You need Odin 1.85 and a version of Firmware for YOUR country...or just find PDA.tar in google and flash it

i got a rom in chinese and can work with odin 1.85

Use odin 1.85. the official s5830i odin may not even detect the phone in download mode. open odin 1.85
select pda
modem and csc and ignore boot
phone will flash ok. use jig to enter download mode if combination not work.

I think u should try Odin 1.84 with pit file
yes sir i have try with pit file but same.. i need to change it to chines language sir... hope can anyone help me...
the problem with this phone is that odin can't flash it with onepackage file
you have to split the rom to 3 files flashabl with odin

As per Odin tutorial i select Pit and repartition only when i have 3 files. Can you please advice where can i get 3 files as i have one file only from samfirmware?
My I9000 is international and factory unlocked....
right well were gunna need a 3 file firmware in order to use PIT. bear with me whilst i have a look for one.

Check the link in my last post. If you click on download it is downloading an exe file....

i dont know try renaming it. im downloading it myself now so i can see whats going on

hi, i have i9001 s+ and i cant flash stock rom I9001JPKG1 PDA&CSC with odin 4.43, it gets stuck on ext4.img. but when i flash with pda only it accepts and boots ok. but problem when i check *#1234# it says CSC -unknown. pls help i googled and found no answer.....thanks to all.. files are from samfirmware.com

It seems that the CSC file is not valid and it's an error from "samfirmware" and you should not flash the CSC file. you can only flash the PDA file. and unfortunately there is no "one package arabic rom" available yet.
the best choice for Iranians is to update to "I9001XXKPS 2.3.6" ROM and modify it to have Farsi language and keyboard... Here you can find the guide in your own language.
use google for i9001 multi csc i9001 jpkf3 .and flashed only csc
I was flashed one russian rom 2.3.6 with odin 1.85, all other roms dont contain the same files and odin failed, into the files boot and pda was contain a diferents files inside, I cant say whwt files were because I delete this rom from my computer, and with 1.85 odin dont work with one package, the one package only works with odin 4.38.
I need can use odin 4.38 but dont reconigzed the phone, what I can do for use 4.38 odin if only work for me odin 1.85? thanks in advance.

I am use 4.38, I have installed the drivers, but odin 4.38 dont reconigzed the phone but 1.85 yes, I dont know what more to do, I tried all.
I put the phone in download mode with power button more volume +- with the phone off, here everyone for push in download mode does with power button more volume - and home button, Why?

you are having 5830i which is completely different from international SGA.. better head towards some blog or forum that has some guide to flash 5830i.. we don't have it..
best one to ask will be danny @ sammobile as they are providers of most of firmwares or admin of sampro.pl
Flashing rom will be in the same way but the roms for this model are different.
Available Roms for S5830i are
1) S5830IZCLA4(China)
2) S5830IXXLA2(India)
3) S5830IXXLA4(India)
4) S5830IDXLB1(Singapore Singtel)
For download head to: http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
In the search box type s5830 --> Scroll down and select the firmwares.
Can anyone help me?
Odin works with this files: modem: BcmCP image file --- Pda: boot image file/param.lfs/Sbl.bin/system image file/userdata image file ---Csc: csc.rfs ------- Boot: BcmBoot image file, and only reconigzed for odin 1.83/1.85
All stock firmwares was dowloaded dont contained this files and dont works from odin, stuck in setupconnection.

Problem with odin, odins stuck in mimib file, I cant flash the firmware, I can only flash a different firmware file that contains the rest of those low samfirware, anyone can help me or say because thats firmwares dont work.

I was tested it a few moment ago and i must say . . . IT WORKS !! For newbies and noobs, you must put the *.tar.md5 (the rom file) only in PDA section and select START only if you plugged in your phone is in Download Mode and of course +1 for you

2.just choose the pda file
3.connect cell to pc

which country are you from? better u flash multi package that have pda, modem and csc file. search on development section. are u already install kies/samsung usb driver? odin detect? have comort??

Download the firmware of your choice from here:

You can use Odin 1.84 or 3.07.
PDA goes in PDA
Phone in Modem
CSC in CSC
Don't touch anything else.
1.84 need pit. without .pit it will fail
3.07 is better no need .pit file.

Are u read my 1st post? Why use odin 1.84?? Use odin v3.07. No need put .pit just put pda, modem and csc only. Hmm. Read first man.

if you are using windows 7.then while opening odin,,donot double click.right click first then select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.....it wont fail then..i guess

So my phone is constantly bootloping and it seems I cant find any solution for this. I have tried to flash with stock firmaware, flash with Bootloop fixes found on this forum, with some other ROMs. But not any of these helped. And the worst part is, that when I go to Recovery I cant do anything because it proccess some code and after few seconds it reboots. Thats a big minus because I cant install any Kernel. Its just f. up. I also managed to do a hard reset with phone dial code, it didnt fix anything. Ive also tried to flash broodROM but when I load ROM inside Odin, Odin just crashes immediately.
1. How to fix Odin so it doesnt crash when I load broodROM?
2. Is it possible to flash a kernel with Odin for Gingerbread 2.3.5?
3. Any other solution?

first make sûre that joue have Samsung USB driver installed and kies was unist.. then run windows un safe mode
OK to fix Odin problème using old version is better i suggest 1.85 then right click run as admin

what do you mean by that? Usually I would select "One Package" with newer version of Odin, but with 1.85 there is no such an option and I only have one file, which is tar.md5... Are u trying to say that I should load that file under every section or what? Because I dont have PIT file.
