How do I get clockworkmod on my tab? I know you can flash it via odin or mck, but where is it?
Koush website is not up anymore, and I can't seem to find odin, or the mck software...
Can anyone help?
Thanks on advance....
Take a search in this forum. You'll find it. Or you can use Paul's Modaco Kernal R3 which has CWM built-in.

Use MoDaCo kernel with EXT4 support and follow instructions. It converts system partition to EXT4 and installs CWM recovery that has full functionality and works.
I have been searching the internet for two days...and this forum. I have my tab rooted, and the bootloader patched..
With these kernels that I am supposed to flash, do I just place it in the root of the sd card and pray? There is definitely info, but it is outdated and confusion....

so finally got clockworkmod recovery on my galaxy tab....doesnt work. I can't get it past verifying file signature....... (please help).
I have the t-mobile galaxy tab, and kies doesn't connect to it.
I have installed and uninstalled kies so many times it isnt funny.
I have rooted the device, applied the bootloader patch. Because I can't seem to connect to the device....
Is there anything that you have to do differently for the T-Mobile version of the device?? I think a lot of these instructions that I am seeing posting on the board/forum are for international versions of the device....
Any suggestions? I am trying to flash the r1 mck rom with the online kitchen...

Go to modaco r3 kernel thread first and read the instructions. You have to flash the kernel first, the modaco r1 ROM
You can't flash with KIES. forget KIES.
You will need Odin for that
Here is a easier way to flash it.
Kernel
1.Download Modaco kernel here: http://android.modaco.com/content/s...aco-custom-kernel-for-the-samsung-galaxy-tab/
2. Extract it by using winzip or some extracting software.
Heimdall
1. Download Heimdall https://github.com/Benjamin-Dobell/Heimdall/tree/v1.1.1
2. extract Heimdall
3. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributables http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...5E-6DE6-4D3A-A423-37BF0912DB84&displaylang=en
4. Open Heimdall folder and open read me file.
5. Put tab into download mode by holding Power plus Volume Down
6. Open Driver folder and Install Zadig.exe drivers
7. Start Heimdall Frontend.
8. in the zimage section of heimdall browse from the extracted zimage and open. make sure zimage is checked
9. hit start button and it should flash the kernel.
The tab will turn off and hold down Power plus Volume UP and you should be in Clockworkmod
ClockWorkMod from ROM Manager
Perhaps this will help:
I installed ROM Manager & ROM Manger (Premium) from the Market.
Just make sure you have ROOT, then install ROM Manager & ROM Manager (Premium), run the app and choose "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" from the screen. It will install the current CWM. It worked fine for me. I have Roto JMG flashed on my Tab.

Now that is even easier than my long winded way.
Well, I have a problem... I am not new to flashing, rooting, etc. But I had never used heimdall before. I followed these instructions to the T and when I hit the START button, it gave a FAILED message.
The TAB then shut down and rebooted to a "phone, exclamation mark, computer screen and nothing is happening.
I have searched and found several threads, posts, etc. that say this is recoverable... but they were all for a Euro tab, and not the T-Mo.
I dont want to go too much further without knowing exactly what needs to be done. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am to be on a plane to Dubai in less than 6 hours.
Thank you kindly!
UPDATE: The good people at T-MO exchanged my TAB even though it was 2 days outside the 30 day return period.

I had the same thing happen once. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to flash. I don't know why.
What I did was turn it off and then put it back into download mode and flashed it again and it worked w/ no problems.
Did you get another tab or just return it. I have the t-mobile tab and used these instructions to a t and I have had no problems.
I was given a new Tab... Im going to wait awhile before I try again.
The issue was that I could not get in to download mode.
You could have just had a bad tab. I had problems several times when I had the sprint tab flashing but none so far w/ the t-mobile tab. Which directions did you follow.
I will tell you this, even though the T-Mo Tab is listed in the Rom Manager install, it DOES NOT WORK.
It shows as installed, but go ahead and try to use it... It fails with a signature failure.
I don't use it. I flash mine via CWM. I can tell you CWM works great that is built into modaco kernel.
Hi,
what about German Tabs? Rommanager, CWM is only for Verizon an T.Mobile USA ( i thinkso), installed CWM, but no start in recovery.....
And, why ALL new Roms use this EXT4 on SD-Card?? Is there no other way and easy way to make EXT4 Partition on sd? G-Parted has damaged my PC two times, so i have no interest any more to do it like this way.....
Is here still someone, German Tab is running well with CWM and EXT4?

