Buying used N7000 with CM - returning to stock ROM

Can anyone recommend a stock ROM and whatever other files needed (firmware/recovery, etc.) to return a used N7000 to stock?
I'm on my way to buying one from someone and probably will test out the CM10 installed on it, but in case it isn't very stable I want to return to the stock ROM.
I'm not a complete noob, but I know there are particularities to each device, and trying to figure out if it's as simple as finding the latest stock ROM posted here on the forum and flashing that with ODIN or whatever...
Thanks.
You can give a try to gingerbread.and then can flash cm10.and can return back also to stock.
I wouldnt Recommend you ics.

It's got CM10 installed already and I will test that out first. Why wouldn't you recommend stock ICS? I mainly want it because I want Touchwiz and also because I want the phone to be ready for the Jelly Bean OTA update when it comes out and don't want to keep flashing ROM-s all the time and losing my stuff or having to back sh!t up

What about the root and recovery? Do I need to be stock completely to prepare for the OTA?
yes for OTA you need to have stock ROM.
You can directly flash latest ROM, so at least you need not to go for OTA soon.

You can get the ota update even if you are rooted but you cant install it
You need to be on stock kernel and unrooted to get the ota installed
After you get an ota update, you can unroot your phone, then download and install the ota update

Not true.. You indeed have to have stock kernel/rom/recovery but superuser/supersu are just apks.. So you can update being rooted and pray the process doesn't unroot your device.. But it won't prevent the ota upgrade

So, if I flash the stock ROM will that also unroot it and install the stock recovery? Or are these separate steps?

Flashing stock ROM will return it fully to stock. Cwm and root will be removed.

[Q] Is possible to have a stock P880 V20a zip version in CWM pack?

Hi all.
I see in the forum is missing a zip pack of the stock rom, can someone do it?
Is not important if debloated or not, just stock base rom in CWM pack with boot.img too maybe.
Thanks

I was just about to ask about this, the debloated v20a doesn't have valid links anymore. Just standard v20a would be great

If there would be a ZIP version to restore stock, I would hail that as well -- as most likely will all non-Windows users! It would be great to have the possibility to flash stock (ROM and recovery) on non-Windows systems. I wasn't aware I need a Windows license to operate an Android phone...

How to get back to GB from ICS?

Guys, I need to go back to stock rom 2.3, currently I'm with the ROM ICS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2076882&highlight=stock+ics) with the new bootloader, I wonder if I can install the stock rom 2.3 by smartflashtool directly or need to do some other procedure?
I thank anyone who can help.

You will still be able to use CM 10/CM10.1....forgot to tell you that...you can use the GB in as you are in Old bootloader and GB partition.
But, can I ask you why you want to swtich over? If it is to return the device, then google V10 Stock ROM NVFlash from Paul from Modaco site. That will be a perfect GB Stock ROM without any extra effort and also the old boot loader+GB partition all in one go.
You can also try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1472515 Civato makes almost near to Stock ROM and perfectly smooth&stable.
Hope this helps you and maybe you can PM if you need any more help.

Procedure performed by toolkit to return to the old bootloader, first time I had problems to fix internal sd because the computer did not recognize the phone then redid the procedure of putting in place the CWM and TWRP then worked, after I installed the rom v20q by smartflashtool and now have a mobile fast again! \ o /
Thank you for your help and patience.

[Stock Rom] [Lollipop 5.0.2] D405n Stock Rom, flashable via recovery

* At first, i would say, that i am not responsible for any action you do, since downloading attached files. Everything you do with files or advices in this thread, you do on your own responsibility.
This is ONLY for LG L90 D405N phone, not any other version of LG L90. Flashing attached ROM to any other device than LG L90 D405N will probably brick your phone!
Now to the point:
I somehow managed to softbrick my phone the day i bought it, and only possibility for me was to flash custom rom. But any of the available custom rom's has caught my heart, so i decided to get back to Stock. As i found, there was only old v10A version flashable available to download on internet, or possibility to flash original firmware from KDZ file via USB. Since original firmware KDZ file flashing via USB was not working for me (still don't know why), and v10A is way too old (current version is v10D) i extracted actual v10D original firmware KDZ file and made it flashable via recovery (CWM, TWRP). Of course you need CWM or TWRP first to flash this. I assume you already got it. If you don't, just google it, how to flash custom recovery on your phone.

After flashing Lollipop Stock Rom on previous KitKat or KitKat based Rom, you need to flash Lollipop Bootstack as well, or you won't be able to use your mobile data!!!
You can get D405n Lollipop Bootstack file here:

This is clean Stock rom without any intervention, so dirty flash should work on previous stock rom. But i highly recommend clean flash, just to be sure, everything works smooth. You won't lose your custom recovery, but you will have to root again.

Well, the question is, how do you remove root. If by "unroot" ability from SuperSU app, it won't work. How to unroot for sucesfully OTA update, I don't know to be honest.
What if i flash your ROM from zero wiping everything. I will not have root permission... Right?

I am also waiting for @MichailCZ to upload here the new lollipop .zip file to upgrade my wife's L90 405n as i allready flash the previous rom and all are very stable and fast ...
but as i can see we have to wait to have the LG official release at first
So, we finally have Official lollipop for all variants from a while now.
Maybe someone could post the flashable .zip for D405N Stock Lollipop, as I don't really like to unroot and Bootloader lock flash kdz then unlock etc. It's messy any could brick device, even if I did it successfuly from the first time...

It cant be done so easily because stock LP is version 20 baseband and stock KK is version 10.. Nevertheless cm12.1 is way better(no ir and bad camera only issues on d405n) and its still in v10 baseband..
