I was wondering if there would be a possibility to add other audio codecs to the pre-installed music player. I desperately want to play some .flac audio data and have the beats audio enhancer on at the same time. Now, if there isn't any possible way to add audio codecs, is there to change the player and have beats on at the same time???

When i try playing my mkv files i see those with DTS audio do not have any audio played. Is there a coded or anyway to get DTS audio to play on the phone in mkv or video files?

Turn it on with a track playing, turn it off and listen to the same song, sound worse? Good.
But i think srs is better then beats (there is more bass and treble)

try the trinity ROM, worth it a try if you have the Beats earphone
Firstly, you must install Nik_IncredibleS_TriNiTy_SensationXL ROM. After that, you go to the music player and select sound enhancer. You must select no effects first then change to beats audio. If you change from srs to beats, it will not work
Does cm7 have sound enhancers in the rom? Can't seem to find anything in the default music player.

With beats audio built in, will YouTube and Pandora use beats?
With my EVO3D those media players override beats.

Beats is enabled when Youtube clips are played.
When anything is being used that emits sound (Not Phone Calls, Ringtones, or Alert Tones) then (Provided turned on in settings) Beats audio Kicks in. Got mine this morning, and after doing all the Hard run by tests that i do on every handset i get, every app, game, video, sound i used brought up the Beats Audio sign in the Notification Bar,

Beats audio just isn't doing the job for me, I miss having DSP manager from CyanogenMod. Has anyone managed to get this working on their one?

I wonder this as well! DSP Manager doesn't seem to have any effect at all on my One.
It has always worked with my previous phones.
Poweramp works really well on the ONE and both Beats and EQ work together
Yes, it seems like it's not the One itself, but the Sense musik player.
DSP works with another music player I use.
I've been using the GPE ROM since the audio is better, and CM10.1, speaker buzzes at high volumes.
What's a good setting for DSP Manager to make it sound like Beats or not buzzy?
I'm running slimbean 7.2 when I was on 7.0 and previous builds DSP didn't work and audio was distorted at full volume but now on 7.2 DSP works and gain is lowered but can adjust with DSP, loving the crispness.
I'm using Apollo music player and works on Google play music too.

I notice that the various equalizers and volume controls don't work w/the HTC One music player. All the ones I've tried work fine w/Google Play Music player, but do nothing for the HTC One player. Are there any that work? The Beats On/Off is not good enough.
