[Q] Changing Launcher icons in ICS - Android Themes

Hi all,
I am working with ICS Android open source project downloaded from google.
For demo sake, I would like to change the Launcher icons of few apps(say email, calculator and browser).
Can someone provide some hints, such that these application icons would change when I install an APK. The new icons would be provided this with APK.
So, basically it works like, I bundle few icons with an APK and install it on the device - once the installation is complete, the new icons from APK would be applied to the application icons that I wanted to change.
Any help in this regard is much appreciated.
Regards,
Anees

[HELP] Go SMS Pro theme making - default fonts

Hi all,
I began learning how to create custom themes with the pc version of the theme maker yesterday. I've edited all the images and now I want set a default font to be used when the user installs the the theme.
I've placed my font in the assets/fonts folder but I don't know how to make the theme automatically use that font rather than the user having to search for font packages then manually setting the font.
Regards,
Ryan.

[REQUEST] Theme changer for The Ultimatum CM7.2 ROM

Hello. Cand anybody make some sort of separate patch to change the default theme in The ultimatul ROM? After some time people might want to change the overall theme (Metro, Xperia, MIUI, Jelly Bean) with all the other features (personalised apps and all).
Thanks!
PS : I don't mean to install the themechooser app and just change the theme, but rather have the other themes with their perks.
maybe if i explain myself a little better people will understand... i believe there is a way to compile the 4 different themes and to create a .zip file to just install from the recovery mode, instead of installing a fresh version of the ROM with the different themes in the theme selection..

[Q] cm11 theme, icons don't work unless there is a styles (overlays) folder

So as the title says. I'm working on a cm11 theme. I basically want to theme everything except for the "styles" itself because this is an addon theme to another theme. However, if I remove the "overlays" folder, the icons quit working. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong or is this a bug in the themeing app?
Thanks for any help!

[Q] Change stock app icons with custom ones (Xperia Z3c)

Hello,
I have an Xperia Z3 Compact and am looking for a way to change stock system app icons (ideally without using another launcher). I am aware you can use an apk tool to decompile, replace icons and recompile an app, but that doesn't work with system apps like Settings, Camera and Phone. Those cannot be dumped by an apk tool. Do I need root for this? How do I proceed? Please help :crying:

Hi, currently there are bunch of applications on the marketplace (e.g. Desktop VisualizeR) able to create custom shortcuts (i.e. allowing custom icons usage) on home screens.
As far as I know, however, rooted or not, there is no possibility to change icons system-wide, so they will stay the same in app-drawers, app pickers, task managers, etc. EDIT: Oh well, not for free!
If you, like me, find that icons for Sony applications are a bit dated yet you do not want to abandon their super fast launcher, you can always wait for the upcoming Lollipop update, which hopefully will bring us a UI overhaul
