Dear all,
I have flashed .sense ROM sucessfully.
Thanks to bengamin and bigbear for their great support.
It is working as smooth.
Great work.
Cwm 5.0.2.7
I hereby write what I did.
1. Flash clockworkmod recovery in rom manager, it was downloaded and updated to 5.0.2.8
2. After this I rebooted in recovery mode but no luck it stayed with Htc white screen.
3. Then rebooted normally, in rom manager flashed using all clockworkmod recoveries. It throws a message saying your phone is wildfire s, after which it downloaded and installed to 5.0.2.7. Now it boots in recovery mod

Hey Guys,
This may be a stupid question but here goes... Hopefully it doesn't upset a MOD
I manually installed CWM on my Incredible S, later I got ROM manager. When I start rom manager it tells me that I don't have CWM installed, but I have 4EXTRecovery v2.1.0 RC1. Is there something I'm missing and... what would happen if I loaded ROM Manager and click the install Clockwork Mod button?? I'm a little nervous about trying it and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
All CWM does is put an update.zip file in your SD card. When you reboot into recovery through rom manager it flashes the update.zip and you use clockwork mod recovery. When you reboot into recovery again you will be back at 4EXTRecovery.

Awesome thanks. I'll give it a shot, as long as it doesn't mess up my 4EXTRecovery it shouldn't be a big issue, thanks for the help!!!

Here you go: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=660705&stc=1&d=1311262388
download that file and place it on your SD card.
Reboot into recovery and install the ZIP file from your SD card.
Enjoy
Thx a lot ! Awesome !

Just noticed I think ROM manager actually permenantly replaces 4ext recovery. You can always reinstall 4ext with a .zip file though.

I noticed that as well and I reinstalled 4EXT after. Not a big deal, thanks again for the help.
if you have EXT4 installed and IMO it's by far the best recovery available for us then once in rom manager use the manual flash over ride option rather than installing CWM

So I just rooted and flashed cm7 using this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337105
Now, it installed rom manager on my phone and also, this method flashed Revolutionary clockwork mod on my phone. the version is: 4.0.1.4
Now in rom manager, I want to use the back up option etc and for that it says I need to flash clockwork mod.
My question is, would it do any damage if I were to flash clockwork mod from rom manager although I have it installed already?
Thanks in advance

If you update CWM using ROM Manager, it should overwrite the Revolutionary CWM version with the latest version.
Are you sure? I tried it, takes a really long while

I tried doing it. It just hangs. I mean the display doesn't turn on and that's it. I waited for about 5 minutes. Nothing happened. Although when I popped out the battery and put it back in, it worked okay but the version of CWM is the same. The one from Revolutionary as I mentioned above!

Ok then just flash the latest CWM recovery from FASTBOOT USB mode using the command:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Also you can just boot into recovery and perform a backup without using ROM Manager.
Thanks a lot man! Really! Couldn't thank you enough. Got it done!
Hey guys
I've flashed the CWM 6.0.1.4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1852725) bu now I'm unable to do anything in my device, the recovery works but I can't reboot into system, it only reboot into recovery.. I flashed CWM 5.0.26 via Odin but nothing happens, still reboots into 6.0.1.4. Pls, someone can help me with this? Is my phone bricked now?
If you have on your SD card CWM 5th it can be installed by CWM 6 which now have and abductions reboot system now, then you start CWM 5 and ate with reboot system now ...

After i flashed it i learned that i actually cannot even get to recovery due to that fact that it just stays on the HTC logo. How can i fix this?

What version did you install? The latest version from their thread? The new touch drivers don't work with older versions.

I installed twrp 2.6.3.0, I have now installed ClockworkMod Recovery 0.5, but again the touchscreen will not work
I found a new clockwork recovery, thankyou
Had same issues when I first used TWRP along with crashing errors so I stuck with what I know best CWM