I did this but I can't get CWM to work properly. It's not finding something it needs on E: and I do have an external card on my Samsung Galaxy Tab T-Mobile.

I just rooted my T-Mobile Tab that I got today, wanted to get CWM up and running and it will not run. Getting the same "E: Failed to verify whole-file signature"
I am running CWM from the Market and it says i have Version 2.5.1.8, and that it installs successfully, but it will not boot into CWM.
What am I doing wrong?
Could some one for benefit of Indian Tab Owners, write a step-by-step instructions or guide. Lot of information to digest for a new user including details of 1) rooting 2) installing recovery 3) flashing ... this information would be great useful for everyone.

Thank you for quick reply. I started compiling the files need to flashing. So far, I could do following. Please advice me whether I am on the right path or not.
1. Rooted my tab with Z4root. Now I got root permission.
2. Downloaded Odin3 v1.7.exe and s1_odin_20100803.pit for flashing
3. Downloaded Roto-JMI-Full-v2.zip and Roto-JMI-Upgrade-v2.zip
Now, using Odin PDA button, I want to flash Roto-JMI-Full-v2.zip ?
Few questions:
a) Is this correct way of flashing or I am missing something?
b) Does above flash install Recovery also ?
c) which files need for PHONE and CSC files ?
d) Which firmware best suitable for Indian Tab ?
Thank you in advance for clarifying above.
I really appreciated reply for my questions as it would allow me to move forward. I will ensure a good documentation at the end of the process for benefit of other users.

Install Adfree or something which requires root acess for installation. Once rooted download something like root explorer from market which allows you to backup the modem.bin file. Or me or somebody else can just upload the file here.
Read the post/link in the thread where you downloaded Roto's JMI rom.
Use the .pit file from Roto's link not the thing which you posted...same place where you got the same ROM file. If you are flashing first time/from another rom then use the Full v2 zip file. Else use Update v2 when flashing from one of Roto's rom.
Connect the tab to your pc, reboot and go into download mode...press power+vol down button while rebooting...a yellow triangle icon with an android digging will come up...to get out of download mode, just keep the power button pressed till it rebooted normally.
Once in download mode, open up Odin and check that the yellow com box option is on. Check repartition option to ensure everything is wiped and you have a fresh install from scratch.
For PIT select the pit file downloaded from roto's link
For PDA select the Full.tar file
For PHONE select the modem.bin file
For CSC leave it blank...
Once done, recheck and hit start.
PLEASE CHECK ROTO'S JMI V2 THREAD IN THE DEVELOPEMENT SECTION...it has a link to howto which is old but gives some idea of how to proceed...for pit, pda, phone follow as I suggested and things will go fine...

