You just hurt my eyes LOL isn't this rom called ExtremeLegend? or i'm wrong?
And please fix the screenshots, because I can't see them (maybe you should put it in the "Public" dropbox folder?)
Anyway I will try this ROM tomorrow

If I flash this is it possible to revert my apps, contact list and messages to this rom?

Whether or not an overclocked device is stable doesn't depend on a random number (like 807) but rather on the hardware – in our case the build quality of the CPU – itself. I for example can't even overclock to 7xx without having my device crash after a few seconds (a minute at best).

Well I've read a lot of ppl getting random reboots after 800 MHz mate so pls is that wrong giving a suggestion???? As l was ust trying that overclocking can cause stability issues, not rom.
And I have been using cm7 in my legend in using launcher pro and I think using go launcher is a tad smoother and more responsive is that wrong giving an opinion of what I feel about the Real Performance ? Not some voodoo scores from quadrant
Seriously mate, I'm just trying to give back to the legend community here so why choose to down talk me straight away?

First boot after flashing Gapps zip will take a long time, for 5 mins it will seem like the phone is dead, as it wont turn on even when u try with power button, BUT RELAX, it will turn on in the next 5 mins so DONT worry now my legend is pretty smooth

The weird thing is that I don't get how titanium backup even works. Wouldn't titanium backup be wiped aswell when I flash a new rom or is that not how it works? Sorry bit of a noob in flashing more than 1 rom.

Hehevyeah don't worry dude I was a newbie at first too
So this is how it works
When u open tb, go to batch and press backup apps
Then when u have a new rom just install tb again and press batch and restore user apps with data
Good luck

The msm7k in our device was designed and manufactured to run at 600MHz. As far as my experience goes suggesting to overclock isn't really a good thing to do, because, as I said, whether your device is capable of running at a certain speed is dependent on the chipset itself.
I got various reports of users telling me that their device reboots as soon as they open a complex website and they never mentioned they overclocked it. Imagine how much fun debugging was (I literally scratched my head over this issue) until I finally found out it was their fault, not a bug in the JS engine.

Well, the perceived speed of the launcher doesn't make the device faster at all. Your games won't run smoother because you install a different launcher.
You claim that the overall device speed is faster (at least that's how I understood it) and I was simply curious on what facts you might base your statement.
You know, I'm always open to improvements in CM. Apparently this one won't make it in.

SwiftExtreme Kernel is great!

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1325183
I have flashed the Kernel the day before yesterday, and got my battery charged to 100%, then un-plugged my charger.
About 34 hours after unplug the charger, with daily normal usage(several phone calls, some reading on web), there are still 38% power remain.
I would like to see a battery usage screenshot showing the "Display" use

Hi, I tried this kernel with CyanogenMod nightly 195, and I found the phone to be laggy as hell. Which ROM were you using?
Thanks. Anil
I have this kernel (older version with owains tweak pack) on miui and my experience has been just wonderful. Excellent standby time, haven't felt my phone heat up even once, no bsod's. I found cm7 to be very laggy in the first place so I moved to miui and boy am I glad. On cm it felt like every new flash it got slower and I was worried it might break. On miui things are so simple, just install miui, reboot and install tweak pack(it includes kernel older version) and your done. Just two steps. If you guys like this kernel please add your feedback to the kernel's page here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1325183
i have this kernel on my cm7 (the nightly from today) clocked at 1.5 GHz and i get
#Quadrant Standart:
1st try: 3701 pts
2nd try: 4144 pts
3rd try: 4644 pts
4th try: 4639 pts
#AnTuTu Benchmark v2.4.2:
1st try: 7464 pts
2nd try: 7524 pts
After that i have restarted my phone, because it was getting really hot..
#Smartbench 2011 :
1st try: Failed! (Invalid results - at least one of the test dind't execute throug completely. Please try again.)
2nd test: Failed! (same as above)
3rd test: Failed! (again)
So i think its a very fast kernel !
Before this one, i have used the vorkkernel.. and this has got many bugs with 1.5ghz (e-peen), but this kernel (swiftextreme) is just Great !

Hi, I have no issues with CM7. The only reason I was interested in a different kernel was to see if I could get better battery life.
No matter, I will stick with CM7 & the kernel they provide. I found MIUI to be very beautiful, and very well thought out. But, it is an ANDROID version of Apple's iOS' look and feel, plus they imitate the iOS way of doing things.
Have fun. Anil
If you love cm7 then you should know this kernel works for both miui and cm7. Just use it already, its a known fact that this kernel is the shiznit.

