Merge APK and ODEX files into one... - Motorola Droid Bionic

I know that is deodexing. My issue is that I want to make just one set of files like that. Blur alarm clock APK and ODEX. I am running Droid Th3orys ICS AOKP and LOVE it. However I find the stock alarm app lacking compared to the alarm clock app that comes stock with Blur. I have a .902 system dump. Is there anyway to combine the APK and ODEX from that and just install it as an app or drop it in the system folder?I know it don't work it I just drop it in there with the odex. I have tried with other apps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

[Q] Alarm timer references to other folders?

Samsung Fascinate
DL09 Super Clean 0.4 ROM Adrynalyne's test kernal v5
replaced the AOSP Clock with the stock clock... couple of issues/questions
1)
Still trying to get the stock clock to work right. The timer alarm doesn't sound, and this seems to be true on all dev ROMs. Have tried several kernals.
What I did notice, is that if the phone is on vibrate... well, it vibrates. So what I'm wondering is, is there somewhere it is looking for the alarm? Somewhere that may have been deleted when I went from stock, to a dev. ROM? I do see in the clockpackage.apk, androidmanifest.xml, lines regarding each function, but I can't translate.
I noticed there is no .odex file for this. I don't even know what an odex file is, do I need it? Or worst case, can I rewrite the .apk to fix this?
2)
When I set the AOSP clock to DockAlarm.apk.old, the alarm time was still showing up on the lockscreen? Even after a restart!? Which makes me wonder where is that info stored? My dirty fix was to reactivate the app, and remove all alarms, then re-.old it. (think I found it... /data/data/com.android.deskclock but not sure if I can delete it without breaking the phone.)
However, the stock clock alarm does not show up on the lockscreen, which I did think was a nice feature... can I point the lockscreen to /data/data/com.sec.android.app.clockpackage? (stock alarm)
Thanks for any help...

Stock Deodexed system/framework for VZW Tab

I've looked all across the net and can't find anything...
Does anyone have a deodexed system/framework folder for the VZW Tab that has the STOCK notification bar and everything else?
I'm all deodexed and my notifcation bar is pissing me off. Its whatever Boushh likes, I used his deodex method.
Thanks -Jeff
ill throw in beer money
If you download metamorph from the market and apply THIS with it, you can have a black notification bar. Apply THIS zip, it will make it white. For the default gray I can't help there unfortunately, if someone gives me the stock (odexed) framework I can deodex it though
What file do you need? Framework-res.apk? I can pull it out of my pre-deodexing backup. Also Boushh, don't misunderstand my slightly snotty comment. I have no issue with your taste in notification bar transparency, it just is odd to me. All your work has made my Tab an excellent little device.
EDIT: I guess I don't know how to open the system.img on my Mac.
I got off my lazy unemployed ass and edited the framework myself. Disregard this thread.

it would require editing the framework, remove an existing lockscreen and add the xml from the old one, along with the image resources and a bit of troubleshooting and a blown weekend or two.. but it would be possible.
or you try a lockscreen replacer app, like miLocker or WidgetLocker

On another note, is it possible to install a live wallpaper .apk from KK4 on ICS? I tried a bunch of things with the individual .apk, but do I need the whole livewallpapers.apk or something else to do it?
Try out milocker...I know it has the Galaxy puzzle piece unlock and a bunch of others!!

Need some help from the Devs

So I have been trying to add some mods to my systemui that I had in my note 3 s6 port those mods consist of memory cleaner in in notification panel, potato clock and 3minit battery, so the issue is every time I compile my new apk then drop in the meta folder i load the new apk and all I get is a black baground and no status bar. I even took all the modded files and and dropped them into the original apk and same thing. I am using apktool 2.0.3 like I have been and for the life of me cant figure it out really starting to [email protected]$# me off lol. Very new to the note 4 so if any of you vets have any advice on what I might be doing wrong that would be greatly appreciated. Im going to try one mod at a time to rule out any bad coding in my xml files to see what might be causing the issue.:good::highfive::good:
Just wanted to share some findings, I took a pure stock(no mods no nothing) UI decompiled it then recompiled, took the recompiled and added the meta folder and from the stock UI and still get black home screen and no status bar so Im thinking it might be the apktool version I am using any one have suggestions on what they are using?
no body lol I know the masters out there saw this post:good::highfive::good:

Can anyone fix this APK to work on 7.0?

I have a Touchwiz APK that I used with AlexisXDA's A8 port (6.0/MM).
I'm now using his Nougat v1.2 ROM and I want to use it.
This APK made the app drawer icon a fingerprint and I could have 5 apps next to it (rather than 4).
The other thing is, it had within the drawer 5 apps across and 6 down (30 in total).
I've tried a few different methods to no avail. I'm posting this here for anyone who wants it but also if someone can 'edit' it? As I'd like for it to work with Nougat, but IDK how it works TBH.
To use, place in /system/priv-app/Touchwiz folder and set permissions to 644
Don't forget to keep your old one. Just rename it .bak
Any help would be very much appreciated