I followed the steps after flashing 'full' tar, it rebooted tab, started the normally. After that, I verified that, all applications , phone (GSM) and wifi working fine.
Now my question is do I really need to flash *second* tar file ? what is it for ?
^^No. It is only for people upgrading from previous versions! You are good to go!
Now, I want to install CWM recovery. Please some one can confirm below steps:
1. Make sure to have Samsung Kies installed, and your tab at least connected once, to be sure the drivers are correct.
2. Your Tab must be Rooted.
3. If you wish to do a backup, now is the time.
4. You will need an SD Card with enough free space for the filesystem conversion, and to put the Overcome ROM on before we start. (An empty 4gb should be plenty, as long as it is empty, or close too)
5. Download and Extract the following file to your computer: http://www.apksmash.com/corodius/galaxytab.zip (Contains "Odin3 v.1.7.exe" "Overcome_Kernel_v1.0")
Now, we will Install the Kernel and perform the EXT4 filesystem conversion.
1. Turn off your Galaxy Tab.
2. Turn your Galaxy Tab on into DOWNLOAD mode (Press Volume DOWN and Power On at the same time).
3. Open Odin3 v1.7.exe on your PC.
4. Connect your Galaxy Tab to your PC via the USB cable.
5. Make Sure the ID:COM box is highlighted yellow (meaning it sees your tab).
6. Click on the PDA button and select the Overcome_Kernel_v1.0.tar file you downloaded earlier (make sure PDA is ticked after selecting the file).
7. The only boxes ticked should be:
A. Auto Reboot
B. F. Reset Time
C. The PDA tickbox
8. Click start and wait for PASS! to show highlighted green on Odin.
9. Your Galaxy Tab will Reboot, and get stuck on the Samsung Boot Screen. This is fine.
10. Turn your Galaxy Tab off by holding the power button for about 5 seconds.
11. Turn your Galaxy Tab on into RECOVERY mode (Press Volume UP and Power On at the same time).
12. The Galaxy Tab will now perform the EXT4 conversion.
13. Sit tight, depending on how much data you have, this can take quite a long time.
14. Once finished, click reboot system now (by pressing the power button).
At this point, You have installed the Overcome Kernel with CWM included and converted the Filesystem to EXT4. It has been reported that many stock ROMs will boot and run fine now, however some may not, but it just depends on your ROM etc.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11713685.
Would be there any problem ? or is there any easy way to install CWM Recovery.
I had bricked my tab while modding battery icon and it was not booting now. Now i want to flash with the custom rom available here. I am noob to flashing so just want to confirm the steps mentioned above applicable to the bricked tab. Can somebody guide me for bircked tab.
Please mentioned the good custom rom with Ext4 conversion at the time of install. I am using indian tab.

Hey guys.
Just bought a brand new SGS on Portugal Vodafone last week. On first day, and after read some hours here in the foruns i already rooted it and unlocked it ^^
Now a question arrises, debrand the bastard!!! i hate the Vodafone animation on the start after the first boot logo that says Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000, hate the vodafone bloatware that fuls the screens, and sincerely dont like the lots of Samgung App that sneeks around every corner of the phone.
Already flashed and debranded other phones so im not really a BIG noob on the thing, but im a really NOOB on Samsung phones. To be honest im scared with all the procedures that exists... Already backed up EFS folder for starting. attached you can find 2 screenshots i taked of the version and about screens
I can enter recovery and download modes and already noticed i cant install Clockwork Recovery ( is it the best here for the SGS, or stock one is suficient? ) because im at 3e version of android recovery and not 2e. id love to try the ROM MANAGER app...
So as im at 2.3.3 i guess i'll wait for a custom ICS, but i really would like to get ride of this bloatware, stock or custom ( i like cyanogen roms )... is there a soul that is willing to help me?
thanks in advance
Nuno
Hey,
seems you want try ICS rom. Okay here ya go:
1. First you want rooted ROM with CWM installed. Easiest way to do this is flashing a "base
ROM" like this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ficeto.u/files/JVU/JVU-RE.zip/download
(Thanks Darky and Ficeto, http://www.darkyrom.com/community/index.php?threads/odin-jvu-re-gt-i9000.6558/)
2. Extract the files, you should have: Odin 1.3, .pit file and PDA.tar
3. Now open Odin, set .pit file
-tick repartition
-set PDA.tar into "PDA"
-put your phone to "Download Mode"
-make sure all is okay and your phone is detected by Odin (if isnt't, you have to install SGS drivers to your PC)
-click start
4. When flashed, wait until your phone reboots. (nice sound fx, eh?)
5. Now your phone is rooted and has CWM recovery.
6. Now download Teamhacksung's CM9 ICS .zip:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363593
-download also Google apps
7. Put your phone to PC and copy these files to your phone internal sdcard.
8. Go to recovery and wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition
-then install .zip from sdcard
-choose your zip
-flash
-when flashed, flash Google apps
-wipe data&cache again, or calendar sync wont work
9. If it goes to bootloop (wont pass samsung galaxy bootlogo) flash again.
If Google sync won't work, you have to install Google apps fixer from CM9 thread.
Hope I helped, ask if you didn't understand something=)
You are doing this at your own risk

