Sent from my XPERIA X8 using XDA

ummm, what? I didnt understand your words....

Why relock your bootloader ? It's not necessary to retur on stock kernel...
And nwm ? What does it mean ?
For your answer.. I don't play on my phone, but try minicm7.. very stable and fast.. But need to unlock your bootloader to install naA kernel

but when i relock bootloader my wifi rebooting after 5-10 min...
Sent from my XPERIA X8 using XDA

Have you try LinuXperia Escha Arch V7 ? You can use it on stock kernel (search on the first post on the thread).
Ok, I don't like the default theme (fully transparent is hard for my old eyes...), but you can easily change it... And performances are very good

i try yesterday...crap for me...cynagonen settings ****...some settings dont work .... so how i can unlock bootloader with good wifi work?
Sent from my XPERIA X8 using XDA

My bootloader is unlock.. and my wifi works as fine as my bootloader was lock...
I don't think that unlock bootloader cause troubles with wifi...
To unlock, I used this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225

Which rom you are using to unlock bootloader
It only works with stock rom
that's false information you have given. It will also work with custom ROM 2.2 2.3 as well -at least as far as unlocking by using flashtool 0.5.3 is concerned.
They want you to stick with stock ROM 2.1 because there's less risk of screwing things up. There are various persons who have unlocked their bootloader using custom ROM such as gingerdx and gingerexperia.
There are never any official words that come out and say "don't use custom ROM" but if you look at the code where they patch things you only see that they need a stock kernel and rooted system to work with, nothing more than that!

[Q] Fastest rom (+battery saving)?

What is the fastest rom for X8 with stock kernel? Should also be battery saving and not ram consuming, but most important: FAST
I dont need a very good looking rom with fancy widgets and lots of functions or setting, just fast and battery saving

Thanks, i'll flash primehd tomorrow as you wrote: "there is going to be v5.4 for all kernels, I will finish up my last checkings and upload the files tomorrow."
So i dont have to flash 5.3 today and 5.4 tomorrow
Just to be sure....i just have to boot into cwm, do a full wipe and install primehds53 (or tomorrow primehds54) and then reboot and let it boot into primehd?
I'm asking this because there is a hotfix file too and somewhere i read that i have to install google apps and i dont know if the hotfix file is ment or not?!
thanks in advance........i'm really looking forward to using primehd
Cheers...

11W33 vs unlocking bootloader

Hey!!
I'm new on this forum. So I have rooted X8 (E15i) with 11W33 and I have GingerDX, but its slowly. I want to unlock bootloader for greater performance, but I read that bootloader unlock can permanently damage the phone. I search for safe roads to unlock phone, or better ROM for stock kernel. This phone Is my first with Android, so please understand me.
Dont try to unlock you wll brick ur phone. only below 11w29 its safe, above its playing with your luck:fingers-crossed:.
just try some stock kernel roms and find what suit you. i think dx is very good just update it or delete some unwanted apps that slow it down
if you want to check this support stock kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1237930
if you want to stay with dx you can speed it up by overclock it with this module that u can find it in his thread
(GingerDX Overclock Module (x8oc.ko v004) ) but dont set very high frequences.
thats not true
check this forum : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1506502
u can now unlock the bootloader above11w29+.
It is still 50-50% chance for 11w29-11w34 and above that through you're phone after trying it, only if you're very lucky you can have it work on 11w35+..
Sent by the walking walkman..
You can try, but there is a big chance that you end up with a hardbrick.

I dont want any chance to brick my phone. I tryed GingerDX + OC to 768 and governor performance but it's slowier than Stock rom. I downloaded unofficial MIUM rom and its quite faster, but still this is not good rom, i have only 20MB free ram, when i kill all apps.

Help Choosing Custom Rom

Hi, for the first time I'm planning to install a custom rom so infact I'm doing this only because of native app2sd support:fingers-crossed: but to be honest I want a full compatible custom rom which should support and run most applications from market and performance should be good just like the stock 2.1 if not better... and if possible then camera and all other major functions should be working in it without any bugs.
That's all I ask .. currently I'm thinking about :
cyanogenmod
GingerDX
GingerZaraki
but I don't know which one is better Don't really want to unlock bootloader / kernels unless really necessary..
Thanks in advance.

Unlocking bootloader & installing a custom kernel is highly recommended ( if u don't know how to unlock & required build date DON'T TRY IT)
Best rom for stock is Gingerdx (my opinion) very stable, smooth.
Camera, etc works fine & without bugs.
Native app2sd is also supported

If you can unlock bootloader:
Minicm7 is a good choice for day to day use, gaming.interface doesn't look pretty
iXperia 8s v1.9.0 is a perfect rom for gaming, high multitasking, much free ram, iPhone look you may like or hate it also fmradio doesn't work on this rom (& some other known bugs)
Minicm9 is quite stable (comparing to minicm9) needs swap partition for better responsibility, around 20% slower than minicm7, most of gameloft games force close (because of android 4) ,perfect interface (I love it)
Minicm10 is for experiences of jellybean , forget gaming , not stable (still in nightly versions)
,perfect interface (better than Minicm9)
If you can't unlock :
Gingedx & froyopro are perfect, very stable & smooth