Hi, I have used it and found it to be laggy as "shiznit". In fact I tried it again last night, the low overclock version and my phone failed to boot.
You carry on though. Anil
Well you should post your findings in the kernel thread here. How else are we going to find what needs fixing ? I am on an optimus 2x and and the kernel is working almost 100% for me. If I had to guess I would say its because I'm on miui. I have a friend with an o2x with the kernel on cm7 and his experience is also not satisfactory.
I used to love cm7 and think miui is the ios look alike but after using it for few weeks I can tell you its not. I think most people are still thinking of the old miui with iphone icons(things have changed). I will not go deeper into that discussion because this is the page for kernel discussion. We are all entitled to enjoy the kernels and roms we like, but if you are experiencing issues the least you can do is alert the dev in the appropriate page. Please don't take it personally but there are many many cm7 users in the swift kernel thread who have posted their experiences and its opposite of what you are saying.

Hi, I have posted my findings here. I find it very laggy. It also failed to boot. There you go two findings.
Why would I take your opinion personally? I'm glad many others have had no issues. Do you only want to hear from users with positive experiences?
If you can make some suggestions as to how best to provide technical feedback then please let me know, and I will be more than happy to do so.

Yes its not perfect. If it was development would stop right ?
I wanted to make sure I didn't come off as offensive, you will be surprised how many cm7 fanatics are out there who will start yelling the moment they hear miui. I didn't want to sound like im promoting miui but rather the kernel powering it. If you check the last few posts you will see there have been an increase in cm7 users of the kernel and they are reporting good results on the new nightlies.
I would like to point out that with miui I have not upgraded anything in over a month and its still going smooth. I see so many cm7 users with bsod and no boots and bootloops and so on with almost every version that came out they have issues whereas the miui users have barely said anything. I guess coz its works for us ?
I think the best way is to post in the kernel thread in the development area. The developer is regular there so if you have anything at all to add, features you want or fixes to current version etc. please post there. The dev is very friendly and him or someone cm7 user will help you find your match.
Once again this is the original thread please post your results and comments here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1325183

[Rom]Stock rom 2.3.5 [Modified]

Hello
Thread for future
Please do not reply now wait for the final flag
I managed to make a full working rom with each and every thing working on this rom its a stock rom no adjustments with kernel .. but mixed firmware and all things with tj_style rc3 rom. basically my main focus was to get everything working so do i got except vibration on incoming message though it works well for facebook message or what's app message but not working for messages ..
I am working on to make my own home made launcher and also the icon set . when i m done with my other work i will concentrate on to the rom and will finalize my first launcher application .. then i will launch this rom
i have been using this rom for the last two weeks very stable not a single reboot battery life awesome with the stock kernel so far ... stands for 1 day with my uses ...
Reserving place for future and also wanted to let people know my plans
You can comment here for the specialized needs with the rom,
i will name it people's rom just say here what you need i will make my efforts to make it possible with this device.
also i want to know can we use phone memory to share as ram memory

suggest me a launcher using which will not be considered as warez ..
also please tell me how tj sir made it the blue color slide last view .. like when i scroll down to last of it it shows a blue color instead of stock orange color .. this blue one looks awesome to me actually ... feels like ics

Okk i will go with haree zeem is the finest now some one tell the possible way to utilize system memory as the ram memory .. becoz i feel for a heavy user 500 mb to 700 mb system memory is enough if we can utilize rest of memory as free ram insteed of current 300 mbs ... which is very low ..

