[Q] What rom should I choose?

I saw various roms released from samsung. Question is ... wich one? XXKL7, XXKL8, XXKK9, DXKL3, XXKL3 ? What is the difference between this? My original software was XXKK9.

I think u should.go.with kl7, because i guess thats the most talked avout one. I personally upgraded to kl7 and its good

KL8 is the latest.

this two are not rootable yet... But this is not a problem. What news brings this new roms?

Yeah you should totally upgrade to KL7, mine was also KKA, after upgrading I've seen notable improvement in term of smoothness and performance.

checkrom has been working great so far.
too early to tell about battery issues since it takes a while to for the battery to calibrate itself.

I suggest you stick with KL7/KL8 ROMs.
Don't know if KL8 is rootable, or if any custom ROM is using it right now.

Stock KL8, feels smoother than KL7 for me. And yes it can be rooted.

Switch from German ICS to NZ ICS

I think I may have an imported "German" Galaxy Note that has a German ICS ROM. Is it possible for me to switch to a NZ ICS ROM? Do I just have to download the NZ ROM software from a website?

Im in NZ makes no differance as I have tried most roms from cm 9 cm 10 and the latest 404 have no issues with connections or gps lock etc Moved off NZ roms as always the last to get updates it seems

if you want to upgrade your android version to 2.3.6 you could just download Samsung kies - connect it via usb and update firmware. there's plenty of tutorials on it.
if you want to flash a new Rom. im not the right person to help you
