Hello. Cand anybody make some sort of separate patch to change the default theme in The ultimatul ROM? After some time people might want to change the overall theme (Metro, Xperia, MIUI, Jelly Bean) with all the other features (personalised apps and all).
Thanks!
PS : I don't mean to install the themechooser app and just change the theme, but rather have the other themes with their perks.
maybe if i explain myself a little better people will understand... i believe there is a way to compile the 4 different themes and to create a .zip file to just install from the recovery mode, instead of installing a fresh version of the ROM with the different themes in the theme selection..

Hey guys i'm like a sucker for customization n i had a glimpse at what Cyanogenmod offers for themers, but just for the sake of themes i don't wanna flash clockworkmod although i'm rooted.
is there any alternative to theme the system completely without using cyanogenmod? please helllllllllllp!!!!!!!!
i've seen a couple os 'Zip'/flashable themes but they say it requires a 'deodexed' rom or something! can somebody tel me what's that!!
n last query does any1 got any idea bout 'MORPH'?
you can't edit odex file.(can but very hard)
for deodex rom you should edit framwork-res.apk and SystemUI.apk (alsow framwork.jar if you want overglow effect)
for you, better use launcher with support themeing.(Go Launcher and ADW Launcher have best customazing and larg number of themes but Launcher pro is smooth and less battery use.)
sorry for my bad english!
yup, just install Go Launcher EX..
has so many themes to choose from..
also install Go Locker..
just use uot kitchen works with every rom and everything
doesnt matter if you are on odexed or deodexed rom
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium

about morph: its for themer, not for user
theme
change res folder content
i planning to themed the current rom that i'm using. with an ics look and style. there are a lot of themes on the market. but installing a theme just eating another memory space and most of the themes have a bigger size. and the color that i'm looking for are rare on ics. so i just wanna ask do you know where i can get a white ICS icons that i can replace on the framework mdpi folder? particularly the Wifi, Battery and Network icons ???
use uot kitchen put you system.apk and your rom framework in there pick what you want create the zip then flash it
Dear Devs
My question is " Is it possible to add some theme change application in rooted TW Based Custom ROM?, same as Theme Chooser Theme application in Cyanagen Mod ROMs". Now the theme change is only possible by flashing ZIP file from recovery which is not revertable. But if the theme can be changed from an application it will be great idea. I am not a developer, I am missing the different theme look when on TW ROMs , thats why asking the question.
this might be a noob question
most of love the different thems that are present in cyanogen mod or aokp
since we do not have a FULLY BUG FREE cyanogen mod or aokp is there a way to run install the cm7 theams without the cyanogen mod
as we know we have a working cm 7 with bugs but the thems work without any problem in it. so is there any chance that the them chooser
integreated into other roms or just make them work without cm7

You cant do that
It is impossible
Because the themes integrate values and pngs in framework
Which will be incompatible on other devices
Theme engine is needed for proper working of themes which can run on supported framework-res.apk and systemui.apk.
For you, Simple answer is NO.
I don know HOW, but, it IS possible.
Not only by installing themechooser.apk and the themes (cyanbread.apk and androidian.apk), but modding a few system files.
CyanogenMod also has the capability ! !

Yes, but it would take a really long time, like six months of development. I guess no one would work on that.
I read somewhere that Theme Chooser is taken based on T-Mobile's rom source and CM team bring it for their source. Not sure if it is correct.
Hello,
i am creating a rom (touchwiz) based on cm10, i use a custom theme to serve as touchwiz interface but of course when you install such rom it will apply the stock cm10 theme and not the touchwiz theme!
any ideas to remove stock theme or make touchzwiz theme the default one?
thanks,
