Not on sale in the uk yet and just spoke to a rep from dell us and they would not ship to uk, Bummer !!
Yes it looks ok but it looks from the picture that it adds alot of thickness. I am waiting on the amzer jellycase.

If you really want it you can always use www.shipito.com (I have used them many times for restricted items) or a similar service. They charge USD 8.- per shipment and their shipping rates are very reasonable.
It's not even available on the Otterbox site yet, hopefully once they ramp up production Amazon UK will carry it.

Just checked on that case, one website said it's due out 13th September so it should be out soon. Although being 100% silicone I wouldn't want it to stick to my pockets and pick up dirt....
given the choice I think I'd rather get the otterbox one, the amzer looks more like it would stop minor cosmetic damage such as scratches rather than a knock.

This looks great i bought the Case-Mate Tough Case for my Galaxy S and this looks very similar to it so i have now registered for an alert when it becomes available and think I'll get one as so far its one of the nicest and most practical looking cases I've seen for our Streaks as am currently using one of those Neoprene pouches off of E-Bay as a temporary solution..

That is because estimated shipping times are 1 - 2 weeks.
I ordered one last night.
I emailed them earlier to see when they become available to order from their site and if it will be available in the UK. Will post here if I get a response.
Which is considered to be the slimmest and best looking case? Defender,Impact or commuter from Otterbox? I think I am going to stick with the Amzer case it looks better to me. Here goes an updated photo on how the case looks. If you go through Amazon you can get it for 14.97.

Search Dell Streak Cases and you will see the Amzer cases for sale. The funny thing is that there are two sellers listing the silicon cases one for 6.97 with free shipping and the other for 24.95. Maybe this is Amzers supplier on the Dell Streak cases.

Having looked at the Amzer case and the Otterbox one I think I'm going to get the Otterbox as it looks more capable of transfering shock away from the device.
The other Otterbox cases as posted by barry99705 will be interesting too. I'm going to wait and see what they look like when the pics go up.
Do a search for "Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case For Dell Streak 5." Amazon USA has them for $15.00 (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...icone+Skin+Jelly+Case+For+Dell+Streak+5&ajr=0). A website from India carries all 10 colors (http://time2shop.in/en/dell/99-amzer-silicone-skin-jelly-case-for-dell-streak-5-mini.html), but Amazon only carries 4 colors. This case puts the rest of those silicon cases to shame. Appears to not add too much to the mighty Streak's slim profile. Buying the green one. eBay only has the ones for Streak 7.
This vendor is the only one I could find on eBay with the Amzer cases for the 5 inch Streak. I have never dealt with that seller.

LOL, I have just the opposite problem. I have a Streak 7 and accidently ordered a black silicon case for a Streak 5. It even came with a screen protector.

I've been looking at the recommended cases on here & most are only available in the US. I found this on ebay uk, I haven't received it yet. The picture of it in packaging looks uninviting but if you scroll down to the other pics & watch the video (an English bloke in his front garden lol) it actually looks quite good. Because of one side being spring loaded it should fit the Nexus 7 perfectly. It has a magnet closure & can function as a stand. :fingers-crossed:
They also give the exact dimensions that it will take. Colours are limited to blue (yuck) pink (yuck) black & brown.

I figure if I don't like it it will at least keep it safe until they get some proper dedicated Nexus 7 cases on the market. Or start to sell the offical case on the UK Google Play shop.

I'm just after a sleeve for mine. I currently have a Belkin pleat sleeve for my Kindle and it's really nice. It allows me to just use the Kindle "bare" without any extra bulk or weight from an additional case, and then to protect it whilst moving about.
Keeping my eye out for a similar sleeve for the Nexus 7 and I'll post here if I find one.
I received the case this morning & it is pretty good for the money. I won't be able to properly assess it until my Nexus 7 arrives. I'm hanging out for a TPU case.
