Hi, you have alot of Tutorials saying how to install customs roms, just make a small search over the forum =)
the issue is not finding custom roms, but how to flash the phone, or whatever is necessary to install custom roms
Man, don't be lazy. Go to the thread of your preferred custom ROM and the instruction is there at the 1st post.

My only advice is to read all instructions and carefully and if you get in trouble don't worry; there's always a way back!

Hi!
I got my hand on a LG Optimus 2X and I updated the ROM to ICS 4.0.4 using some LG soft, but now I wanna try other custom ROMs but I just can't root the phone.
I want so badly to try another ROM because I just dont like the Official ICS 4.04,but I`m a bit new to Android phones,I have spent many hours on finding a way to root my phone but without success.
I am a new in this forum but one thing I came to know that you should try search button before starting a thread...

Thank you verry much ashik992!
I`m really grateful as it worked perfectly unless the other methods!
I'm currently running Android v4.1.2 JB and I heard that the rooting method works only for older versions of Android.
I also heard that there is another method of rooting and I came across that thread which can be located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688 But it's too bad that I'm a total noob and I can't actually understand the thread...
Could someone please explain that method again so I can understand it, or perhaps link me to a new tutorial? Thank you. :good:
It's indeed a very simple procedure. I suggest that you read it again.