Deep Breath, and here we go again, lets go eat an Ice Cream Sandwich
Very glad to hear all went okay!
Teamhacksung has released new CM9 build today, try it
Also, Codename Android has quite stable ICS build, and I think it's the most stable ICS build so far.
Welcome to ICS, it tastes good!
Hi
Long story short - last week I rooted & flashed my stock i9000 from 2.3.3 (XXJVO) to 4.2.1 (cm10) only to discover the phone wouldn't ring. I foolishly decided to use the nandroid backup to return to 2.3.3 and I'm now stuck. I can get into recovery mode but no further; I gather this is because the back up data and recovery system are on incompatible formats (rfs & ext4/mtd?). I get the "unknown volume for path ... " / " can't mount ... " errors I've seen in a number of posts here (but can't link to as a noob).
After a few days of research I believe I have 2 options:
1) use odin to put the i9000 back to stock. I can see the overall approach but not sure which files to specify and I'm a tad worried what I might do to my phone if I attempt a repartition
2) try & get cwm6 back on the phone & then flash back to 4.2.1, which would be my preferred option (a non-ringing phone is better than what I have now ). I really don't know how to attempt this though. I assume it'll involve odin (my i9000 is at least visible to odin, fortunately).
Can anyone please advise whether it's safe (or even sensible) to attempt to get cwm6 back on my i9000 and if so, in idiot proof steps, how to do so? Or should I be dropping the phone back to stock and starting again from there?
This is my first attempt at rooting/flashing a phone & I've gone from anxiety (will it work?), to elation (it worked, thanks to guides on xda!), to terror (what have I done to it?!). I'd like to get back to that middle state if anyone would be kind enough to assist.
Thanks
Bob
If it helps, I did the following to get in this mess
- used odin 3 v1.7 to put cf-root-xx_oxa_jvo_v3.2._cwm3rfs.zip on to the phone (following a guide)
- did a nandriod backup from recovery mode
- installed titanium root & mybackup root and made back ups from both (cue false sense of security)
- flashed to slimbean (but couldn't get a keyboard)
- flashed to cm10, but then realised phone wouldn't ring
- attempted to recover the nandroid backup, to get back to a safe start point
- had that sinking feeling & discovered I maay be out of my depth ...

Hi Bob,
I know exactly how you feel. Had exactly the same good feelings -> problem -> bad feelings three months ago. While on stock I did a nandroid backup which I tried to flash back. What was my surprise when I realized it was not that easy. :crying:
After first thoughts "why had I flashed my phone when it was okay until then" I did some research. I came to a page which helped me a lot. In fact it saved me from buying a new phone. If you do what it advises, I bet you can save your phone and get it working again.
Check this guide.
Hope to hear from you only good news. :fingers-crossed:

Hi Bob,
Your issue has to do with the new partition scheme that CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2.x) uses. Here are the steps for going back to stock:
Download your stock firmware from http://www.samfirmware.com (Registration is necessary, but is free)
Download the ''FlashProgram'' from samfirmware (Odin + PIT)
Unzip firmware, so you have either 3 .tar/.md5 files or 1 .tar/.md5
Unzip the ''Flashprogram''
Open the Odin.exe
In odin, select the I9000_s1_odin_20100512.pit with the button 'PIT'
Make sure ''Repartition'' is ON!
'
If you have only 1 .tar/.md5 file, continue with these instructions:
Under PDA, select the .tar/.md5 file
Flash it!
It will get stuck in bootloop after it's finished, don't worry!
Download the attached file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=984140
Select the downloaded ''DBDATA.RFS.TAR'' as a PDA in odin
Make sure repartition is OFF this time!
Flash....
Enjoy!
If you have 3 .tar/.md5 files, continue with these instructions:
Under PDA, select the .tar/.md5 with PDA in the name
Under PHONE, Select the .tar/.md5 with PHONE or MODEM in the name
Under CSC, Select the .tar/.md5 file with CSC in the name
Flash!
Enjoy!
Now thank me for writing this guide...
Thanks for reponding

It's great to know that someone's recovered from the situation I've put myself into and thanks for the link.
So, looks like I do need to go to a stock version before I can get back to something up to date then. I was hoping to be able to fix the CWM, but so it goes. Onwards & upwards

