I was using Tibu to try and unlink an app from the market. I kinda lept before I looked :banghead: and destroyed all my market links.
Now I can't see any apps purchased
or installed in my apps on the market.
I've tried market doctor in Tibu, flashing latest gapps, clearing cache. Also a complete reinstall of the ROM.
Any idea how I can get the market to see my apps again?.
Also I am logged in it notices my account.

Have you tried restoring your backups? That should bring back the market links unless you turned off that setting in the preferences. Also, have you tried downloading a free app? Sometimes that causes the market to "refresh" itself. I actually have the opposite problem where I can't get a market link to stay destroyed!
In Tibu, hit menu, market tools, market doctor.
Then go to settings, applications, manage applications, all, market, and clear data.
Then you open the market you'll have to accept the end user agreement again, and all should be golden
Tried the free app. Didn't work.
No joy with market doctor and clearing cache either.

My mistake it was data I cleared. Still can't see my apps. New old or paid.
I wonder if I install a different ROM would help?

I have this problem where usually when I download an app from Market to my device it fails to install. I'll have to download the app multiple times until it eventually installs. It's annoying and I'm sure I can't be the only one having this problem. Is there a fix?
+1
Its rather annoying.
Might have something to do with the anroid ID thing the market uses. lookup android ID changer
Settings>Applications>Manage Applications
Select the Market, clear the cache. That should fix the problem with apps not installing after they are downloaded.

yep that fixed it. I came here to report my findings but see youve beat me to the punch.
I own a nexus one, and after upgrading to gingerbread, some applications which are installed such as dolphin browser and soundhound are installed but are not listed as installed on the market and thus I don't get update notifications for them.
I tried to clear data on the market app to re sync the installed apps but it had been disabled on gingerbread
Can anyone shed some light please?
Thanks in advance,
Mark Cachia

You might be able to use Titanium Backup's "Market Doctor" function to re-establish the application links to the Market, though I believe that requires root.
Give it some times, they'll probably come back on it's own.
If not use Market Doctor like suggested, that might or might not solve it.
It has happened to me here and there and usually fix itself.
Another thing you can try is download an app, any app (something free that can be delete afterward) and see if that bring the missing apps back.
FIXED=Clear data in market.
Running cont. 5.3 and us tb to restore apps but they not showing in my market under my apps. Even if i search for a app that i have installed shows to install.

Try installing any free app and see if that fixes.
This happens to me every time I flash. I usually just have to uninstall one of my free apps and then reinstall it, and then my market gets sorted out.
No luck ... Installed a 2 free games and no show...
Fixed..;... Cleared data from market....Thanks.
Hi,
Almost all apps I have are missing from My apps on market, because I restored them via Titanium backup.
I can find all of them on market and they are marked as installed, but they still don't show up in My apps, which makes it impossible to update them.
Is there any way, besides reinstalling one by one (that would be really painful since I have about 100 of them), to bulk-add them back to market?
Go to settings, applications, manage application, all, market, clear history and cache. Should be job done.

That did it, thank you very much!
After searching the forum I cannot find the answer, so I am hoping someone has run into this issue as well.
Everytime I flash a ROM I restore my apps and app data from Titanium (no system data), which works fine every time. However, one of those times I decided to run the Market Doctor and "fix" the market links. What I forgot about before I did that is not all of my apps come from the Android market, some come from the Amazon market. So the apps from the Amazon market are now associated with the android market and show up as needing to be updated, which fails of course because some are paid apps on Android so the download/install is declined. I have tried uninstalling from Android and reinstalling from amazon, then restoring data only from Titanium, but the Android market still hangs on to them. Is there anyway to "unfix" what Titanium did via the Market Doctor? This also applies even after wiping and installing a new ROM because it is now associated with the Android market on their end, not only on my device of course. A wipe data of the android market doesn't work either.
Any thoughts? Thanks everyone!

Had the same problem but i use app manager now and it gives me the option to unlink the app from amazon but the funny thing is it still shows up randomly. So i gave up on it.

1) Open Titanium Backup
2) Go to the "Backup/Restore" tab
3) Find the App which is now wrongly associated with the Android Market
4) Long press on that App in the App list
5) Click "Detach from Market"
I don't know of any way to do this in bulk, but this is what's worked for me
