Good luck! Do you have screenshots, more info, or a general idea of when you'll release?
Looking forward to it. Maybe it'll peel me away from IceCream Sense. If it's super smooth and gets great battery life, it's my kinda ROM.
Glad to see another dev on board. I flash a new ROM every few days, so you'll be getting some bug testing from me here and there.

id like to see this one too...
dont most use the runnymeade as a base for 3.5?
any reason for using bliss/rhyme instead?
me tooo i wanna try it
Well I went for the HTC rhyme/Bliss base because I thought it looked decent and because only one port of the Bliss has been done

Because some things never got fixed....and full Sense 3.5 was ported shortly after...many saw it as a no point to continue thing. But hey if you can get something good going more power to ya.

I'd actually like to see this, I kinda like the Rhyme Sense a little. Be nice to have something different for a while too

I hope you manage to incorporate wallpaper scrolling. That's the only thing keeping me from jumping aboard the sense 3.5 train.
I've been looking for a pure bliss ROM, I really liked the quick launch and Rosie from it and all the 3.5 ROMS that have it ported are buggy when it comes to the quick launcher and Rosie....

I'm looking forward to this as well. I've moved on to the Rezound, but I use my Inc as a music player and WiFi web/Tapatalk browser from time to time.
The 1st Bliss ROM is where the whole Next-Gen Sense 3.5 thing really got started.
My biggest hope for this ROM is that the camera:
A) Takes great pics without FC
B) Doesn't default to some picture mode that the Inc can't support due to hardware limitations
C) Can shoot and playback 720p video
D) Sets its default storage location to SD card, and not EMMC
Best of luck to you sir!
My girl has the Rhyme. Any chance of you Devving on her phone as well? It's a great little phone, but I don't think they spent enough time on the ROM. One critical thing they didn't think about was stability.
Speaking in a very general and broad kind of way, guys will sacrifice a little stability for cutting edge features and blistering speed. Gals generally just want something cute and quick that works... all the time. There are a few bugs with the rhyme that annoy the Hell out of my poor girlfriend.
Good luck to you on your rom buddy, if you need any help just come and ask, I'll help out if I can.
Oh and why do you people vote down a thread before it even has a chance to show what its worth? Dont make no since. Could have waited until there was some content to at least voted. None the less, I voted it back up.

As for hardware requirements, you'll need a dual-core smartphone with at least a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. You'll need 2GB of storage free as well, plus USB host mode and HDMI out (MHL adapters will work, Canonical tells us), plus video acceleration. Older phones need not apply, basically.

do we have working MHL adapters for this phone? i havent checked because...well, i dont need one, lol
or USB host mode for that matter?
not to mention, the ones they really want to work with are the Manufacturers...so that all the requirements can be implemented into the handsets. it would be nice if something comes of this, but i dont hold my hopes up too much.
The mhl adapter for the EVO 3D works with our phone. I've been using it for two weeks now

honestly, if there were drivers for the n6 and kitkat, it would be easy to do. but drivers for the n6 and kitkat do not exist. and writing/compiling them from scratch would be nearly impossible.

What makes you think that different drivers would even be necessary? There is nothing that is fundamentally changed in the structure of the drivers from 4.4 to 5.x that would even make it *difficult* to get 4.4 running on the drivers we have.

We are not going to get all the features in Pixel in 7.1. Im hoping after someone does get an unlocked version we can get the features. But it looks like it will only be exclusive to Pixel phones including the launcher
May I ask will Nexus 6 get any more security updates as they come down or no?
Or after Nougat thats it plain and simple?
Thanks In advance
The Launcher is an app. I'm already using an older version of it.

After 7.1 that will be it for the 6 i believe. They say the 6 is iffy on getting the 7.1 and it will be a dev preview if we get it and it will be before end of year.

The new launcher will be hard to get until someone gets the phone then im sure we will have it
who cares about updates?
If the phone runs fine, has great specs, and dev support, no one cares about any of this update non sense..
Do you REALLY care if you get the Pixel launcher on this phone, when Nova already blows it away??
Security updates???? You root your phone, don't you, so you obviously dont care that much about "Security"
This obsession with "updates" is really nothing more than a learned dysfunction...

So, I get it, the Pixel is too expensive for me too. But so was the 6 and the 6P. I bought the 6 after it's been out a year. And the Pixel XL is obviously a good phone, even if we disregard all the PR rubbish they said. Well I couldn't give a critter's backside for the Google Assist, but if it sells more phones, good for them. But the camera is superb for the first time, and the screen looks great, and it's optimized for that hardware. That means a no lag Android phone.
If all the above is true, then it should compete with the Galaxy S, and the iPhone line.

It was already mentioned yesterday from the SVP of Google that we will not see all the Pixel exclusive features in 7.1 unless you buy that said phone. They may agree later to expand to other phones just not sure
aside from the better camera, I am not sure many real Nexus "fans" care about any of the so called "features" of 7.1 or the Pixel line itself..

I caved, and was sick and tired of problems. I had 4 S7Es, 2 Nexus, and 2 S5s, my boyfriend's on his 2nd LG, my friend's S7E has extremely bad screen burn. My daughter has never had an issue with her iPhone. I went out and bought one. If I can't have root, I might as well have an Apple. At least the battery isn't dead by lunch.

Does your AT&T plan include tethering? Because I'm pretty sure the iPhone checks to make sure you are allowed before turning it on as well.
That said, I'm also bummed about the root situation, but for other reasons. I did find a pretty good firewall in NetGuard, and (ironically) the Package Disabler app that only works on Samsung devices was able to disable most of the bloat. Only the ability to backup and restore individual apps (or even just their data) is missing, and why I still wish I had root.
(yes, I know I can use ADB for some backups, but I'm not sure downgrades are possible that way)