Thanks for your guide. My confidence took quite a knock with this recent debacle so there's a few things I could do with double checking please ...
samfirmware has loads of downloads. I assume that I want the most up to date version that's not carrier specific. In my case one from April (i9000xxjw4 + i9000oxajw5). I downloaded and got a zip file containing just jw4_jw5_jw4.tar (and ss_DL.dll).
So, assuming that's the file I want I then need to:
use Odin** with
- repartition = ON
- pit = I9000_s1_odin_20100512.pit
- pda = jw4_jw5_jw4.tar
& thereafter use Odin with
- repartion = OFF
- pda = dbdata.rfs.tar
at this point I presume I'll be on Gingerbread 2.3.6 and able to flash to ICS or JB or similar
- will the repartition have destroyed the existing zip files (for CM10 & slimBean) that I had on the phone?
** I may be missing something obvious, but I couldn't see where on samsfirmware I'd get odin & the pit file. I have odin 1.7 already - is that up to date enough or do I need a more up to date verssion?
My apologies if these are really, really daft questions.
Thanks again
Bob

I am not such a pro to give you advice on all the questions but I am quite sure that it is not advised to go directly to JB from 2.3.6. Can someone confirm this please?

Your Odin is good enough. The file you downloaded is correct. The zip files will still be on your internal sdcard, but clockworkmod recovery and root are lost. You will need to reflash clockworkmod and root your phone again. After that, you can safely flash your favorite ROM again. You can go to Jelly Bean from gingerbread.

Sorry if I'm being too cautious here (once bitten, twice shy) but I'd just like to check something:
I need to use Odin twice (first with repartition ON & jw4_jw5_jw4.tar, then with repartition OFF & dbdata.rfs.tar). What, if anything, do I need to do between those two steps?
You mentioned that after the first flash that the phone will get stuck in a bootloop. I suspect that I'll need to put the phone back into download mode at this point. Can you please confirm if that is the case please?
Thanks for your help. It's very much appreciated

Hi Bob,
You are absolutely correct. When the phone reaches the boot loop after first flash, remove battery, and reinsert it and boot to download mode using VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER BUTTON. You then continue with flashing DBDATA.RFS.TAR. Hope this clears up your doubts.

You are very welcome mate. Glad I could help you out. Enjoy your working phone again!
Hope you guys can help me.
Was updating my ICS (Criskelorom) to JB 4.1.2 XXLT6 ROM of Philz (PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5) via Odin 3.07. Initially had some issues but, managed to get to where Odin resulted in a PASS. On REBOOT I only get up to the Samsung Galaxy GT-N7000 screen with a yellow ! triangle at the bottom. I was able to get to both Recovery and Download modes but would never get passed to homescreen and just stay on black screen.
Did it several times and got worried I'd brick my phone so I ran the ICS zip I had stored on my SD via Recovery mode and was able to get my phone running. Still want to pursue my JB upgrade though but, not sure if I was doing it right. Any help would be much appreciated guys.
Here is what I did...
MADE SURE OF THE FF.:
1) Install USB driver for Samsung Galaxy Note to transfer files between the phone and the computer using download of KIES from Samsung site
2) Enable USB Debugging Mode on the phone to connect the Android device with the computer
3) created a back-up of my contacts only
4) charged to above 80% battery charge
5) The phone should be factory unlocked and not locked to any particular carrier - I had unlocked it during my ICS upgrade from the GB original OS
THEN FOLLOWED THE STEPS:
Step-1: Download PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 for Samsung Galaxy Note to the computer
Step-2: Download Odin 3.07 which will help to install the root package on the phone. Extract the Odin zip to get Odin3 v3.07.exe file with some other files
Step-3: Place the Galaxy Note into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together until a construction Android robot appears on the phone's screen. Now press the Volume Up button to continue to enter into Download Mode
Step-4: Run Odin3 v3.07.exe as an Administrator
Step-5: Connect the Note to the computer using USB cable while it is in the Download Mode. Wait for some time until Odin detects the phone. When the device is connected successfully, the ID: COM box in Odin will turn yellow with the COM port number. Also, the successful connection will be indicated by a message saying Added in Odin.
Note: If the Added message does not come then try another US port, try the one located at the back side of the computer. If Odin still fails to detect the device then re-install USB driver
Step-6: In Odin, click the PDA button and select the PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 file
Step-7: Now configure the Odin settings. Ensure that the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are selected in Odin. As for the Re-Partition, uncheck the option
Step-8: Once everything is set, click the Start button in Odin. The installation should begin now and would take about few minutes to complete
Step-9: When the installation process is completed the phone will restart automatically. And soon a PASS message with green background will appear in the Odin indicating successful installation. After the home screen appears on the phone, unplug the USB cable from the device to disconnect it from the computer
Was able to reach Step-9 but my phone would not get to home screen.
Please help me with any advise anyone can give me?
thanks.
By the way, saw another option for Steps 5-6:
Step-5: Connect your Note N7000 with your PC using a data cable. Once the device is successfully connected, you will see a notification in Odin in the bottom left saying Added!! - if for some reason, you do not see the said notification, try another USB port. Also, check for ID:COM port being depicted by a number in yellow to make sure that you have successfully added your device.
Select the following files in Odin at their respective tabs from extracted XXLT6 firmware folder:
Step-6:
Click the PDA button to select the .tar file extracted earlier.
Click the Phone button, and select file with *modem* in its name (ignore, if this file does not file exist).
Next, click the CSC button, and select file with *csc* in its name (ignore, if this file does not file exist).
Click the PIT button to select the .pit file. (ignore, if this file does not file exist).
Ensure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are the only options selected in Odin window. Also ensure to select Re-Partition checkbox only if you are using a .pit file.
Except since I only had the TAR file I ignored the rest so I assumed I was doing it right up to that point. Also, the YELLOW highlight in Odin 3.07, wasn't yellow but kind of light blue.
That was it. All I did. Still, not succesful.
Please help.
Thanks.
Phew! That's a lot to read.. The file you are trying to flash is just a kernel not a whole rom. That's why your phone after the flash has a JB kernel and ICS rom. That's why the phone does not boot. To upgrade to JB, download a stock rom from sammobile.com and flash it using Odin the same way just in PDA of Odin.

