You need to update Atom Launcer to make it run. Apart from that you would probably tweak the dpi setting in Settings / PA Settings to 220 or some apps might get whiteouts. Havent found any bugs yet, really smooth and nice. Oh, dont forgett.. I'm not a gamer on my toy, he, he.
On U9000 you'd probably flash softkey fix as well.

You were on sharp mod right?! Last I've heard you needed the multi tasking that GB had, what made u come back to ICS?

I never reverted back because I was to lazy to go through Sutlr stuff again and I ran latest IceCold Sandwich before this here rom. Both IceCold and this rom is pretty good at multitasking!
Sent from my FIH-FB0 using xda app-developers app
Note: Camera is worse, more twisted picture than other ICS. Use 3:d party app, was OK with Instsgram. No video, known.

You don't have to use SUTLR. Can just flash through CWM. Also how do these two ROMs compare with each other?

Between this and IceCold my personal feeling is this is smoother and less lag , might be kernel. Just my 2 cents...

CK 4d doesn't go into deep sleep.
Installed the latest update last night.
Installed the latest update last night. with Abengial's kernel.
Observed :
Great smoothness
ATOM launcher updated (manually)
DPI adjusted to please my eyes
Google contacts sync ok but no pics. (did someone else also faced this ?)
I felt this kernel is better then CK's 0.4d , CK's kernel seems to develop memory hog over few hrs and then randomly reboots.
No wifi sod so far, No DS issues (I installed holo for it is lighter then Atom)
Reading Chris comment on this rom I thought I should come out of my self imposed ics exile cos I've been on sharp mod gb after several flaws of ice on our device but I must say that this rom looks promising. Quite smooth, handles multitasking quite reasonably well. Though still testing...
Any available fix for soft key lights. Its not come on and makes it a lil difficult to use in the dark.
Cheers guyz

I think it is enabled in auto light mode...

Chris, is there any need to flash latest update of andrino ics drivers to get better game performance or its already included by aben.
Also thinking of flashing awesome beats audio, don't know if you or anyone as tried that yet.

Just downloaded and ran it, I really like it so far too it's awesome that recent apps works and when you disable softkeys it's a nice look although the screen seems a little small

Not yet I don't think, theres more to sense than just the launcher. I'm sure theres a senseless rom somewhere in the works.
Thank you. I like how minimal sense is but the screen is pretty big and I love customizing the heck outta my phones. Having control over things like icons, icon arrangements, and the grids on the screen.

Wow there, I'm not that good, I'm still a beginner, and plus the building from source didn't go well, so I'm gonna ask Apant for more help.
A fully working Miui Gingerbread would be cool.
Toasted marshmallow ROM would be nice

All the devs did, but weren't successful because of compatibility issues with the hardware. :L

Lol great minds think alike. some features like tilt scrolling, floating windows or maybe a spit screen browser, and the video player like in cams last rootbox build, add a playstore opion on the launcher, add the new s-voice, leave Google search optional and not an system app since I find useless via bluetooth at the moment does the same thing as voice dialer, an alarm clock widget, and that cell broadcast feature. would be awsome.

I heard liquidsmooth is really good and with a matr1x kernel it is amazing. I've also heard (if you want kernel suggestions) that franco kernels are legit.
Yea but franco doesn't make kernels for this phone

for the past couple days after < lkspooky > mentioned it i have been using the super nexus 4.2 rom with the 3.4.63 white screen fix kernel camcory posted in the aoip thread, that with ram managers swap file feature and adw launcher ex for the extra features that super nexus dont have.
i must say i am very very impressed, awesome battery life, very fast and smooth, i have not had any problems so far and if you can live with the loss of a few features then you should try this.
@lkspooky, thanks alot, i love it...

dont know if it is the kernel that has to do with the build.prop or what but you can switch sd cards by editing the build.prop like with aoip, and it works...
Any word on when they will get the gps working? I use my phone as a nav, so that's important to me. I'm going to try it out, though. Your recommendation is pretty good. Thanks.

That's awesome. I downloaded it last night. i'll give it a shot. Thanks for letting me know.
it's OK, but aoip allowed for more home screen customization. I can't change text colors or clock style. I'll mess with it and see. cool so far, tho.

im more for performance, stability and battery.
the extra features are nice but i can live without them.
but you get some back by using a different launcher and other things here and there.

If you post a comment and want to delete it, XDA doesn't let you delete the entire post only the contents. I said something about trying what you guys mentioned but just ended up back to AOIP so it was a moot point.

even the GB roms needed to be recharged during the day? I'm getting over a day out of the battery, despite heavy use. super nexus has been great, so far.

Yeah it's a pretty fast ROM being so lightweight, but I miss the other features too much since I got used to them. Viper wasn't totally compatible either. That being said for a no frills, fast ROM this is pretty decent. @Tim1928 always did good things for our phone ever since CM7.
