+1. I don't know what they could do to improve beyond Nova either. Trebuchet has a lot of work to do itself...
Much much much better than Nova!
It fits the Nexus S like a glove unlike Nova
I really like this launcher compared to Nova, but the deal breakers are:
* No ability to change icons
* Dock doesn't loop
Love the launcher tho just wish these features were present.

I like it. It also has pinch to zoom. And can make the app drawer transparent

Definitely looking forward to the future of this launcher.

Loving this with the dock hidden. OP is bang on with the adw reference, options-o-plenty.

I'm with you here, I feel that Nova is an excellent improvement over the already good ICS launcher. The backup feature is brilliant for me.
I'll give this a try, there's always room in my life for more than one launcher
I need this for my trusty Gingerbread ROM.
Best launcher!

Smoother than Nova and Trebuchet for me.
Hey guys i use ice cold sandwich 5.5 with the tiamat kernel . Currently im using the apex launcher ... Is the nova launcher better for performance or apex ??
Sent from my HTC Incredible S using xda premium
Try it? Results will vary from person to person. Best way it to test them yourself and what suits you.

Apex and Nova are about equal in performance I find. Apex has more features, and it's free. You have to pay for Nova Prime if you want certain features. I personally like apex best.
I like APEX !! Really Awesome !
try trebuchet too its good
ADW
The best in terms of visual quality and options available in my opinion
GO Launcher EX
Apex:thumbup::thumbup:

Thought this thread needed a refresh
So what ICS launcher do you use today?
I've been using apex for several months, but tried nova again because of reports on play that it has increased it's performance.
So far, I like it. It feels snappier. I'm Playground/IceColdSandwich user
Any Thoughts?
I tried Nova and Apex and in my opinion they are equal in performances.
Apex has more options and in my testing is much more smoother than nova. Trebuchet crashes according to me a little too much. I also found another launcher called lightning launcher. Then again there is sense to use also

Apex is well known to be the top 3rd party launcher for ICS.
Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium
Sense4 Launcher<3

Trebuchet launcher, don't know why but I just can't get used to nova or apex...
Sent from my Incredible S using XDA
Sense 4 =apex. Both are good but with sense 4 there is a little lag. Anythings better than sense 3 though

Go Launcher is still the best. Nothing else compares when it comes to customization. It does everything Apex does, plus more.
There is sgs3 launcher too. I love it.

Since a week I have Smart Launcher installed. It is super light weight, beatiful, highly customizable and last but not least super oderly, I am amazed! I tried Sony Stock, Adw, Go, Apex, 3d, Regina 3d and many more but I was never so happy with third party launchers. I thought let share it with you. You can try it out, see links below.

I do not like widgets very much, but if you do; Pro version has widget support.

I am using the Nova for awhile, I am pretty happy with it(fast respond and many theme i can pick ). But I check it usually take around 40 to 50 mb ram usage. So I wonder what you guys using and which one you think is the best?
I've tried a few others. Apex, Go and even the over priced Next 3D launcher. I always go back to Nova.
Next launcher is the choice for me. Very smooth, lots of extras, themes out the wazoo. Also if you use the "Next browser" combined with the last android supported flash player = flawless flash video playback. Just sayn.....
i use action launcher. i haven't found anything as useful as the shutters and covers feature of it.
I've used nova,GO, And the Themer app. I like nova the best so far.
Tappin From My N3
Action launcher hands down. I have used most of them but the typical mundane app drawer is not convenient on a phone like this. Action launcher has very practical and unique features not one other launcher comes close to.
Im using Aviate right now . Pretty neat !

I stick to the sense launcher
The stock sense launcher is great and thats what I use!
I recently found action launcher which I really like. It's very functional and more minimalistic than most other launchers. If that's what your in to. There is a free version. Give it a try.

I stick to Sense. I don't know what it is, but every time I try and switch off of it, I always end up coming back. Even though they change it with every new flagship, I still stick with it. I've used Aviate, and while it's nice, it's just not for me.
I'm on sense right now, using xposed framework and sense 5 toolbox to get a 4.5 home screen. However, I also frequent nova launcher. It just depends on my mood, and I have them both installed pretty much all the time.
I like Trebuchet from AOSP

I visit in Asia most the user use HTC Mobile phone because it has been too many feature that you can use. After Nokia Lumia and I phone big brand that are using.
I use Themer. Wish it had a better drawer, but, I change up my themes so often its still the best option for me.
I use Nova Launcher Prime on all of my Android devices. Just find it to be fast and customizable to my likings
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
I like Go Launcher for its customization but I really love Nova Launcher. Love it so much I purchased prime. Its really fast and has a fair amount of customization. It also never crashes or gives me any problems. It's nice that a lot of the icon packs work on it as well.
Try Aviate. Pm me with your email I have 1 left

SS Launcher Paid version
I stumbled on SS launcher a couple of years ago when I still had the "EVO 4G". I have not looked back since, it is more flexible than any other I've tried. And I always get comments on it.
Check out Lightning Launcher on the play store.
Google Experience Launcher

Big +1 for Action Launcher. It has a free trial(!) now, even, so there really isn't an excuse to at least give it a whack. It's not perfect for everyone, but if it you can handle its paradigm it works really well. Aviate's also good, but the inability to hide apps (among other things) really killed it for me.
Agreed

I personally use Nova Launcher Prime also, it's never let me down. An customization for the drawer and home screen is cool. Being able to pull app info and uninstall on the home screen is a huge helper at times.
I like Nova as well
