Both are GB custom roms. You can straightaway flash it in CWM.
Yes you can but its always better to do reparation with stock rom to avoid any conflict and errors.

I know that i can only flash stock GB in odin. But im on about GB rom. IE:custom not stock.
p.s not a noob or a newbie been on xda a long time
Odin to flash stock, to any version from any version always odin for stock.
Except if you own a deodexed flashable stock rom with ext4 file system (so it isn't really stock), then you can flash it with cwm recovery without getting corrupted system partition.
The thing is, custom roms have ext4 file system, wtock roms have rfs. You have to convert the file system before flashing stock or restoring stock rom backup. The easiest way to do this is odin.
Guys please guide me how to revert back to GB from Parandroid v 0.5 (CM9 based ROM) as I again want to flash Stock ICS ROM. I am missing S-Note very much. My Baseband is DDLK1 (Indian ROM). Can I use directly PC Odin to flash GB stock ROM. Previously i flash rootable GB rom, rooted using Dr. Ketans guide and flash Parandroid v0.5 through CWM 5.5.04. Please help.

Since you are on an ICS ROM, just ensure that your kernel is safe. I would suggest as you rightly said to revert back to GB & then flash an ICS ROM. You can use pC Odin for the same. You only need to follow Dr. Ketan's Guide for the same. Just check his signature for the link. Dont forget to Thank him.

What kernel do you have? by the way there is official JB now
You can use PC odin to install ICS stock.. but will beed wipes before that so make sure you have safe kernel ..
I have philz kernel. So can i just flash stock ICS rom over jb rom?
if you have philz kernel.. first boot into recovery and .. then Philz settings > clean before new rom install...
once done.. choose advanced and reboot download
this will put the phone in download mode.. connect to pc and flash rom using odin
Ok thanks i will try
Ok.. by the way there is official JB now.. why you going to ICS?
Maybe I'm or i just I don't know something but you say I can just flash official firmware over leaked version yes?
yes. but its recommended to perform wipes
So last week, to save my near bricked device I used PC Odin to Flash a GB Rom. The device works fine now, with all root privileges. I ran titanium backup and installed all of my apps from the previous rom. But i can't seem to install a new rom using the recovery mode route. Whenever I try to install a new rom (GB, ICS OR JB) using recovery, I get boot loop or get stuck on the setup screen. Info on the rom I'm using right now -
Build Number- Gingerbread.XXKJ1
Baseband Version N7000XXLB2
Kernel Version- [email protected]#2
Android Version- 2.3.5
I want to install an JB AOSP rom. Please give me step by step instruction on how to do it.
First update the stock firmware to JB and then flash the compatible PhilZ kernel and try flashing. Flashing on ICS or JB is more secure and safe.

How do I update to JB?? I went to settings>>About Phone>>Software update>>Update. It says no update available.
Flash a stock JB ROM thru ODIN. Read dr.ketan's thread in original Android development forum and download an ICS/JB stock ROM from there or sammobile.com and flash using ODIN. Do NOT do any wipes on the GB stock kernel, may ruin the device.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
the 2nd post has the GB roms.
Also visit sammobile.com for more ROMs, in case the ROM for your region isn't there.