Sorry about the read. =)
Was thinking I'd rather be complete than have anyone helping need to ask more clarifications to help me. =D
Oh that's why. Thanks for the reply. I will do that.
So I need to get the WHOLE ROM from the site you mentioned. A ROM that is complete, Kernel and all. Actually I thought I did get a complete ROM. Did not realize it was just a Kernel. What would be the best way to determine if a ROM is complete? What is usually the size of the file itself? The one I downloaded was like 8MB so I thought that was pretty big. Kinda looked for awhile for that XXLT6 original JB ROM so didn't stop to think if it was just a Kernel. My bad.
By the way, are the ROMs on Sammobile rooted? Or do I need to root them?
thanks again!

They are just stock roms, to root again use the philz kernel but for jb this time. Also use the .zip this time instead of tar file, you can flash the zip file from stock recovery itself. You can raed more in philz kernel thread

Got it, thank you Sirs you've all been a very big help. I ran into some issues with TW right after completing the install of 4.1.2. Every darn thing was stopping even acore and TW. Was about to chicken out and go back to my safety ICS ROM when I got to read some stuff about needing to Clear/Reset on Recovery mode after any firmware flashing as well as Clearing the Cache so I did. And voila, it worked. I think I'll rest my worrying brain for now on the root. =P
I'll root it next week. I'll just have fun with it for now. Been up playing around with this for over 24hours now. Having too much fun but already drained.
Thank you again for you help!
same situation here...!!!
hello XDA ppl...
I had ICS 4.0.4 and attempted to use PhilZ-cwm6-XXLTA-ATL-5.15.0.tar.md5.
That took me to the same situation I think... kernel for JB and ICS ROM...
I power on my phone and it gets to a GT-N7000 Note + Yellow Triangle screen and NO MORE!
I can get to PhilZ Recovery Mode or ODIN Download Mode.
That´s all...
I will attempt right now what you told the creator of this thread and update if it helped.
any help is welcome...

Safest way to get to JB with wipe (that is formatting) is to get philz kernel for ICS and then reboot to recovery do factory reset and wipe /system /data /internal storage /cache and then reboot to download mode and flash JB from odin. Else if you dont want to loose data, just boot into download mode and flash JB using odin.

Yeah!! May be you want to start by not wiping on a stock ICS kernel.