yeah, good job on the ROM bro!
are you planning to mod the UI so it looks more ICS ish like MIUI?
looking for ICS-like roms for gb.. or the next stable release of MIUI/CM ICS for our device
yes i m using the pack for theme provided by a member
but the very main problem due to which i m not launching is the hd playback it sucks with the stock kernel and i just cant make my kernel work with any other hardware so i am waiting for kernel experts to come up
even the tj_style kernel has some bugs like camera freeze and video not recording with this rom so i am not launching it ..
if we get a newer overclocked kernel it would be great ..
if i get the hd video playback like earlier versions i will release this rom but need some help but all kernel developers are on other jobs.
Nice....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
我需要解释一下这个rom的是怎么Build来的。我投入了三个月的时间来修复HTC Rezound vigor的framework.jar4.03 to framework.jar4.04的radio兼容问题。
Sony SoundEnhancement For ICS Sense4(By me),这是良好音效。
它有更多的驱动来自One S C2,GPU驱动来自One XL 8960 拥有更好的性能,如果你懂得反编译与对比驱动,你会发现这个rom极大的变化,请不要以龌龊的眼睛看待这个事情
I need to explain how to Build the ROM. I spent three months to repair the HTC Rezound vigor framework. Jar4.03 to framework. Jar4.04 radio compatibility problems.
So I put my Rezound transferred to Vivid Network code, so this ROM is not without foundation appear, because its early has invested a lot of time. Has given it a new Radio is compatible For any previous Sense4. X is completely different, the underlying driver based on ATT 3.26.502.56 CL302737 release. I used the Sony SoundEnhancement For ICS Sense4 (By me), it's a good sound.
It have more drive comes from One S C2, GPU driver from One XL 8960 has better performance, if you know the decompiled and correlation drive, you will find that the change of the ROM is great, please do not to dirty his eyes look at this thing

Downloaded and tried to flash but it fails. The last step it gets to is verifying partition sizes then it stops. Definitely going to keep trying and keep an eye on this. Thanks for your work!
kernel needs ion, wont work without it, i will try to make this work soon
I don't believe there is even a ROM here...I'm not sure what you tried flashing, it looks like just his sig has a link and its to a text file. It also looks like its for the Rezound, so I would be careful what you flash.
But a sense 4.5 rom would be really cool
Google translation might be usefull?:
My English is very poor, allow me to speak Chinese?
I know the The HTC Raider Sense4.1 has gone through a long process, but it is based by VIPERS chun off a signal mode in ext.jar compatible with HTC Raider Radio. Radio solutions so far still from chun, but it is obsolete and not the standard, I'm back to fix it, using a standard and a new network code for framework.jar, it will be new framework2.jar/ext common. jar
PS: I will re-use the Stock SENSE3, 6 drive, restructure Sense4.x, in less than a week.
In addition, I am not a the HTC Raider user, but I occasionally to test my friend's HTC Raider

I know HTC Raider's Sense 4.1 experienced a long process, and It's based on ViperS, although Chun closed a signal mode in ext.jar in order to compatibly with HTC Raider's Radio. Till now, all the solution is still comes from chun, but it's out of date and not standard, I'm back and solve it, I'm going to use a standard and new networkd code for framework.jar, this will be a brand new general framework2.jar/ex.jar
PS: I'm going to use Stock Sense3.6 drive once more, and re frame Sense 4.X, within a week.
By the way, I'm not a HTC Raider user, but I'm use my friend's HTC Raider as a Test platform.

@sun_dream, @jose51197 is right, in order to make sense 4+ ( aka sense 4.5 ) you must enable ion in kernel, with also proper edits in ramdisk and more.... If you contact jose5117 he can help with that but you must have HTC vivid to test kernel and see if it works.... Sense 4+ isn't easy, you'll be up for a challenge.

Here you go:laugh: as for the low in call volume, a friend of mine has the korean version and he experienced low in call with borked rom so i really don't know, some say they haven't, others say they've had. The rom runs pretty smooth, the only problems are that landscape keyboard forcecloses but works fine on portrait and that theres a drm error with htc watch as it cant download the licence. Oh, and that you have to manually set the lte apn settings for att. other than that the rom is pretty great, the volume slider works in call and the volume is actually high as well as in music app.

Yep, Im currently asking the developer for permission to try to upload the rom to a dev host or drobbox account cuz the download was painfully slow in the server where it is, I mean 6 hours slow :/
I have been running this ROM now for two days and I absolutely love it. The only issue I have encountered is HTC Sense force closes in the messaging app, mostly in landscape (once today in portrait). Thank you so very much for this killer ROM sun_dream
BTW... I noticed it now says Sense 5 in your signature and the link is gone. Does this mean there will be a new ROM for us to enjoy?

