I want to record video immediately without going through the camera app first to switch On videorecording.
I tried maybe all videorecording shortcuts from the Market but they all strangely limit the resolution to QVGA(320x240)
Please somebody share a solution.... thanks

Hi,
I am using a TW-based ROM (Criskelo) and I'd like to disable the screen capture sound without having to completely mute the phone.
Preferably I'd rather not delete the actual sound file as I'd have to do it whenever I upgrade the ROM.
I already did something similar to mute the camera sound with a Tasker profile, but I can't see a "screen capture" event or app in Tasker.
Have I missed this in Tasker?
Thanks!

You can cut it from its original location and paste it to another location usimg root explorer. Whenever you upgrade it you can put it back to its original location. As simple as that.

Is there a way to automate that with Titanium backup I wonder? I'd really would like to avoid too many manual tweaks after each upgrade, especially if I don't upgrade for a while I'll forget all this...

You can mute camera shutter sound by going in camera settings.
Screen shots sounds will be gone too.

Ah indeed the ICS Camera App has a Shutter sound Off setting, but it doesn't turn off the screenshot sound on my ROM (Criskelo)

Hi,
I want to combine the timer function of the camera app with the HDR function but that seems to be impossible. Any suggestions?

Hi.
I'd like to know if I can change the app that opens when I use the physical shutter on the Z1 from the stock camera app to one that I've downloaded. Thanks.

I want to create a profile that maximize the brightness when i launch lg g4 stock camera, but camera won't trigger the profile. I believe it is a common issue with lg g4 camera, because there are some compliants about this in some other sites too. What i wanna know is if it is possible to make camera app to trigger profile any other way. Thanks in advance.

That's strange, are you sure you picked the correct "camera" app while inside the application context?
Yes, i did. I also installed google camera to test if i did something wrong with the profile, but I didnt. Gc triggers, but lg g4 camera wont.
A workaround could be to create a task that opens camera, changes brightness settings. Then make a shortcut on home screen or triggered by gesture. Not sure about restoring the brightness settings, tho.

interesting. this could actually be perfect if it can restore the brightness back. can anybody think of a solution for that?

Only thing I can think of would be if tasker actually responded to your cam closing. But that's a stretch, seeing as it won't respond to the app starting.
Desperate bump
Actually, for an exit, how about a shake gesture? You can set it to return system brightness levels and close the app. And if you happen to shake the phone while not using the cam, it won't really effect anything.
