Need original firmware files of W8

I know I can simply just flash via SEUS/PC Comp but is there a file of W8 E16i 2.1.1.A.0.53 firmware files that can be used in flash tool? I can only find E15i 2.1.1.C.0.0

No, there are no FTF flash ROM images of the genuine W8 firmware around. The best thing you will be able to find, through Google, is a xRecovery backup of 2.1.1.A.0.46.
Best method would be ... restore your phone back to the original firmware though PCC/SEUS (whatever works for you). After the flash is done don't boot the device - fire up Flashtool, connect the phone in Flash mode and create a FTF image from the newly restored ROM. Once that's done verify your phone boots up correctly and then maybe upload the FTF image to share it with others looking for it.

Just looked at Flashtool - and - my bad ... the Backup option in the Advanced menu does not create a FTF (as I thought it would) but only backup /system/app.
In short - there's no easy way to create a FTF image directly from the phone.
The only two easy way would therefore be to pull a xRecovery backup from the E16i 2.1.1.A.0.53 firmware (which means that you have to boot, root and inject xRecovery - best done through Flashtool - to have a Flashable restore). Only downside is that this can't be easily restored through Flashtool if the phone is stuck in a boot-loop or whatever else soft-brick problem.

My BuildNumber is W8 E16i 2.1.1.A.0.53 but the Sony PC Companion still reads W8 E16i 2.1.1.A.0.6 and always requesting to update my phone...I download the xRecovery backup of 2.1.1.A.0.46. and restore it using xRecovery of my phone..

nice brooo for the help..
100% working and now on my way to solve xrecovery prob,just like other rest,cant get 1st boot.... flashing more exciting more than waiting on pc companion..

2.1.1.C.0.0 Flashtool FTF out of my MediaFire Folder
(Also contains a collection of GingerDX 013-022 and some other goodies in the "Sony Ericsson" folder - i.e. Basebands, PCC, SEUS, Flashtool (Hotfile downloads SUCK!), ...)

[Q] problem after i had run v6 supercharger.

i need a help here guys.i had run v6 supercharger on my w8 and once i completed the session the script ask me to reboot the do a superclean.But the problem is my phone currently stuck at SE logo and unable to enter xrecovery mode.This is what iam most afraid of when i cant enter the recovery.I believe there is a way solve the problem isnt?i guess by using flashtool and enter the flash mode and flash the rom rite?But i need a guide since it need a .ftf files. i dont know how to make a .ftf files. Ive download a stock rom and enter advanced>decrypt files but i cant browse the file.Gah, this is a hard brick isit?please guys i need ur wise advice.

I had the same problem as well, but I flashed the original 2.1.1.A.0.6 rom and everything was good. You can get it from this thread, within the Firmwares folder. Just download the zip file and extract it all out, run Flashtool, go to Advanced and then Bundle Creation. Select all the SIN files from where you extracted them, name the .ftf file anything, and then you're done. Just flash it on your phone and you should be good to go. That's how I fixed mine, anyway

How to Flash Stock 2.1 ROM using Flash tool for W8

guys, need help here.. my phone is softbricked and i want to use Flash tool to flash my stock 2.1 back to my W8... I tried SEUS and PCC it says no new software available to my phone wiered it worked for me earlier.
Please advise how to flash it via Flashtool and also links for the stock rom ftf.. if you have

hey....first thing u must download the flash tools and the .ftf files of your w8.....search for it.....in the forum you willl get if u don't pm me.......
Now, first thing is to install flashtool and update if provided.....
Second thing if the downloaded firmware files are .sin files put them at any folder and run flash tools the click on ADVANCED >>BUNDLE CREATION and wait for the process to complete.....
After the process is completed copy the .ftf file from that folder and paste it in
C;\\flashtools\firmware\your.ftf file
Now open flash tools and click on the black thunder icon....
and click ok button.....now select the .ftf u created .....
Now turn off your phone and press and hold back key untill green led is not seen....
Then the flashing process starts......
Enjoy.....

[Q] Need help installing stock kernel and firmware

I have X8 with 2.6.29.6- nAA -ics-04 kernel and MiniCM9-3.0.4-shakira installed.
Phone is turning off by itself and it's really slow so I would like to install stock rom.
I tried by PC Companion but it doesn't recognize device.
Can anyone help me with step by step instructions?
Can I just update with SEUS? I read somewhere that I should flash stock kernel first but I can't find how to.
I tried to search thread for this, but there's nothing for beginners.

Now I really NEED HELP PLEASE!
I copied Ginger DX rom on my SD card and install it, since thread said it runs with stock kernel and nAa kernel. (On other thread someone wrote that I need rom that supports both stock and nAa kernel for easier stock kernel install.)
Now my phone only shows Sony Ericsson start screen and that's it.I tried many threads for bricked phones but all links are broke and the ones I managed to download are not working.
So now I have W8 and X8 (E16&E15) Stock Kernel and X8i_2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_015, I also tried Xperia X8 (E15)_2.1 (2.1.1.A.0.6)_Greek (by Leajian) but all of them shows only Sony Ericsson start screen.
Also, when I connect to SEUS it says I already have latest software and I can't connect to PC Companion since I can't turn the phone on.
Please someone help me, I've been up with this all night and need my phone in the morning.

are you on stock kernel already? simply flash the stock ROM via flashtool. do NOT flash the kernel. then reboot. you need to have pcc installed too. and install the drivers in flashtool's /drivers folder.
edit: you need the stock rom .ftf file. not the baseband and kernel.