A guy in the Sensation forum named Bruce2728 first got ION working on the Sensation (for AOSP ROMs) then another guy named SebastianFM made his own implementation of ION and used it to create a Sense 4.5 ROM with Team Venom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2216858
I ported Bruce's ION implementation to the Vivid and got the kernel to build and boot for about 30 seconds but because I don't own a Vivid I can't really get the ION kernel to boot up well. It probably isn't booting well because the memory has to be remapped (even on the Sensation, Bruce's ION port is horribly mapped ) but I don't have a Vivid to test on so I don't think I'll do any more work on that
Here's the ION kernel repo if anyone is interested in getting it fully working: https://github.com/sultanxda/sultan-kernel-vivid-homeslice-ION

I've been doing some reading and found out why. You kanged Venom Tweaks. Why not use LeeDroid Tweaks instead? All you have to do is ask them and they will probably let you use it. Here is where to find it:

Storage Settings Fix
Since Storage Settings is mixed with USB Storage and the maintaince of covered space.
So i have included the following apss in the ROM
-Multi Mount Free: Use it as a widget .Just click it and USB Storage will be mounted.
-My Drives:Help to maintain your storages .Also acts like File manager.

is there a fm radio app spirit don't seem to work with our device.
original does so I always seem to go back to the vanilla rom to keep radio because where i am data is expensive 4 internet radio apps.
the music player is messud up and when i locked the phone rebooted.
hmm. how about you port only the PNG's or the necessary files.. . to make it bug free..
And how is this any different from mine?? If anything why didn't you just fix the bugs in my Rom, or make a completely different one to help widen the range of development for the Desire C, this was counter productive, the only difference is, your overselling the Rom whereas i'm laid back about it... This is one of the main reasons i'm stopping developing/supporting the Desire C, the device is alright, but the community that makes it is small, and illogical in the way they go about development. Good work anyways: if you want to continue going round in circles that is... *sigh* No wonder all development is so slow on this device, you all make duplicate Roms.
The thing is that i had been making this rom for a long time.
Before you published yours.
I had fixed profiles somehow so i kept prgressing it.
till the second last build adb was working but at the end after last changes i made and kept the final build.zip and deleted the earlier build:crying:

PRoblems shall be settled
I think there is some sort of dispute between me and @penguin449.
TO clarify i shall tell you that i don't post any thing which has problems for daily use.
I has been working on this rom for very long .
Even before you even published.
Since SOny has to be done with libes.

It is true we have too many duplicates. We need originalatility and if you have many ideas do all of them and the best one will work .why so you think I release hardly any roms. Because we already have loads and there all pretty similair and when I've finished cm7 I want all the roms in one thread without any duplicates as once theres a rom like aokp ported or built we don't need Amy more but the person has to keep it updated. Those are the rules of you want to port a cm7 rom. Or I'll only release it to a select nber of people god. Male something original.
Well then that was long. Nowy thba are aching. DNA should of used swipe

If this device is to move forward then devs need to support there ROMs more with updates and improvements post release. Too many ROMs here that have been forgotten by the dev after release, still on v1.

I agree with penguin over at pico if a ROM is popular everyone helps make it better and it gets updated, not copied with extras!
If people want cm7 why not?
But let's help with one version not 10.
Let's all work together!
Since I got this phone there have been huge advances let's try to recapture the momentum.

what aint working here?? Im sorry i ask but its important for me as i use this as a daily phone..
I tried this rom out shortly - I love PAC but I needed the extra ram. It was snappy, but it had some pretty big problems. First off I was getting battery drain and CPU maxing out when GPS was on, unlike Pac. Secondly (worst of all, which made me have to flash back), I kept finding the phone completely dead. I kept checking my BatteryStats and everything was more or less OK, so I was confused. Then on a day when I was using my phone more, I caught it rebooting into recovery mode randomly, with the screen on the whole time, so that must have been what was going on. It happened often enough that it was too unreliable for me to continue using. Maybe I'll try the stable when it's out, because it was pretty smooth. Please work on these two issues and you'll have a great rom!
So thanks for the completely useless post give me damn logs. Anyways you guys can consider this device EoL. I have 0 intentions to update sgs1 to 4.4

I never understood all the whining & complaining ... esp. when you consider 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 ... the evolution to "butter" smoothness on these ancient phones has been spectacular. SB & PRB are at the forefront of that. I know people (with other phone types) who don't even get to use anything past Gingerbread (due to stability and lack of official support). Just look at all the roms left for dead on CM's nightly page.
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of PRB, jrongi1, DT, FE, stratosk, and others (inc. their testers) ... it's been an absolute pleasure to continue using this phone. Definitely showing its age spec-wise, but the latest 4.3 builds have been silky silky smooth. SB 4.3 v1.4 was great for me, and I just noticed the new weekly was posted.
So, damn ... just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to PRB for all the work put into maintaining this device. Whether EoL happens or not for SB's Vibrant fate, I'm stoked that at least jrongi1 is willing to carry the flag. PRB, man, seriously, thanks brother for all you do. Ignore the whiners 'cuz that stuff is unfortunately inevitable in this massive XDA expanse.

