So, there's a Honeycomb port out there for the Dinc. Nothing really works ie. Data, gps, radio, but it gives you an idea of what it will look and feel like. Check it out and let people know what you think.

This is great, I wonder how stable it can get on phones.
Looks, sweet anyone know if that will be released for phones.... I thought I heard it was for tabs

Will this one get locked as well?
You probably shouldn't post links to banned forum member's websites.

He obviously knows that, reason why he posted it as a bit.ly link...
this is pretty cool. i hope we get it working fast/stable on our phones soon.
um, apparently i've been gone for a while. Why was he banned? was it something bad?
I thought we could get a thread going for this Awesome ROM since most of the info on it is mixed in with BAMF GingerSense 2.0-5. I have been using BAMF Sense 3.0 pr4 for the past day and love it, and I'd like to hear what others think as well.

Oh, no I didnt. I didnt know I had to, im sorry guys. I figured since it was being linked in other threads, that there could be a thread that was just for discussion on it.

able to be used as a daily driver?
or something just to play with at this point?
I have found it to be a good daily driver. I mean, I dont do all kinds of crazy stuff with my phone media wise right now. I make calls, text, surf web, email, facebook, etc. So I havent used it for gaming, taking lots of pics or videos, or doing anything of that nature. I do use that stuff, but havent needed to in the past couple days of having this preview. I have great charging time, and good battery life. I have also had zero reboots or anything of that nature. So, so far to me, it has been great. Ive had no problems. As far as testing EVERYTHING out, I havent bc Im just trying to stay the course and keep having good performance. I dont want to mess a good thing up. But when the real deal finished ROM is released, I'll be going nuts with it.

Been using as a daily driver from pr3, now on pr4. Had to switch the camera apk, now no real issues other than a few very minor sizing issues.

I too am loving this ROM. Because I do not post much I cannot post in the Dev thread, but I do want to show my support for this. I really do not know why HTC doesn't hire these guys to make this phone what it should be.
My only issues were replacing the camera, and the desk dock app does not work. This really isn't a big deal.
I have had two complete lockups in the past week when using this ROM. Once I was OCed to 1.4 and once at 1.2. I normally do not OC, but it really seems to help with this ROM(especially the camcorder).
Please do not let these minor issues keep anyone from trying this ROM. It rocks.

I've been on this rom for less then a day now and it is nice. I was getting tired of Sense 2.1 but when 3.0 came out it is hella sweet. I threw in some of Bamf's custom zip files in to tweak it more and it's hella mega sweet. I had trouble with Bamf's custom black dialer where it kept force closing so I had to switch it back to white, think I'll try fix permissions and see what happens. All in all Sense 3.0 is great and thanks to the devs of Bamf for throwing it out there for us geeks.
I dont understand the problem with starting a discussion for this preview version of the next BAMF. I personally havent put it on my phone because I simply dont know anything about it. It was posted by either adrenylne or thatdudebutch, not sure what one so why wouldnt we be able to discuss it. This is in fact a forum.....
At any rate, if there were a changelog for this preview I might have flashed it by now, but I think I'll wait for an official release.

Your right, this is a forum, and you are more than welcome to discuss it in the thread that adrynalyne originally created. Although it is his and the rest of team bamfs rom, so I would recommend leaving it up to him to create a new thread when he feels necessary.

There isn't a thread for it, just mentions and links packed into the 2.0 thread. Links that aren't working at that. I still can't locate a viable link to download it. So all in all I can see the desire to organize this topic.

I would agree with that, but it's not like we are distributing the preview. adrynalyne
made it so the link doesnt work for it anymore. I have the ROM on my computer because I downloaded it before he pulled it, but I'm certainly not going to post a link for it or anything. Like I said, I would put it on my phone but there isn't even a changelog out for it. I'll wait for an official release.

i agree it should be moved, but i think it should be in the development section
I also don't see the problem with starting a DISCUSSION about a preview that has in fact been shared on this forum. I didn't have enough posts to start this thread in the right "development " forum but thought people would appreciate it having its own thread instead of being mixed in with another Rom 's thread.

I totally agree. with over 1000 posts because of people asking the same redundant questions over and over and over again in the BAMF 2.0-5 thread, how are we expected to file through all of that stupid repetition?
Plus, since we do have a dirty negative-Nancy, I don't think Team BAMFwould have posted those links at all if they didn't expect any discussion on it. YES, it's in the wrong forum, but does that reeeeaally bother someone that much? In my beginning post, I mentioned that fact and noted I figured it would be moved.

Over downloading Mediafire links for the latest version of Tapatalk, I found myself running into an app almost alike.
The app is called Forum Runner.
Two things...
#1. The free version does everything Tapatalk does and more, downfall is you can't post attachments.
#2. The Dev himself told me that in the paid version you'd soon be able to add your favorite unlisted forums.
So should you try? Yes.
I didn't post attachments when I had Tapatalk because the quality had become shot out.
Give a go.

Well it seemed like a really nice app...right up to the part where I hit 'reply' and it told me that was a premium feature...I don't mind paying for an app but that's such a basic function it should really be included in the free version.

I used this app for a while and I swear I remember reply working just fine. Then a couple of days ago I tried it after uploading a new ROM and all of a sudden reply became a premium feature... that's garbage.
Tapatalk looks nice but?
How can I find out if the forums I use regularly work with tapatalk? With no free lite version it is difficult to know if it s a good investment or not. People keep referring to Tapatalk or XDA but surely the XDA app is just for XDA Dev forums and not for multiple forums (fora?) - I think developers would sell a lot more copies of good apps if they made trial versions available.
Are there any other multiple forum readers out there?

Go to the website on your phone and it should pop up a message. If not, then it probably isn't supported.

Is it just me or is the absence of Team Virtuous here on XDA a deafening silence?
They released a statement a while back stating they are moving all active threads to RootzWiki and there won't be any presence here...
THIS seems to be the reasons being thrown around as a reason for them moving.
anyone has any idea if there's more to the story?
Everything said and done we are at a loss!
Come on peeps, has XDA become a community where recognized and the best development teams leave us for our mindless questioning?
remember the devs are not being paid for their work.
this is a request personally from me to everyone.. try reading the forums, use the search engines, stop asking for ETAs, try not to request a gazillion things....
Anyhow, here is a link to Virtuous PrimaDonna even for the IncS
though it is still in alfa stage...
If anyone from Virtuous do happen to see this, I really do miss you guys around here & your work is total first class.
do come back

The problem is that rootzwiki is almost insignificant in terms of members & participation.
however, there are a number of developers moving to rootz of late.
and i don't personally like the layout and designs of rootzwiki...

i think that goes to show that XDA is by far the most reliable forum for mobile development & developers can not at most times completely do away with xda.
But virtuous still prefers to stay away, at least openly with releases and support.
i wonder why?
i find it hard to digest that they got pissed off with the constant naggin-ranting-whining-pleading-etc-etc-etc posts cos being recognized devs it's a part of the game and they most certainly would understand it and ignore as far as possible, wouldn't they?

I want to give Google+ another go - who do you follow that makes it worth visiting in the absence of any of my friends being on there?
Even though I love the way Google + works, none of my friends are there. Having said that I follow, Google, XDA, Shen Ye, IGN, and some other unknown people which Google thinks that they are interesting

I just signed up a few nights ago, but i haven't done anything with it yet. I'm not even motivated. I'm not a big fan of social networks. So signing up was as far as I got, but most people I would consider following are already on XDA, and redundancy is something I'm trying to do away with in my life.
So, we'll see.
