[Q] Why

Hi all,
i read the thread from all people talk about the China version can make a brick... My question:
Why if we have nice roms from 2 months , ported from i9020, repacked and partially full port, now we have panic to this and all people go back to GB???
3 days ago is not dangerous and now all go back to GB..............
I no understand... Great job to chainfire,neobuddy and others to give ics in my galaxy note.

i would suggest you do a bit more reading , this has been known now for a while

Please read the sticky thread by Entropy512.
Those kernels are dangerous and you don't know when it would hard brick - it would run fine for few weeks then suddenly damage emmc.

[Q] [ROM] MindCr Rom v2.3 My phone sometimes reboot.

I really like this ROM but I have a problem with it.
My phone sometimes just reboot and I don't know why.
Can somebody help?

The last versions of this rom ahave some small bugs. Install other version ( version 1.13 was quiet well ).

(SOLVED)Problem when build CM10

'm trying to make an Android ROM for RAZR I phone, (x86-atom). Everything works, but when I run make it shows this error:

make: *** No rule to make target 'external/intel-boot-tools/boot.mk'.
Somebody know how fix it?

I don't know what order things are done in, but does this problem, especially with it being solved, indicate that you already overcame the issues the other guys were having with ramdisk?

Im trying to build cm10 to razr i (but using the stock kernel to avoid ramdisk problems)... i have another problem when build, and im trying solve.... i have many problems: my pc don't work good (sometimes dont pass the bios, the motherboard dont work good), i dont have internet in my house so... i have to download the sources in another HDD and copy to my pc.
This is my first try, but slowly i try to fix the errors, to compile.
I need help from someone who knows about linux, cross-compile, android, and other things that I may serve, I'm sure with the help they need, a little time we will have CM10

I know "best rom questions" are extremely annoying but there are too many roms that i cant find the "one".
So, i will try to make a simple question.
Its for my girlfriend, you know, she only wants a daily rom to lisent music, watch youtube and of course, text me all day
I installed in her ace a cm7 rom some months ago, but now her phone its lagged, whit many bugs, so i want to install an stock rom just whit superuser and cwm (i know, not the rom manager one).
So, thats my question: ¿exist some flashable zip that contains only the recently stock rom rooted?
Or any other rom for girlfriends?
I dont want to use kies because i will lost cwm.

First of all you can't use kies with a cm7 rom because kies won't recognaize your device, and well you can flash whatever custom STOCK rom and you'll got a stable and free bug rom.
Don't exist roms for girlfriends...That's a stupid thing :s
If I were you I'd flash Stocklite 7.1 or a similar custom STOCK rom to forgot the troubles

How can i remove Cyanogenmod

Hi
I'm new and i have installed cyanogenmod on my device... i would return to the lg stock ROM so i have downloaded the LG stock ROM v20a but now i don't know what i have to do.
If is it possible i would want remove also root and clockworkmod... can i do that?
