OK so I flashed v20c and rooted it.now every hour I lose my data connection at first I had Rogers son so I restored default and deleted Rogers. everything was fine and the today I keep losing my data connection. And at times the speed is horrible.

My phone has been running horrible ever since I got into colorado(serendipity 5.9). It wouldnt send messages in the cabin when it said 4 bars of 3g.. I later that night flashed serendipity 6.2. Later the next morning I couldn't send or receive texts, or make a call when I had 4 bars of 3g.... I tried wiping data but I still have same problems in and out. I thought maybe its the phone cause other AT&T users around me aren't having any issues. Idk what it is... but im so pissed im about to go back to stock.... that's pretty bad..

How much data usage do you guys use each month tethering/on phone? I cant get any internet for awhile at my new house and started using the usb tethering option i was just wondering how much data i could use each month before at&t decided to take notice??i am still on the unlimited data plan and used 6gb last month... Thanks in advance for the replys!

My brother has unlimited data and tethers his xbox for online play and other stuff he normally does on his phone. He never hits 5gb. Although he doesn't use it for computers which I'm sure would use now data

just wanting to know if anyone with legit wifi hotspot is having issues with staying connected. it seems i can only stay on a couple mins. then i have to manually restart the hotspot. plus, half the time, when i turn off the wifi hotpsot my phone reboots. the only success i have had is using usb tethering. flawless and fast. just not happy with other issues. anyone having the same things happening? Edit. Verizon said to try a couple things and if they don't work wee will try a new phone.
Anyone have this issue?

i'm having issues
I always have with wifi and the marektplace only. Don't know if that helps but I downloaded the superuser update from the marketplace and fixed my wifi for about half a day. It works on the internet fine so i don't think i've having the same issues as you mine only doesn't use wifi on the marketplace. Must be some binary thing.

Had the issue before rooting. Had issue after rooting too.
I had this issue when I unrooted my phone.
There were a few apps not working right and causing me problems after unrooting.
I backed up my apks, then did a factory reset selecting to format my internal media area.
I lost all my settings, but I never had that problem again.

i just canceled my hotspot. it did work well with usb tether. i might do the reset thing cause i have other issues too
My phone keeps freaking dropping data constantly after going to .893 build and it's pissing me off. Tried refreshing vip, sim pull, and turning on data roaming, yet none works. Any suggestions would be lovely

I have the same issue... they have sent me 2 replacement phones with no change... I was thinking it might be a setting to manage data usage... but I haven't seen anything in the list of bugs

Data Loss and Unthrottled
I did the .893/Th3ory V2.0 thing as soon as it was all available. I was one of the first to report that my data issues were greatly improved. Living in the country I could only test it with the wifi to 3G hand off and it was working great and reconnecting to 3G really quickly if not instantaneously. Well, I went to town today and checked the 3G to 4G hand off and it was terrible. I had to do the Airplane mode thing twice before I got 3G back!! I was so disappointed. And then tonight I did a nandroid backup and after rebooting I went to Root Explorer to rename it so I would know exactly what it represented. I was in the process of typing the name and adding that it was unthrottled and that's when it hit me. The only difference from when the data hand off was working to when it wasn't working was UNTHROTTLED. I had run the script. I immediately went to the script and ran the restore and rebooted. And by the way, that reboot took forever. I really thought I was caught in a loop. But after it rebooted, the immediate hand off from wifi to 3G was back!!! I know this is only one data point, but it working right now for me (again!!)!!
Go back into cheesecake and snag the 5.6.893 update. GREATLY improves radio. Haven't had a SINGLE drop since running it, plus I usually have full bars.
Of course, the standard procedure still exists (stock, bloated, etc) and I'm not responsible if you mess anything up.

I've yet to receive any update, but I've been losing data it seems almost daily. It sucks having to power down then restart, I always lose apps & have to reinstall them.

Move those apps from the Media Area back to the phone app storage area and they will stop disappearing.

I have had this happen
In the last couple days ive had a few apps tell me i didnt have a connection to retry, but had 4g and could refresh and ir was fine..i recently changed roms from firekat to dynamic kat and thought maybe there was an issue related to a different rom. Thats the only coñnection problems ive seen and am trying to recreate it so i can try and pin point a problem

Every night at work around 2:30-3:00a.m. for just a few minutes
I have had this short but frequent data loss on 2 t.w. roms. I believe it's not the ROM but the location.I always lose data at my home.what do you guys think is causing this problem. Thanks In advance!!!