I'm wondering if this might be an issue with the kernel or not but I've been getting quite a few soft (dirty) reboots. (I'm using GearKernel 1.0.9v2sv, by the way.) When I perform any action relating to file management (installing/uninstalling APKs, moving apps to SD card, enabling USB mass storage, etc.) it goes into a soft reboot. It might be because of the scheduler (sioplus) GearKernel might be using or that I'm overclocking up to 1200 MHz. I'm asking if this might be an issue with the ROM itself or if it occurs on any other ROM. I'll pull you a logcat when I experiment a bit more ...

I haven't had much luck with GearKernel on Slim. The one freak time I was able to use it (without losing IMEI) was flashing 1.0.8sv right after restoring an SB 7.8 nandroid. It was actually the smoothest kernel I've used at stock speeds (ondemand, sioplus) ... but terribly unstable at 1200-1400 Mhz. When OC'd, the phone would inevitably soft reboot, as you mentioned. Mackay Kernel 0.335 was more stable on SB 7.8 (than GearKernel), and it would allow gaming at 1400 MHz. However, Mackay also would eventually soft reboot at 1200-1400 MHz (tho it lasted a bit longer than GearKernel) ... and then would end up losing IMEI at random times. Even Semaphore would soft reboot at 1200 Live OC, though it would last much longer than either GearKernel of Mackay. Mackay's 1400 MHz is the fastest I've ever experienced on my Vibe ... but the fun only lasts until the next soft reboot. Lol. :crying:
I've tried GearKernel 1.0.9v2sv on 7.8, 8.0, and 4.3 v1.4 ... but I'd lose IMEI/APN/Baseband every fricken time I flashed that thing. No method would ever bring the damn thing back - ie. pull SIM / reboot / reinsert SIM, wipe init.d, and even manually restoring a backed up efs folder.
I've got a smooth 4.3 v1.6 running now, so I'm not even gonna touch it. Semaphore runs very smooth on 1.6. Maybe bring up the issue in Alberto's thread. He may have more insight for you. Good luck.

It soft rebooted because your device can't handle that high of an oc. For example some people can not over clock at all some can hit 1.2ghz a few can hit 1.4-1.7

I don't appreciate the hostile reply. The rom was unstable enough that I just flashed back before I got any logs, and I figured any issue that severe would have already cropped up. I hope I didn't seem ungrateful about your work, just stating the fact, that right now for me it was too unstable to run. I understand that it's a nightly, and I was just testing it out.
Anyway, it's a moot point because it sounds like you're not going to maintain it anyway, so I'm not sure why you'd even be asking for logs.
Fact? Fact is runs fine on my captivate, or as fine as it can on it. Without logs it's just wasting keystrokes. I asked for logs because I'm still maintaining it. I said I won't be for next aosp version. Guys it's impossible to say how a rom/kernel set ups react on each separate device so if crap breaks and you actually want to help the community provide explicit instructions how to reproduce any problem with logs and screenshots if applicable. Else man don't bother.
Cheers

Its already lagfest (yes it is use a newer phone and you will see the difference), doubt a new aosp version will help. And time man. I'm maintaining 3 SGS1 devices, Skyrocket, Hercules, 3 t0lte devices and I spend a lot of time working on mako kernel as its the device I actually own and use as dd.

So, the latest weekly build was a huge improvement over the first. No more soft reboots! (It could be GearKernel's problem. I'm not so sure.) Everything works great and performance is balanced quite nicely. The only issue I have is the back button often doesn't quit a running app but it works with going back a "page". The other capacitive keys are fine, though. I usually resort to using the Home button to quit instead.

Grab a bug report quickly after it happening. I have no clue why this is happening. are you sure you set the kill app feature to back button (or hold back)?\

No, I'm using the default hardware key configuration. How do I take a bug report? Logs?

Then I don't understand the problem?

I think it involves the launcher lagging to be launched when I attempt to quit an app. I tried keeping it in memory but it didn't help much.
EDIT: It seems one of the users also reported the issue in PAC-ROM.

Get the semaphore manager from play store as slim uses the kernel it can help with some of the lag. But as prb said the Vibrant is not a speedy device as much as I use my N4 it can seem like forever doing things on the Vibrant.
